Chapter 4 4 Comments on "The Son-in-Law"

Chapter 4.4. Comments on "The Son-in-Law"

Title: Angry Banana, the man who won platinum in the Qidian book

Angry Banana, also known as "Sister Banana", is one of the "Five Youths of Central Plains".

(The Princes Played with Fire, Misty Rain in Jiangnan, Mao Ni, The Cavalry Captain, Angry Banana.)
Angry Banana is a new platinum writer of Qidian in 2019.

I once thought he was a female author, but it turns out he's also one of those overweight otakus! (Applause~)

His personal honors:

In November 2017, he won the second "Chinese Literature Foundation Mao Dun Literature Online Literature Newcomer Award".

In May 2018, he was selected as one of the top 5 writers of the third "Chenggua Online Literature Award".

In April 2019, I was successfully promoted to Platinum Writer, achieving the Supreme Godhood! (Congratulations, flowers!)
Do we have to change the name to "Banana Platinum" in the future?

His representative works are "The Son-in-Law" and "Hidden Killer".

Before that, there were "Alienation" and "Diary of a Survivor" (these two were ruthlessly cut by him!)
He is best known for his work "The Son-in-Law".

I once jokingly called this book a "classic historical romance, business, martial arts, military, political, and mysterious dominance novel." It can be seen that the content is very comprehensive and rich.

1. He is the only "King of Interruption" who remains standing in the ocean of online literature!
Not to mention the two books that were cut off before, "The Son-in-law" alone has experienced countless interruptions in updates. It is not one or two days, nor one or two weeks. Monthly updates are the normal mode. This is his unique way, and no one can imitate it.

His monthly update model has countless readers anxious as ants on a hot pan, and threats like "sending razor blades" are useless. If he gets pushed to the limit and finishes the book, then it will be a disaster, and there will be no more to read!

His weekly update model made countless readers ecstatic, feeling like they had won the lottery, and they spontaneously advertised everywhere.

His daily update pattern makes countless readers fear and worry. Is it really going to end?
(Of course not, he was trying to get on the charts! As expected, he won the monthly ticket championship in May 2018, breaking all kinds of records!)
His unique update pattern means he never gets a perfect attendance, which is the same as many new authors. (I'm inexplicably happy!)

It has been statisticed that "The Son-in-Law" began serialization on May 23, 2011, and it has been almost 9 years since then, with an average of about 2000 words per day (historical data, for reference only).

It is still being serialized. According to the author, there are still one or two big stories. So, we will probably be able to see the completion next year, right?
2. He is the originator of countless "The Son-in-law" derivatives!
"The Son-in-Law" has spawned countless follow-up works (only counting Qidian Chinese website, there are more on other sites).

Books with the word "Zui Xu" in their titles include: "The Strongest Zi Xu in History", "Zui Xu in Another World", "Zui Xu in the Republic of China", "Zui Xu in the Yellow Turban", etc.

The titles that include "Zui Xu" in their introductions include: "A Good Husband of the Ming Dynasty", "The Strongest Holy Emperor", "Peerless Soul Weapon", "Returning to the Tang Dynasty with Weapons", etc...

The works involving the concept of "son-in-law" include: "Late Night Bookstore", "Mirror Giant", etc.

As the saying goes, "If you don't know the meaning of a son-in-law, you are not a writer!"

If you haven't watched "The Son-in-Law", how can you have the nerve to say that you are a literary youth, an online literature enthusiast, and an online literature writer?

In the early years of "The Son-in-Law", copying poems was popular, and all major works were proud of copying poems. I wonder if this was triggered by this book.

In the first few major stories of the book (romantic dramas focusing on family life), the protagonist frequently copies poems, but it makes the reader feel very comfortable, as if the poems should have been written by the protagonist. (I don't believe you~)

"Govern the country and bring peace to the world!"

The book begins as a family ethics drama and gradually develops into a story about building a business empire. It has a bit of a "Nothing Gold Can Stay" feel. (For details, refer to the History of Ming and Qing Dynasties)
Suddenly, the world was in chaos. Fang La's rebellion and Liangshan's rebellion unfolded the story of the people and events of the Jianghu, and wrote a unique martial arts novel.

Afterwards, the protagonist went to the capital to serve as a counselor and participated in the governance of the country, but he personally killed the emperor, which directly led to the division of the Northern and Southern Dynasties. (For details, refer to the History of the Song Dynasty.) Afterwards, the protagonist led the army to fight, showing unparalleled military talent, even occupying the dangerous southwest and seeking to seize the world's power. (For details, refer to Modern History and History of the Founding of the Nation.)

3. He is a fighter in the turbid era of online literature!

The author once said that Mr. Lu Xun's works had a great influence on him, making him feel more sensitive to the injustice and darkness in society.

The battle on Tieba.

Regarding the issue of piracy on Baidu Tieba, he was at the forefront, debating and defending it. Although he didn't achieve a clear victory, the far-reaching impact of supporting genuine products became increasingly clear, and more and more people gained a correct copyright awareness.

And Qidian Chinese Network has always been at the forefront of the times in this regard!

The battle on Zhihu.

He has answered many questions and debated many viewpoints on Zhihu.

Here is a small excerpt:

"In the online novel industry, can hard work alone lead to success? No! The biggest problem with any work involving art is the uncertainty of the judging criteria."

"There's no need to pursue literary grace. Writing style is about accurate output, and literary style is the method and style you choose for output. For example, when I read "The Altar of Earth," I had a feeling of relaxation and enjoyment from the whole reading. This is a form of literary style. Gu Long's rhythmic writing is also a different style. Jin Yong has almost abandoned all angular and strongly individual wording and punctuation. This is also a form of style."

The battle on Weibo.

"Mercedes-Benz female owner responds to hype", "Eight-hour work system", "Zhang Koukou case second trial upholds death penalty", and "Super-burning youth song and dance CM" two hours ago.

(Alas, he updates his Weibo much faster than his novels. He has so much time!)
No matter whether it's a big or small matter, a family matter, a national matter, or a world matter, as long as he sees it, he will talk about it. He really cares about me!
Sister Jiao, can we discuss this weekly update? How about two updates a week?

4. He is the most delicate "big sister" in online literature!
I can’t go into detail about his writing style because it is too delicate.

Those who have seen it know it, and those who haven’t seen it should have heard of it!
This is difficult for many readers who are accustomed to the fast-paced pace of online literature to adapt to, and they dare not try it easily!
Because I am worried that if I adapt to "The Son-in-Law", I won't be able to adapt to other genres!

In fact, there is no need to panic about this!
By the time you have read a few chapters of "The Son-in-Law", you have already finished reading a book by another great writer.

However, I still hope that readers will take the time to read the book "The Son-in-law" carefully.

You will get to know different online articles and a different self!

P.S.: On August 8, 2019, Sister Jiao uploaded Chapter 8: The Final Battle (End), which scared many people out of their wits. They thought they had finally seen the end of the book in their lifetime. It turns out that they had only finished writing the title and the content.

Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment!

I am Cang Yiwei, and I am here to speak for myself!

Off topic:
Many people jokingly say that this book, which accompanied them from middle school to college, and from college to becoming a father, is a work that will be written in their lifetime. Some also estimate that the book should have been written for a full ten years, to match Eason Chan's song "Ten Years."

No matter which one it is, it is not to be missed for friends who love historical literature.

The update is a little slow, but the content is rich!
