Chapter 18 Not Smelly and Smelly
What he should do is to quietly explore the mysteries of runes and concentrate on learning spells. As for taking risks to pick up inheritance, that is not a risk, it is for the purpose of learning spells better.

Along the way, after the pointy-eared elf, he met a group of dog-headed men from the same tribe, as well as two lizardmen. He did not show up with his own tribe, nor did he take action near the lizardmen. He was like a perfect passerby, and he truly achieved a clear purpose.

He held the bug in his hand and peeked in front of the big rock. There was no change here since the last time except for a few more mushrooms.

"Your mental strength has become more concentrated, little dog-headed man."

The half-human, hazy figure appeared as expected, its position and posture exactly the same as last time, and the voice still echoed in Ruger's mind.

"Great being, greetings to you! I have become a wizard apprentice."

Luger humbly saluted the half-man and raised the meatworm in his hand above his head.

This was based on what he had seen of the usual behavior of the gnolls in the tribe. If he was really a slightly smarter gnoll, then there would be nothing wrong with these actions.

The half-man was a little surprised, as if he didn't hear what he said and didn't say anything. He had no choice but to continue holding the meat worm like that.

Suddenly, there seemed to be a breeze blowing on my face.

He subconsciously looked up and was surprised to find that the half-man was sitting up.

Although the figure was still vague and illusory, the side-lying posture that had never changed turned into a cross-legged sitting position on a large rock. When recalling and comparing carefully, there was no obvious change in the expression on his face.

He seemed to hear some people laughing.

Ruger took the opportunity to look up and noticed that the half-human's eyeballs, mouth and other parts were still unable to move. He just didn't know why he could suddenly sit up after hearing that he became a wizard apprentice.

"Smart little one, what spell did you choose to solidify?"

The half-man's single eye didn't blink, and it looked even more awkward when he sat up.

Ruger reached out to take it. It was a palm-sized piece of crimson leather that came from nowhere, and the other was a bottle of yellow potion. It seemed that the half-man obviously wanted him to learn the magic skin technique first, and perhaps he had other plans.

He thought about it, and although it was not the magic skin technique, he still wanted to raise the question that had been accumulating for a long time.

After a wave of movement, three more bottles of medicine appeared.

"Forget it, take it. The black bottle contains a potion that can quickly increase your mental strength and help you break through to the second-level wizard apprentice faster. The two white bottles contain potions that improve concentration and assist in learning spells." There was still that uncomfortable feeling of tearing, and there were no lack of strong words in his words, but they were spoken without any fluctuation.

Maybe it was because he was sitting up, but Ruger felt that the half-human's speech contained more words with intonation.

Ruger swallowed the words that were about to come out of his mouth. He recognized the two bottles of potion. They were called Spiritual Heart Potion, very powerful. Perhaps one bottle would be enough for him to break through the last difficult problem. In Kalu's diary, he mentioned that this was something he was reluctant to drink casually, and he would only spend a bottle when pondering some important problem.

He probably recognized the potion in the other black bottle as well. It was mentioned in Kalu's diary and was a relatively common item.

The Awakening Potion can boost mental power and rapidly fill the spiritual realm.
