In the eyes of the Azure Emperor, a true immortal is a being whose physical body and primordial spirit are more perfect than those in the human realm.

Immortal Kings are beings whose physical bodies and primordial spirits are more perfect than those of True Immortals.

The reason why completing the Immortal Path in the Mortal World is equivalent to becoming a Quasi-Immortal King is because one has already honed their physical body and primordial spirit to the level of a True Immortal in the realm of humanity.

The accumulation of the True Immortal Path was equivalent to using time to continuously refine one's physical body and primordial spirit, making them more and more perfect.

Once you understand all this, it becomes simple: find a way to speed up the process. That's why the Azure Emperor divided it into three stages. The first stage is to imitate the Immortal King, not aiming to achieve the goal, but simply completing a part of it. This is to prove that you have enough talent to proceed to the later stages.

When the Azure Emperor explained this to all living beings, he sighed deeply, saying that in the end, talent still plays a part.

Even so, many True Immortals were very grateful to the Azure Emperor. This time, they needed very little talent, and with the Azure Emperor's experience, they could achieve their goal with a little effort.

In the years that followed, the Azure Emperor led many True Immortals to research how to complete these three sections of the journey quickly and efficiently.

Through the Azure Emperor's exploration, it was found that relying solely on methods like thunder and fire was insufficient to allow a True Immortal's body to progress rapidly.

We must use even more brutal methods.

The path chosen by the Azure Emperor and many True Immortals was to imitate the Great Tribulation of the Immortal Kings.

There are many people in the Primordial Ancient Realm who have survived the Tribulation of Immortal Kings. With their experience, even if the imitation is not complete, it can still be imitated to a great extent.

They called themselves Emperor Yan, Emperor Huang, Chi You, Ying Long, and the Nine Heavens Mysterious Lady, and they waged one great battle after another on the ancient primordial star, fighting their way to the supreme realm.
