Chapter 75 The Death Ghost Legion "Hehe"

Chapter 75 The Death Ghost Legion "Hehe"

As the Thunderhawk transport ship quickly entered the hangar, the warships didn't even bother to close their not-quite-closed hatches before starting their engines.

As soon as the group disembarked from the Thunderhawk gunship, they saw Kesarol, the think tank director of the Death Ghost Legion, rubbing his hands together, walking towards them with open arms and a sincere smile on his face.

"Brothers, you are truly remarkable! You have managed to hold out against the demon's attack for so long!" He said, as he approached Basha Kur, the leader of this battle from the Shark Eater Chapter, with whom they had some ties.

Looking at Basha Kur's power armor, now tattered and covered in scratches, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. After all, they were both from Astartes. Even if their relationship wasn't good, as long as they weren't betrayed and were in the same battalion, they were practically cousins!

Seeing this brother, with whom I had a long-standing relationship through various transactions, suffer such a serious injury is truly heartbreaking!

"All of this is for the Emperor." Basha Kur still maintained the taciturn habit unique to the Shark Squad, who had long wandered outside the borders of the Empire due to their frugality.

Seeing the current state of the think tank director of the Death Ghost Legion, with whom he had often been driven to despair during numerous transactions, he sensed something was amiss!

"If possible, I also hope to treat my brothers!" Basha Kur didn't want to say much more; for the first time, he felt "tired."

Right now, all he wants is to find a place to rest properly.

"Come on, brothers, come and lend a hand!" With that, he walked around Basha Kur and headed towards the Thunderhawk gunboat.

Basha Kur could only shake his head helplessly at this sight!
Meanwhile, the Astartes, who were still unloading supplies from the Thunderhawk gunships, saw a think tank director looking at them with a determined gaze and a serious expression as he walked towards them. Thinking he was there to use psionic energy to heal the wounded, they instinctively made way for Kesarol.

But who would have thought that this guy, halfway there, would turn a corner and end up inside the Thunderhawk gunboat, which was laden with supplies? Smiling broadly, he picked up a crate of supplies, then subconsciously weighed it in his hand, his smile instantly widening. He quickly turned and walked outside, loudly proclaiming, "Uh...please, just put it anywhere...uh, don't be shy!"

Everyone "..."

……

After receiving all the crew, the Glory Prophecy, the flagship of the Ghost Revenge, fully operational, made a sharp turn and headed towards Mandeville.

Even before the crew inside the ship had fully prepared everything, the warship had already entered near-light speed travel.

We have to run fast! If the enemy's reinforcement fleet arrives and traps them here, that would be disastrous!

As for the Shark Legion, which was engaged in battle with the Astral Knights Legion, they couldn't care less. The fact that they were able to send a few warships to provide fire support was already quite an achievement.

If you get involved when there are still targets on your own ships, that would be suicidal!

Tiberos sensed something was amiss; the Star Knights seemed unwilling to engage in prolonged combat. They began to tighten their defenses and concentrate their superior forces and heavy weaponry to seize the key compartments that could activate their warships.

"Are they trying to escape?" Tiberius asked, looking at the line blocking their way after piercing the chest of an Astral Knights member in front of him.

Meanwhile, the other shark canned creatures behind them gradually eliminated the remaining enemies one by one.

Seeing the corpses strewn across the ground, and recalling the Thunderhawk gunboats previously deployed by the fleet for transport, his expression instantly changed. "Everyone, destroy the engine rooms of all enemy warships with all your might, then evacuate immediately!" With that, he led his shark-like crew towards the engine rooms. They now had to intercept the Astral Knights' fleet, even if it only delayed them for a day, it would buy the escaping Death Ghost Legion crucial survival time.

Those whom the Emperor wants to protect, the Astartes will naturally do everything in their power to protect!
……

Delehan watched the fleet disappear into the distance, its engines gleaming in the distance, and angrily smashed several of his machine servants into pieces.

Why hasn't the fleet started its pursuit yet?

A corrupted mortal officer said tremblingly, "The engines of some ships have been damaged and are being repaired. We also have control of the engine rooms of some other ships that we are not in our hands. We are now doing everything we can to take it back."

Upon hearing this, Delerhan suddenly waved his hand. The mortal officer was so frightened that he immediately curled up.

But the expected attack did not come. It turned out that Delerhan simply waved his hand angrily and turned to walk towards the crystal ball.

"My God! I need your help! I hope you can stop them!"

Upon returning to the spatial dimension, Delerhan bowed and anxiously revealed his purpose.

But to his surprise, he was rejected!
“They can stop us, but they’ve used a large force! I’ll definitely be detected! I can’t take that risk!”

Dele was unusually unwilling to accept this, and was about to speak when he was interrupted again, "I can feel the power of those things that are compressing space rapidly approaching here. Their target is clear: that otherworldly soul!"

Delehan immediately realized who this was referring to and subconsciously asked, "The Black Legion?" After receiving confirmation, he couldn't help but continue to persuade him, "But! If you can't obtain that otherworldly soul, how will you restore your power? You know, the others..."

"No need for further explanation! Even if I obtained it, I would need half of my full power to lock onto that new universe. Therefore, my current need for it is not significant. However, I cannot obtain it from others, nor can I obtain it!"

Delehan was somewhat unwilling, knowing that this was the biggest loss his warband had suffered since its resurrection, all for the sake of this plan.

In the end, they gained nothing! They even had to slink away, and from what they said, they were supposed to protect what they were trying to steal?

This outcome was truly difficult for him to accept. He wanted to speak again, but was instead swept away from the space by a wave of his hand.

After his consciousness returned, he was suddenly startled! He subconsciously pressed his hand on the crystal ball again, trying to enter that space once more, but found that this time, no matter what he did, he could not sink his consciousness into it again.

This made him feel uneasy and angry, which made him feel somewhat impatient.

In the end, he had no choice but to accept the outcome! He sat back on the command throne with a gloomy expression.

Looking at the ongoing battle footage and reports of damaged ships on the screen, his anger grew increasingly intense until finally, he roared and ordered, "Eliminate all these stinking shark cans!"
