Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 320 The Chaotic Camp

Chapter 320 The Chaotic Camp

The chaos continued to spread; the once bustling camp was now a scene of utter devastation.

The marching crowd grew larger, with people seemingly constantly joining them. These could be other Death Eaters, or perhaps Bulgarian fans filled with resentment after losing the match.

The entire camp had been completely destroyed. On the ground, there were tent wrecks that had not yet been completely burned, trampled food and broken utensils mixed together, and shouts and shrill laughter could be heard everywhere.

Suddenly, something seemed to stand up in the open space in the distance.

Xilen squinted and realized that it was a lion, a lion nearly ten feet tall made up of tent fragments, stones, and broken furniture.

With a sudden charge, the lion instantly broke through the previously orderly procession.

Then, the ground began to rise, and countless sharp stones mixed with knives and forks swept in like rain.

Siren guessed that the lion must be Professor McGonagall's creation. To be ten feet tall and so lifelike—such superb shapeshifting skills could only be achieved by Professor McGonagall among all the wizards present.

From this perspective, the subsequent rain of knives and forks clearly came from Professor Flitwick.

If Professor Sprout hadn't gone to protect the children, would he still be able to see the devil's net covering the camp...?

But speaking of which, can you carry a plant like the Devil's Web with you?

Ignoring the Death Eaters' march, Siron quickly reached the other side of the camp.

But here, he still couldn't find any trace of Barty Crouch Jr., and none of the house-elves he saw were shiny.

Perhaps he could go with Harry, and that way he should be able to find Barty Crouch Jr.

Xilun thought to himself, but quickly shook his head.

No, he remembered that Harry hadn't actually encountered Barty Crouch Jr., but had just happened to be nearby when he cast the Dark Mark.

Furthermore, with Professor Sprout protecting them, Celen couldn't say for sure whether they would encounter Barty Crouch Jr. again.

Well, whatever, I'll go take a look first.

Xilun turned around again, jumped onto the [Soul Weapon Codex], and flew towards the forest.

As she passed a group of teenagers in their pajamas, a little witch stared wide-eyed and suddenly stopped in her tracks.

“Don’t stop, Aurora.” Another little girl with thick curls turned to look at her and said quickly in French, “Hurry up, we need to find Ms. Maxim first.”

“Gabrielle, I saw a cat flying,” the little girl named Aurora said blankly.

"Cats can't fly!" another person looked over and said impatiently, "I bet you're still half asleep!"

"No, I saw the cat sitting on a flying book."

"But books don't fly either."

"But I really saw it."

The two argued.

Gabrielle peeked in the direction Aurora was pointing.

But there was nothing there except for a mess and embers that hadn't been completely extinguished.

“You must be tired, Aurora. But we must find Ms. Maxim first; it’s too dangerous here.”

Seeing that everyone was saying the same thing, the little girl named Aurora also began to doubt whether she had really seen things wrong.

And if you think about it carefully, how could a book possibly fly in the sky, let alone carry a cat?

Meanwhile, Celen was unaware that he had been discovered, but even if he did, it didn't matter. With so many wizards from various countries watching the Quidditch World Cup, a flying book was nothing to be alarmed about.

Also, because there are many people, there is no need to worry about anyone suspecting him.

By this time, he had already flown into the woods.

But finding Harry in such a vast forest is no easy task.

Xiren followed the dark path deeper and deeper into the forest, where he found a group of goblins chattering and laughing over a bag of gold coins, seemingly indifferent to the commotion at the camp. Two of the goblins even had a gloating look in their eyes.

At that moment, the [Soul Weapon Codex] floating next to Xilun suddenly flipped through several pages rapidly.

Then, a beam of red light shot out from the pages of the book and landed directly on the open ground among the fairies, making a loud bang.

"boom!"

The sudden explosion spell sent all the fairies flying, leaving a large crater in the ground and snapping several trees in half.

Because they weren't directly hit by the blasting spell, the fairies were lucky enough to survive.

But the bag of gold coins couldn't escape; it scattered in the explosion, golden Galon raining down and scattering across the ground. Even the bag containing the Galon was nowhere to be found.

The fairies scrambled to their feet like madmen, ignoring their own injuries, and frantically picked up all the Galon pieces on the ground.

Even so, dozens of Galon were still missing, their whereabouts unknown after being blown up.

The goblins couldn't take it anymore and started cursing at the troublemaking Death Eaters.

Meanwhile, deep in the woods.

Xilun weighed the tattered cloth bag in his hand, stuffed it into his morphing lizard skin bag, and then transformed into a cat again.

The further you go in, the more lively the woods become.

Siren stepped into a soft, silvery light. At first, he thought it was the color of moonlight shining on the open ground, but as he got closer, he realized it was three slender and beautiful Veela. The moonlight shone on their silvery-white hair, giving off a hazy glow.

They stood in the open space, surrounded by a group of young wizards, all speaking in loud voices... or rather, boasting about themselves.

"I can earn a hundred bags of gold coins a year."

"I work for the Dangerous Animals Disposal Committee, specializing in the slaughter of dragons!"

"Bullshit! You just wash dishes at the Leaky Cauldron... I'm the one who hunts vampires, and I've already killed over ninety!"

Without exception, these people all wanted to attract the Veela's attention in this way.

Veela initially found it interesting, until at one point, they almost simultaneously turned their heads to look at a black cat that had emerged from the corner.

There's nothing special about black cats; they've seen many cats with different eye colors before.

But this time was different; that yellow eye made them instinctively feel fear.

Subconsciously, the Veela revealed their true forms. Their faces began to elongate, turning into pointed bird heads, and a pair of long, scale-covered wings sprouted from their shoulders.

The young wizards who had just been boasting about how powerful they were and how they dared to take the Killing Curse head-on suddenly came to their senses.

They screamed in terror at the sight of the Veela and scattered in all directions.
