Dragon Clan: Avoid the College Entrance Examination to Slay the Dragon
Chapter 59: Separate Night
Chapter 59: Night Talk
Gu Yi sank into the snow-white pillow, staring at the ceiling and repeating: "Can't I be discharged now?"
Chu Zihang put the greasy lunch box into the trash bag and continued to wipe the bedside table with disinfectant wipes. "If you eat less fried chicken, you might get out sooner."
Gu Yi's face flushed. "I only tried two pieces. It was mostly Finger who grabbed the cakes."
"Maybe."
Chu Zihang folded the wet wipes into a neat square and threw them into the trash can, then turned around and began to tidy up the crooked fruit basket on the windowsill.
Gu Yi stared at his brother's meticulous back and decided to change the subject: "How was your class today, brother?"
"It went very smoothly. I took the Kendo elective class today. The teacher was great." Chu Zihang arranged the apples and oranges by color.
"Which teacher?"
"Principal, he's in a very good mood today and came to teach a class unexpectedly."
"Principal Ange?" the young man suddenly raised his upper body. "Did you practice sparring with the principal?"
"Of course," Chu Zihang adjusted the ribbon knot of the last fruit basket. "Someone challenged the principal during class, and the principal agreed, but he had to fight ten times."
"We have to fight against ten people at the same time? What will be the result?" Gu Yi's eyes lit up.
"Nine people fell to the ground instantly," Chu Zihang turned around, "I blocked a blow and was then knocked out of the field."
Gu Yi swallowed his saliva: "Terrible."
The battle record was terrible, but he was not surprised at all. The old man's strength was as deep as an iceberg on the sea, and no one knew how much more there was underwater.
"The principal was very happy that I could take his blow and said he would ask the equipment department to customize a weapon for me," said Chu Zihang.
"Have you chosen a weapon type?"
"I've chosen it, the katana."
"Tachi?" Gu Yi blurted out, then laughed at himself, "That makes sense, brother, you've been practicing kendo since you were a child..."
"Yeah." Chu Zihang interrupted him, "The Equipment Department said they would refer to the ancient forging method."
"The katana is a very interesting weapon..." Gu Yi sighed. "I really like using it in Monster Hunter P2G. I remember domestic forums saying that life without a katana is relatively unsuccessful."
"I don't understand games." Chu Zihang said expressionlessly.
Gu Yi sighed: "Brother, you are always as tense as a bow. You should loosen the string occasionally."
Chu Zihang didn't say anything, he just tucked the corner of the quilt that had slipped back to the edge of the bed, and then sat down on the edge of the bed.
"Brother, have you eaten?" Gu Yi looked at Chu Zihang.
"I'll go to the cafeteria later." Chu Zihang suddenly said, "I have something to ask you."
"What?" Gu Yi was a little surprised.
"What is your relationship with Vivian?"
"What..." Gu Yi had a bad feeling.
Chu Zihang took out his cell phone from his coat pocket and the lock screen lit up. The title "Midnight Clinic of the Sickly Junior and the Beautiful Senior" was glaringly red on the screen, and the accompanying picture was the silhouette of Vivian leaning over to adjust the infusion rate.
"Those bastards sent it. I'll ask Finkel to block them all!" Gu Yi gritted his teeth and reached for the phone under the pillow.
"So you're not together."
"Of course! Senior Sister and I have only known each other for less than two weeks! I'm fine, but this kind of gossip is too rude to a girl."
"You're right." Chu Zihang nodded.
"Brother..." Gu Yi suddenly laughed out loud, his voice particularly clear in the silent ward, "Can you stop gossiping so seriously? I can't see you can hold it in any longer."
"Okay." Chu Zihang nodded again, "Do you remember when I said I had something to tell you on the plane?"
"remember."
"It's just right now. Do you want to listen?" Gu Yi looked at Chu Zihang's profile and nodded slowly.
-
Su Yuqing lay on the soft duvet, "Wow, Senior Sister, your and Gu Yi's posts have flooded the forum!"
The hum of the hair dryer stopped abruptly. Vivian shook her hair. "Isn't it like this every year at this time? My rumored boyfriend and I, a traditional show."
