Chapter 79: Abyssal Cave and Ordering Food

Ruger calmed down the three guys for the time being, tore off his wizard robe, which was already in tatters, and tied it around his waist, then walked out of the abyss bedroom space.

He wanted to see if Kalu was still outside after so many days.

As soon as he walked out of the space gate, something flew towards him. He raised his hand to catch it. It was a few loose wizard robes.

"Put this on. Even if it looks a little strange, people with common sense will understand." Kaliu was still sitting in his previous position. "How does it feel to become a dragonborn kobold?"

Ruger clenched his fist and said, "I feel full of power. I feel like I can live for a long time. I feel full of energy."

He said as he separated his robes and put them into his storage pockets, picking out a hooded one and putting it on.

"Let's go," Kalu stood up and dusted himself off. "This should be the edge of a cave area. Maybe we can quickly reach a town with people and even have a drink in a tavern."

Luger nodded, and the two of them started on their way.

Then he began to look at Kaliu with strange eyes from time to time. First, he compared their heights. He found that he was actually the same height as Kaliu, or even a little taller. He felt a lot more relieved instantly.

What Ruger regretted was that he didn't discover it earlier, so he couldn't tell whether it was related to his use of the Demon Body spell, or even whether it was related to the transformation of the Dragonborn Gnoll.

"Is she still sad?" Kalu suddenly said.

Ruge was stunned for a moment before realizing that Kalu was talking about Aisijin.

"Yes, this is her first time leaving the tribe, but she is also very eager to see the outside world. She asked me to thank you for your language literacy spell." said Ruger.

He had just returned Aisijin and Dashaheng, who had been out for some fresh air, to their bedroom in the Abyss. He had also asked Kalu to cast a spell for them to learn the common language of the catacombs. Aisijin yearned for this new and exciting world, and while she was delighted, she also missed Old Gold Teeth.

After sitting down, Ruger lay on the slightly sticky table without any disgust.

The arrival of the waiter made him even more excited.

He coughed lightly, raised his hand to stop Karyu from speaking, and at the same time attracted the waiter's attention.

"Any recommendations, or you can give me a menu," Ruger said excitedly.

The waiter was stunned for a moment, then sneered, "A noble young master coming out under the light? Taverns in the Abyss Cave District never have a menu. Kaliu took out the twelve star coins and placed them gently on the table.

The waiter put away the star coins and whispered, "You'd better not act so excited outside, you not so bright young master, or you might not even make it to the end of the alley."

"Thank you, I will remember your words." Ruger said with a smile.

Only after the waiter left did Ruge lie down on the table again, move closer to Kalu and lower his voice.

"Where are we going next? Back to your academy?" said Ruger.

Kaliu smiled and shook his head.

"We may need to stay in this chaotic place where you can even see wanted criminals on the street for a while. I need to recuperate," Kalu said with a raised eyebrow. "Also, wizard apprentices like us usually have been away from the academy for decades."

Ever since Kalyu regained mobility, the expression on his face has been somewhat overflowing.

Ruger was a little excited when he heard this. He was happy to get in touch with this world. Everything was unknown to him, especially the area where humans lived, and it didn't seem to be dangerous here.
