Hogwarts: Don't call me Wandmaker

Chapter 92 Everyone on board

Chapter 92 Everyone on board (seeking first order, monthly ticket)

Fred and George were soon called away by Lee Jordan, who seemed to have gotten something good again, as his pockets were bulging and moving.

Hermione and Ginny did not return to the original carriage, but sat down here. Hermione was concentrating on listening to Ron describe the trouble he had just encountered at the station.

She arrived early and didn't know that the entrance to Platform 9 was blocked, so she was shocked when she heard it.

She couldn't imagine how terrible it would be to be late for the first day of school.

"But why is the platform blocked?"

"Good question, that's what I want to know." Ron rubbed his forehead. Like Harry, he bumped hard into the partition wall.

If the cart hadn't blocked it, he might have had a scar on his forehead.

"This was the Ministry's mistake. The school cannot expel you."

"Of course the school can't expel us because we caught the train."

"Have you ever thought about what to do if you miss the train?" Hermione asked suddenly.

This question immediately aroused everyone's interest.

"Go home and wait until tomorrow," Ginny said first, with another quick glance at Harry.

If everyone goes home, will Harry also go back to the Burrow? She wondered in her heart, not daring to look up.

"Let Dad drive us there," Ron continued, his face full of excitement. "I've been wanting to try out the flying function of that car for a long time."

Mr. Weasley owns a Ford Anglia and has added many special features to it, such as expanding the interior space and making it capable of flying.

It was in it that Fred and George flew to Little Whinging on Privet Drive during the holidays to rescue Harry from the attic.

Ron has always wanted to drive it himself again.

"Well, take the Knight Bus?" Harry whispered. This was all he knew, from what Siren had told him before.

"Oh, seriously, I'd rather be late for a whole day than take the Knight Bus to school." Ron frowned. "Siron, is there no other way?"

"Yes," said Siren, "Go to the Ministry of Magic and apply for a portkey to Hogsmeade, or just use the Floo Network. If you explain your reasons, they will definitely not refuse."

"That's good." Ron said with a smile.

This is also the most reliable method at present.

"Wait a minute, hasn't any of you ever thought about writing to the professors?" Hermione looked at them in disbelief, then glanced at Hedwig in the cage.

"Harry, you just have an owl."

"I, I forgot." Harry said a little embarrassedly. He really didn't expect to ask the professor for help.

After that, everyone continued to discuss enthusiastically. If they encountered a similar situation in the future, these experiences might come in handy.

At noon, a fat witch pushed a cart past their carriage. Harry hurriedly bought a lot of snacks, more than last year, and the table was full.

He really likes these snacks, but there are none at school, so he can only buy more on the train.

But this was not considered lunch. Mrs. Weasley had prepared ham sandwiches for them in advance, and Siren was also given one, which tasted pretty good.

"You're lucky Mom didn't make corned beef sandwiches today," said Ron, who seemed to dislike corned beef.

Siren also took out the butterbeer he had bought at the Leaky Cauldron. He had originally wanted to buy lunch, but he couldn't stand the garlic smell that filled the carriage, so he gave up. Butterbeer was obviously more popular than the iced pumpkin juice. Three full bottles were quickly divided among the five of them. Paired with ham sandwiches and cauldron cake for dessert, it could barely be considered a hearty lunch.

After lunch, everyone played Wizard Chess and Crackling Explosion Cards together for a while.

Xi Lun had no interest at first, but after losing to Ron twice in a row, he gradually became addicted.

The sky outside was getting darker and darker, and the temperature in the car was getting much lower.

Outside the window, one could already vaguely see the corner towers and turrets of Hogwarts Castle standing on the top of the high cliff on the dark horizon in the distance.

A yellow light came on in the dim carriage.

"We're almost there," said Hermione, remembering that the train had arrived not long after the lights came on last year.

"The train will arrive at Hogwarts in five minutes. Please leave your luggage on the train..."

A familiar broadcasting voice sounded, and Harry and his friends cleaned up the table and hurriedly put on their Hogwarts uniform robes.

The train arrived at the station and they got off the train, jostling among the crowded crowd.

"First grade, first graders, come over here..."

Harry subconsciously followed Ginny to Hagrid, and then met the clear eyes of the freshmen and Hagrid's puzzled gaze.

"Harry, you've gone the wrong way." Siren grabbed his arm and pulled him back. "You're in your second year now, you don't need to take a boat."

"Sorry, I forgot." Harry lowered his head and ran to Ron's side. "Why didn't you remind me?"

"I didn't expect you to be so quick," Ron said. Harry walked towards Hagrid as soon as he got out of the car, and he really didn't react.

After separating from Ginny here, they followed more people towards another bumpy and muddy path, where there were at least a hundred carriages parked... or rather, carriages?
"Looks like we should take it to the castle." Hermione noticed some senior students boarding the carriage.

A carriage could just accommodate four people, and after they all got in, it began to sway forward.

"It's amazing that it can move by itself." Harry said in surprise.

"It must be magic," said Hermione. "Just like last year's boat, not many of us can row it, right?"

Harry nodded, thinking it made sense.

The carriage passed through two imposing wrought iron gates and drove along the long uphill drive, getting closer and closer to the castle.

Finally, the carriage stopped and Xi Lun was the first to get off. He just happened to see the Whomping Willow not far away.

The Whomping Willow was still very quiet in the moonlight, occasionally shaking its leaves as if it was stretching.

Xi Lun suddenly realized something.

If Harry and Ron hadn't boarded the train that morning, they would have been driving their flying Ford Anglia into the Whomping Willow by now.

How many branches would be broken by that? Maybe there would even be a main trunk. If I were to stand by and pick them all up...

Oh, no, I can't think about it anymore.

Xi Lun felt his heart bleeding and stood there in a daze until Professor McGonagall came over and urged them to go in quickly. Only then did he walk into the castle, looking back every few steps.
