Primordial Era: From Primordial Human Race to Grand Luo Immortal

Chapter 118 117 The Supreme Dharma Gate of the Three Paths of Buddha, Demon, and Path as One

Chapter 118, Section 117: The Supreme Dharma of the Trinity of Buddha, Demon, and Path

Rahu seemed to have expected this, his smile enigmatic:

"At that time, you will receive an extra portion of the resources."

"it is good!"

The Time Demon revealed a triumphant smile, and the essence of the Cause and Effect Demon appeared in his hand. With a flick of his finger, it fell into the Hou's body.

Under Rahu's control, the origin of the God of Cause and Effect began to merge with Hou. The supreme divine power of cause and effect began to be engraved on Hou's flesh and blood and the Great Dao. The roars emitted by Hou became more and more terrifying, and the contagiousness of the curse power was enhanced once again.

Seeing this, Rahu revealed a satisfied expression. The supernatural powers of the God of Cause and Effect and the God of Curse were extremely strange. His demonic seed would not only spread along the power of the curse, but also flow along with cause and effect.

"Hongjun, Hongjun, how easy is it to break free from your own limitations and transcend these barriers? It must be that the Dao is waning while the demonic forces are rising!"

The Hou's form transformed into a streak of gray light, merging into the omnipresent aura of calamity, and drifted away to an unknown destination.

……

Mount Sumeru.

After the Demon Realm was shattered into countless microcosms by Ji Yuan, Buddhism gathered many small demonic worlds, transforming them into Buddhas. Jieyin even comprehended a method that could rapidly improve the disciples within the sect.

It is called the unity of Buddha and Demon.

The Buddha is inherently connected with merit and incense offerings, while demons are inherently connected with calamities and karma; the two are naturally opposed.

The method of the unity of Buddha and demon allows Buddhists to transform between Buddha and demon, yin and yang, righteousness and evil. It can improve one's cultivation through merit, temper one's physical body and refine one's mind through calamity and karma, and comprehend the changes of yin and yang. It can be said to have many benefits.

However, it also has its drawbacks. This method requires a high level of willpower. As we all know, the demonic path can improve one's strength very quickly. Those who are not determined can easily become addicted to the demonic path and be unable to extricate themselves. In the end, they will feed themselves to the demons, become demons themselves, and completely lose their true Buddha body.

But Amitabha Buddha truly deserves to be called the ancestor of Buddhism and Taoism. His power of great compassion and mercy, which manifests in countless Buddha lands and saves all sentient beings, completely suppressed the demonic distractions, allowing the monks to accelerate their cultivation without suffering from the erosion of distracting thoughts.

Meanwhile, Ji Yuan's Subhuti thought was cultivating in the Buddhist realm, comprehending the profound mystery of the unity of Buddha and demon.

"The Buddha and the demon are one, combining the wonders of the two paths, increasing cultivation and combat power. He is indeed worthy of being called the Buddha of Guidance. He can maintain his true nature under the suppression of fate and step out of the barriers. He is truly extraordinary. Perhaps among the saints, he is only below the Supreme Master Uncle."

Subhuti said to himself.

The more one comprehends the unity of Buddha and demon, the more one appreciates Jieyin's great talent. This is a perfect fusion of two completely opposing forces. Jieyin's understanding of the essence of Buddha and demon has reached an extreme level. If Rahu had not become a saint, perhaps Jieyin could have competed with him for the position of the Lord of the Demonic Path.

"Buddha and demon can be one; Buddha is originally demon, and demon is originally Buddha. But Buddha also evolved from Tao; Buddha is Tao."

"Buddha, demon, and Tao can communicate with each other. I can practice the method of integrating the three paths, making the three into one, with infinite supernatural powers."

Subhuti's mind raced, countless inspirations intertwined, and suddenly a flash of inspiration appeared.

"I got it!"

He suddenly stood up, his body split into black and white, one side of his face solemn and dignified, the other side filled with murderous intent. A wisp of eye-shaped Dao pattern appeared at the junction of black and white on his forehead. When he opened his eyes, they shone with divine light.

The Buddhist kingdom rippled, like a small boat swaying precariously in a raging storm.

"Amitabha."

The guide chanted Buddhist mantras and thrust out a palm, drawing the monks out of the Buddhist kingdom.

“The true Dharma that Subhuti realized is not something you can comprehend because your will is not firm.”