"Who made you the daughter of a wealthy family?" Su Yuqing rolled over and sank into the cloud-like pile of pillows. "With a distinguished family background and breathtaking beauty, you deserve to live in the eye of the gossip storm."
"It's useless." Vivian chuckled. "In the eyes of those European nobles, our family is just a North American upstart."
"Hey!" Su Yuqing rolled to the edge of the bed with a smile, "I don't understand the aristocratic tricks. We haven't played aristocratic tricks since the end of the Tang Dynasty!"
Vivian's fingertips brushed against the chandelier switch, and the room instantly sank into darkness. "It's rare for me to have you here tonight, but I'm not here to discuss this."
Su Yuqing propped up her chin and asked, "Are all your roommates out on field work?"
"Yeah, they were just captured by the Enforcement Bureau and forced to do hard labor. They're said to be in charge of logistics. It's so tiring!"
"Alas, my cousin was forced to do hard labor at the beginning of this semester." Su Yuqing's voice was muffled by the feather pillow.
"Oh? Where did you go on the mission?"
"I don't know, it seems to be in China."
Vivian patted the girl and said, "What about your cousin's wife?"
"What?" The girl suddenly laughed out loud. "They're not really together yet, but they're on a mission together."
"From the freshman challenge to the intra-campus competition, they've been competing for three years." She looked out the window. "They'll definitely be together. It's just a matter of time."
"During that mission in Mexico this year..." Su Yuqing's voice suddenly softened. "Did my brother lead you through the bloody battle? Otherwise, you would have been finished before you could even get rescued?"
"Yes, your cousin and your prospective cousin-in-law are both very capable," Vivian sighed. "In the end, someone was needed to cover the retreat, and they almost came to blows."
Su Yuqing suddenly grabbed a silk pillow and covered her face with it. "Men, they're always so twisted." Her eyes suddenly widened. "Wait! Why did the topic veer off so completely?"
The moonlight just happened to pass over the corners of Vivian's lips at this moment. "Okay, what do you want to ask?"
"Senior Sister, are you interested in Gu Yi?"
Vivian was stunned. "I'm just a little curious about him. It's too much to fall for him after just a few meetings. I'm not a love-brained person!"
"But even wise people take risks for love." Su Yuqing shook her legs. "Now the odds on the forums are over 100. They say you two are handsome and beautiful, a perfect match..."
A fluffy feather pillow flew through the air, and the two rolled into a ball, laughing and joking. Vivian's cold fingertips dug into the other's clothes: "I'll let you plot against me again!"
"I was wrong, I was wrong!" Su Yuqing panted and begged for mercy. "Seriously, Senior Sister is obviously very capable, why is she always acting like an idler around campus lately?"
The air suddenly stagnated. Vivian pulled back the brocade curtains, the moonlight fading from her eyes like a tide. "It was too dangerous last time. If rescue hadn't arrived in time, we would have suffered heavy casualties. That's why the family pressured the Executive Bureau to ban me from participating in field missions, even though my words aren't suitable for direct combat."
"I envy you. My family is so eager for me to go collect the bounty on the head of the next generation of seedlings tomorrow. They've made me work so hard to earn credits just so I can go out and kill people more often in my junior year."
"Don't worry. Now that an S-rank has appeared, you can just cling to him."
Su Yuqing suddenly raised her upper body, "Wow - Senior Sister really cares about him!"
"Su! Yu! Qing!" The three words burst out from between her teeth, Vivian's fingertips sinking into the velvet quilt, "I really shouldn't have been soft on you!"
"I'm wrong, I'm wrong, haha!" The girl's plea was mixed with laughter.
Vivian's cool fingertips had already found her waist. The silk pillows on the bed fluttered.
"I'm going to die." Su Yuqing panted and grabbed the other's wrist, and the lace shoulder strap slid down to the crook of her arm. "I still have classes tomorrow! Just let me go!"
Vivian's fingertips were still hooked around a strand of the girl's black hair. "If you dare tease me with forum gossip again, I'll do more than just tickle you next time."
In the silence filled with subtle fragrance, Su Yuqing looked at the beautiful face hanging in front of her and murmured softly: "I know, my eldest lady."
