I just saw a news update on the web version and learned that he has published a new book.

I took a quick look at the content and it felt a bit like the time period of Lord of Mysteries, with the surface and inner worlds reminiscent of The Naming of the Night, and the writing style similar to After a Deep Sleep. It felt like a strong mix of styles, with a hint of weirdness.

The style of the whole book is completely different from "The Legend of Lan Ke", whether it is the subject matter, setting, or even the classification, there has been a major adjustment.

In terms of innovation, he seems to be following the path of the squid.

However, the story is not very exciting because it has been laying the groundwork in the early stages, so it is still difficult to see the exciting part.

I misjudged his last book when it was released, and I still don't have a very good impression of this one.
