Chapter 211 New Member Joins!
When Rorschach returned, Harold and the others were still in their hotel suite studying the island's defenses and infiltration routes.

They weren't as relaxed as Rorschach. Facing a small island guarded by Delta Squadron and multiple heavy firepower units, who would have the mind to go for a walk?
When Rorschach opened the door, he saw everyone sitting in the living room, pointing and commenting on the 3D projection of the island.

Even Anna, who is usually the most carefree, was lying on the sofa with her pen in her mouth, staring at the projector with a furrowed brow.

Rorschach's return clearly disrupted the solemn atmosphere.

Everyone instinctively turned their heads, but when their gazes passed over him and landed on the red-haired girl behind him, their expressions became subtle.

"This woman."

Clyde, with his sharp eyes, suddenly recognized her. "Isn't this the pilot of the fighter jet I shot down with a missile in Slovakia?"

"Rorschach, why did you bring people from the Department of Homeland Security?"

"Homeland Security? Oh right, I remember now, she was the pilot of that stealth fighter."

Everyone looked at this strange pair with confusion.

They didn't doubt that Luo Xia was being controlled by the other party, after all, he was unharmed, so there obviously hadn't been any fierce conflict.

"Rorschach, what's going on here?"

Harold hesitated, his expression as if he had seen his own child bring home a disreputable friend, wanting to scold him but afraid of hurting Rorschach's pride in front of outsiders.

"Well, it's a long story."

Rorschach first glanced back at Scarlett, who was looking around, shrugged at his companions, led her to sit down on the sofa, and began to tell her about Scarlett's background.

After hearing this, the expressions of everyone in the living room varied.

John, in particular, looked at Scarlett with a puzzled expression.

This top assassin, who always had a clear sense of right and wrong and believed in an eye for an eye, simply couldn't understand why this red-haired woman could still refrain from killing him after learning that her grandparents had died because of Rorschach.

What's even stranger is that, judging from their current demeanor, they don't seem like enemies at all; rather, it's as if Rorschach has picked up another hot female companion from some bar.

“Ahem, Rorschach.” Harold winked at Rorschach. “Let’s talk alone for a bit. I’ll wait for you outside.”

"no problem."

After Harold walked out of the corridor, Rorschach smiled at everyone and then said to Scarlett, "They are all my most trusted partners. You can trust them as much as you trust me."

Scarlett glanced at Rorschach and said coldly, "I never said I trusted you."

".OK."

Knowing he was in the wrong, Luo Xia didn't say much. He sighed softly and got up to walk down the corridor.

However, his words did not represent the attitudes of others, especially Scarlett's government background and the tone she used when speaking to Rorschach, which made the people present feel dissatisfied.

At this moment, only Scarlett and the trio remained in the room.

She looked around and finally fixed her gaze on Anna on the sofa.

"You're the female agent who betrayed the KGB first, and then the CIA?"

Anna gave her a cold glance and didn't reply.

While it's true that she left both intelligence organizations, it's not exactly something to be proud of. Neither Rorschach nor Clyde would ever tease her about it.

But Scarlett clearly didn't care about any of that.

She looked Anna up and down with an aggressive gaze, and finally let out a disdainful sneer.

"I heard that when you were in the KGB, you disguised yourself as a model? I used to have some high hopes for the KGB's reputation during the Cold War, but now it seems they weren't all that impressive."

She raised her chin defiantly: "To maintain this figure, are you sure you can still throw a punch or wield a gun?"

Anna, who initially didn't want to pay attention, gradually turned cold and replied in a deep voice, "At least I won't be shot down from the sky like a plucked vulture."

"Really? I don't think you're as powerful as you claim."

Scarlett got up and walked towards the inner bedroom, turning back to continue her provocation as she went: "If you have the guts, come over and have a go, let me see if you Russian women are just pretty but useless vases, or if you really have some skills."

After the girl entered the room, Clyde and John, who had watched the whole thing, were both quite surprised.

They could understand Scarlett's actions; she simply wanted to assert her authority and establish her position after joining the team.

But this method was far too crude, making Scarlett seem like an impulsive, hot-tempered, and dim-witted person.

However, her provocation did work.

Anna, already dissatisfied with her, abruptly stood up from the sofa, cracked her knuckles, and followed after her with a cold expression. Clyde and John exchanged a glance; these two usually taciturn men raised their eyebrows, neither stepping forward to stop her, looking like they were ready to watch the show.

