Chapter 33 Exploring the World
At this moment, the communication channels within Crimson Storm have been completely changed.

As the elderly man explained the situation on the other end of the communication, the three Wei brothers exchanged puzzled glances. In that instant, a ripple of synesthesia swept through them.

"Please rest assured. We will do it. After all, we are Chinese too."

"Thank you so much, young comrades!"

With the communication shutdown, public communications finally returned to normal.

Stark Penticost immediately demanded, "Report immediately! What exactly happened? And why did your synesthesia fluctuate so much?"

"It's nothing, we were just affected by the electromagnetic interference from the nuclear explosion. After the communications were cut off, we panicked for a while. That caused the synaptic fluctuations, sir."

The perfunctory answer instantly created a tacit understanding among the three Wei brothers. However, this was also noticed by Stark Penticost and the others in the Shattered Dome base command room.

Stark Penticost didn't dwell on the linguistic inconsistencies. He took a deep breath and said, "Let's prepare for the immediate task and wait for the Cherno Alpha and Eureka Raiders to arrive before eliminating the monsters together."

"Roger that!"

The transport plane's cable catches came loose, and the 1,000-ton weight of the Storm Red crashed to the ground.

Dust billowed up, obscuring everyone's vision. The road, which was even strong enough to support tanks, was slammed into two huge footprints by the weight, and the moist brown soil beneath the craters gushed out like springs.

"Unauthorized personnel, please evacuate immediately. This area will now be under the control of the Rim Pacific Defense Joint Forces – Jaeger Storm Crimson. Pilots: the Wei brothers. Verify number..."

The Self-Defense Forces and American soldiers below, who were in a state of apparent confrontation, couldn't help but look at each other in bewilderment.

But the next second, the leaders of their respective teams received a message from above.

"I'm sorry. Our military has ordered us to stay here and not retreat in any way. Please understand."

The three Wei brothers were taken aback; this was the first time in their careers that the local military had refused their request after deploying mechs.

"We have received confirmed information that two Level 4 monsters are heading this way. Your presence here is of little use. To avoid unnecessary casualties, please evacuate immediately."

These words caused an uproar among the soldiers below. However, the officers calmly suppressed the commotion.

"Sorry, but military orders are absolute!"

The three Wei brothers found the situation quite perplexing. Although they were triplets, they were still quite young, and having spent so much time in hunter training camps and bases, their ability to handle such problems was limited.

"Sir! We have notified the local troops, but they have refused our request to withdraw."

Stark Penticost knew exactly what these people were thinking. Those politicians, who would become as excited as rabid dogs at the sight of profit, were displaying their true nature in full force at this moment.

"Crimson Storm".

"Yes, sir!"

"Once the notice is issued, you can proceed according to the plan."

"Yes, sir!"

Crimson Storm ignored everything else. It strode forward with its massive feet, crossing the soldiers' lines amidst their horrified and shocked gazes. Its footsteps landed a short distance away, the force of which, like an earthquake, caused the soldiers inside the tanks and armored vehicles to tremble uncontrollably.

They had no doubt that if the neural connection were to malfunction even slightly, these steel feet suspended in mid-air would crush them, along with the heavy tank, into flattened discs.

The commanders' faces were grim, for they knew what this meant. Being stepped over their heads signified humiliation; at the same time, the heavy stomp upon landing was a threat to keep them in line.

"Fuck!" "Baka yarou!"

……

At this moment, all the Seraphim had broken out of the encirclement, but they all looked up at the tall, crimson mech.

Quan Tiehua's mind was a complete mess at that moment, and he didn't know what to say.

Pacific Rim World!

"what?"

His unconscious mutterings were clearly heard by the other brothers in the communication channel.

"This is another world. We probably entered it through the turbulence of the warp. I've dreamed about this world before. I never thought it would actually come true."

To be honest, Astartes is really amazing; he can lie without blushing, without his heart skipping a beat, and without even panting.

“Brother, this is the prophetic ability bestowed upon you by the Emperor.”

"May the Emperor protect us," Quan Tiehua replied somewhat perfunctorily, then continued to explain, "This world is being spied on by an alien species. They..."

Quan Tiehua only modified some of the opening and key information. He explained all the other basic information to the other brothers exactly as it was.

"These damned, endless groups of the opposite sex."

"Take it easy, bro. This world is a perfect blend of a garden world and an industrial world, especially its... uh... Titan mechs?" Quan Tiehua said, pointing to the distant Crimson Storm, unsure how to explain the mech.

"Perhaps we can acquire the technologies in this world that are useful to us, and absorb the things that are useful to us."

"Nice suggestion."

"So I hope that when you encounter problems in the future, you won't overthink things. Some situations here may be very different from those in the Empire."

"Then we should reclaim this precious world for the Emperor."

"..."

"And then what? Send a greedy governor here and turn this world into a mess? Ah, my brother, let's not even talk about whether we can reclaim this world. Just consider what will happen after we leave this world; we might not even be able to find this place again. So whether we reclaim it or not doesn't make much difference." Quan Tiehua shook his head with a smile at these words.

"Right now, the most important thing for us is to get out of here." Quan Tiehua pointed to the sky. "While the technology of the humans in this world isn't as advanced as that of the Empire, their application of certain technologies and their underlying philosophies are indeed more advanced than those of the Empire's Mechanicus. For example, there are countless detection devices orbiting above us, observing and monitoring us around the clock. They can see every single thing we do. Some of their professional-grade military satellites can even read a person's lip movements when they speak, using that to determine what they're saying."

The seraphim exchanged bewildered glances. To be honest, it seemed that apart from those annoying assassins and the Mechanicus, which had hidden countless treasures, there weren't many organizations in the Empire that possessed such detection equipment.

For example, although their battle group also has satellites, they are only used during temporary operations and are to be recovered after the war.

Moreover, it's only barely enough to lock onto certain groups and extreme individuals. Unlike satellites in this world, which can lock onto targets with meter-level or even sub-meter-level accuracy.

In particular, their response time is remarkable. For the Empire, a response time of several hours is acceptable. But here, their response time is only a few minutes or even seconds.

This is something that even a mechanical engineering teacher couldn't match!