The monks clasped their hands together, their faces solemn and dignified, yet greed, delusion, and anger surged within them.

“Brother, his comprehension is far too powerful. In the midst of the birth and death of the Buddha Kingdom, he thoroughly understood the true meaning of the unity of Buddha and demon, and even innovated by combining the strengths of the three schools.” Cundi Buddha Mother looked at Subhuti in astonishment.

Although he knew that Subhuti was the embodiment of Ji Yuan's Wood Authority, and that it was somewhat terrifying that he could comprehend a top-level supernatural power during the birth and death of the Buddhist kingdom in the Three Realms Assembly, not to mention that he now had to integrate the three paths into one.

The Buddha, in his welcoming gesture, clasped his hands together, his eyes filled with compassion.
"He has reached the profound realm of enlightenment, where one can hear the Dao in the morning and comprehend it in the evening. If he did not want to pursue the path of ultimate strength, he would have already obtained the Primordial Dao Fruit."

Looking at Ji Yuan's incarnation, Subhuti, the Buddha of Guidance was filled with emotion. Although he had not been able to have a master-disciple relationship with the original Ji Yuan, his incarnation was already the head disciple of the sect, which could be considered as a karmic connection.

He glanced at his disciples, who were of varying abilities and filled with distracting thoughts, and shook his head with a sigh: "The difference between living beings is like a mayfly gazing at the sky, or a grain of sand sinking into the sea of stars."

"upbraid!"

Standing in the center of the Buddha-land, Subhuti emitted the sound of creation, and the Buddha-land, as if created from the heavens and earth, revealed its true nature.

Gold and black intertwine, Buddha and demon merge.

Subhuti lightly touched his forehead with his finger, and his body turned into ashes. Then, Buddhist energy and demonic energy surged within the Buddhist kingdom, rushing towards him.

In an instant, Buddhist and demonic energies intertwined, and a causal connection was also made to the space-time at the center of the primordial world.

Buddhist essence, demonic energy, and Taoist intent merged to create a majestic and supreme Dharma body.

It has three heads and six arms, and a halo behind its head.

The head on the left has a dignified and solemn appearance, representing the Buddha.

The head in the middle is calm and natural, representing the Dao.

The head on the right is wild and unruly, representing the demon.

The three heads represent the three realms of existence. The halo behind the head gathers the thoughts of greed, ignorance, and anger, while the six arms behind the head control the six desires of the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind.

The three streams converge and blend perfectly.

Subhuti opened his eyes, and three voices rang out simultaneously, one solemn, one calm, and one violent:

“Buddha, Mother Buddha, I have comprehended the supreme method of unifying the three paths of Buddha, Demon, and Tao, which is called the Three Lives, Three Aspects, Three Truths, and Three Treasures Manifestation Body. Only those who have achieved success in the three paths can cultivate it.”

With a single thought, Subhuti returned to his original state, performed a Buddhist bow, and spoke again:
"This method involves the continuous flow of the three phases, allowing one to grasp the power of heaven and earth in any situation."

He then softly recited the Dharma to the two holy beings, the Buddha of Amitabha and the Mother of Cundi.

The two saints put their hands together in prayer and said in unison, "Amitabha, well done, well done."

Although this method has an extremely high threshold, it is not too difficult for those with great supernatural powers. Which of today's great supernatural powers has not practiced the three methods? With diligent practice, one can enter the door.

Most importantly, this method has the characteristic of allowing the three paths to flow and exchange freely, which is extremely beneficial to sages who entrust themselves to the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man. Even when separated from the primordial world, they can still convert the sacred power of the three paths of Heaven, Earth, and Man from their other two bodies.

The Buddha of Guidance has already learned from Laozi that the Chaos Demon God has returned. With this method, he is no longer afraid to fight in the Outer Heavens.

Having comprehended the Dharma and transmitted the true teachings, Subhuti entered into cultivation again. The Chaos Demon God returned, and he continued his cultivation day and night, awaiting the opportune moment.

Meanwhile, Ji Yuan, who was far away at the Jianmu tree in the center of the primordial world, gathered his consciousness. Since he and I were originally his consciousness, he naturally devoted more mental energy to comprehending the most powerful method.

What he saw from Subhuti, however, surprised him.

Why did so many disciples from the Chan and Jie sects go to Buddhism?