In the corridor, Harold was scrutinizing Rorschach with a puzzled look.

"What's wrong with you lately, Rorschach?"

"Me? Nothing's wrong, everything's the same as before."

"No, no, no, although you used to act flamboyantly, you always maintained a high level of vigilance. But look at what you've done these past few days. First, there was that Latina girl—we'd never met her before and knew nothing about her—and you brought her here to meet us. Now it's this Scarlett from the Department of Homeland Security."

Harold pleaded, "I understand your guilt towards her, but we can make it up to you in other ways. I can give her an eight-figure bank account, and if she wants to leave Homeland Security, I can provide a perfect fake identity. You really don't need to bring so many strangers into the team; it's not safe for anyone!"

Luo Xia didn't respond immediately after hearing this. He frowned and pondered for a moment, then finally sighed and nodded, saying, "You're right, buddy, I do seem to have gotten a little... well, arrogant lately."

"Expansion?"

Harold clearly didn't understand the meaning of the word here. He looked at Rorschach's belly and chin and replied in confusion, "You still look the same as before. There's no sign of you getting fat."

".Ha ha ha ha."

Rorschach suddenly burst into laughter and put his arm around Harold's shoulder: "Old buddy, you're right. Something really important happened to me these past few days, and it made me a little complacent."

"What could be so important?" Harold asked curiously.

“It’s nothing,” Rorschach blinked, “I just found that I’ve become more durable.”

"Neuropathy"

Harold shook his head and chuckled helplessly.

“Alright, I’ve got your words in mind,” Rorschach said seriously, pointing to the door. “But I still think Scarlett is trustworthy. The Department of Homeland Security killed her father, and now she’s consumed by revenge. Let’s go in and talk first. Just to give me some face, don’t make things too difficult for her; I really do owe her a lot.”

After saying that, he winked at Harold and turned back into the room.

Harold stared at his retreating figure, utterly perplexed.

The Department of Homeland Security killed her father, so she wants revenge. But you killed someone's grandparents, aren't you afraid they'll seek revenge on you?
He shook his head. Although he had spent so much time with Luo Xia, he still couldn't keep up with the guy's wildly imaginative thinking.

Only John and Clyde remained in the living room.

Just as Luo Xia was about to ask where the two women had gone, the door to a bedroom suddenly opened.

Scarlett walked out with her hands in her pockets and a relaxed expression.

Then, amidst the strange looks from the crowd, Anna appeared wearing sunglasses, though her gait seemed a little unnatural.

This scene left Clyde and John looking at each other in bewilderment—were the two of them sparring in the room, or were they "sparring" something else entirely?
It's worth mentioning, however, that the atmosphere in the living room eased considerably when the two ladies came out of the room.

The group resumed discussing the battle plan.

With Scarlett's addition, the tactical deployment became more complete. After Harold and Clyde's careful calculations, the operation was finally scheduled for the following evening.

No, I think tonight is more suitable.

Rorschach suddenly interrupted their discussion, suggesting, "This sticky weather in Florida is making me feel awful; we should probably finish this quickly."

“But we don’t have any more weapons.” Clyde looked troubled. “Although we can contact a few reliable comrades who can provide guns and ammunition, they won’t arrive until tomorrow at the earliest.”

“There’s a Continental Hotel in Miami, I can buy some there,” Anna suggested, glancing at Scarlett who was smiling at her.

“It’s too risky,” Clyde immediately rejected. “The Continental Hotel’s intelligence network definitely has information about your appearance. Going there rashly will only expose our whereabouts.”

Just as everyone insisted on waiting until tomorrow night to take action, Rorschach suddenly clapped his hands to signal everyone to be quiet.

Once everyone's attention was focused on him, he raised an eyebrow mysteriously: "I've already taken care of the weapons. Last night, while I was taking a walk, I passed by a military base and accidentally got lost and wandered in. When I left, I grabbed some weapons on the way out."

Everyone looked at each other, not knowing why.

A few minutes later, when Rorschach pushed open the door to the suite's bedroom, everyone was speechless with shock at the sight before them.

"You...you just said you only took a little bit?"

"Uh"

Rorschach glanced at the mountain of weapons and equipment piled on the floor and shrugged nonchalantly.

"Perhaps my understanding of 'a little' is somewhat different from yours."
