After spending two or three days with his girlfriend Barbara in Nashville and dealing with some police matters, Dick once again used the pretext of a business trip to return to the gloomy Gotham City.

Because his father needed to work with the Justice League to finish up the incident, Dick was temporarily called back to fill in. Of course, filling in was secondary; the main purpose was for him to keep an eye on his younger brothers.

"Good evening, Mr. Dick."

Before Dick could even speak as he entered the kitchen, Alfred, who had been facing away from him, humming an English tune as he prepared a late-night snack, spoke first, as if he had anticipated Dick's arrival.

As the butler who trained Batman and the fifth Robin, Alfred naturally remembers the footsteps and breathing rhythm of every member of the Bat-Family very clearly. He doesn't even need to look back to know who is behind him.

"Good evening, Alfred. You seem to be in a good mood today."

Seeing Alfred's long-lost relaxed and cheerful demeanor, Dick felt his own frustration at being assigned to look after his younger siblings ease slightly.

"Hmm~ After all, there have been quite a few good things lately. By the way, Young Master Dick, your damaged Neon Nightwing armor has been repaired and is in your original equipment cabinet. If you're leaving this time, you can take it with you."

Because he was still processing the ingredients, Alfred didn't turn around. He just smiled and answered, then seemed to suddenly remember something and spoke again.

The Neon Nightwing armor, which was severely damaged in the previous battle against the Three Palaces Demon, has finally been completely repaired and its performance has been greatly improved thanks to the efforts of Wayne Corporation's research department.

"No, I've already thought about it, I understand."

Having experienced Valbarado, Dick no longer needed the Neon Nightwing armor. However, just as he subconsciously reached behind him to take out the Valbarado wrench sword to show Alfred, he grabbed nothing.

It was only at this moment that he suddenly remembered that when the two worlds were reunited, the wrench sword that was supposed to be used by him had somehow ended up in Cassandra's hands.

Moreover, judging from the situation, Cassandra has already made the wrench her property, and as the older brother, Dick naturally cannot take things from his younger sister, so he can only pick up the Neon Armor again to use.

"By the way, Mr. Dick, there's still some time before we finish our supper. Mr. Damian is currently in the Batcave. You can take this time to take him out for a walk. If you run into Mr. Jason, Mr. Tim, or Miss Stephanie, please let them know it's about time they come back for supper."

Seeing Dick approaching, seemingly intending to help, Alfred raised an eyebrow and, in a rather tactful manner, offered him another task: helping to look after the youngest child of the Bat family.

After the kitchen battle with his kids on Christmas Eve last year, Alfred never dared to let his little ones touch the kitchen again. Of course, not even Mr. Wayne, who almost blew the kitchen up.

Faced with Alfred's somewhat forceful attitude, Dick could only scratch his head sheepishly and obediently leave the kitchen as Alfred requested, heading towards the manor's study, intending to take a certain child out for a stroll and, incidentally, look for his three younger siblings who were wandering around somewhere.

After entering a password that was of unknown update number, the bookshelf opened automatically, revealing a passage leading to an underground bat cave. I walked down the familiar passage.

Passing through the display cases of various Batsuits and Robin suits from different eras, past the mechanical dinosaurs guarding the Batcave, and the letter Bruce had specially preserved in a glass case, addressed to: "To my dearest son—Thomas Wayne," Dick quickly arrived near the Batcave's supercomputer without pausing. There he saw Damian, who was currently sitting with his hands crossed under his chin, imitating Bruce, using the Batcomputer to monitor the entire Gotham City.

"You came."

"Yes, I'm coming."

"You shouldn't have come!"

Still sitting calmly in front of the computer, Damian noticed his older brother approaching, but he didn't turn around. Instead, he suddenly spoke and then started a rather inexplicable conversation with Dick.

"Have you been reading any strange books lately?"

After a moment of silence, Dick suddenly strode forward to Damian, then reached out and placed his hand on Damian's head, ruffling his hair quite forcefully.

"Aren't you in Nashville with Barbara? Why are you back in Gotham?"

After enjoying his older brother's affectionate gesture for a moment, Damian slapped his hand away, crossed his arms, and spoke with a rather arrogant air.

"I had some urgent business to take care of, so I came back. It's still early, would you like to go out for a walk with me?"

Dick, who was already used to his younger brother's occasional arrogance, waved his hand dismissively at Damian's slapping of his hand. After quickly making up an excuse to answer Damian's question, he extended an invitation to him.

"Hmm~ Since you've invited me, I'll go out with you for a stroll."

With his arms still crossed over his chest, Damian had already moved away from the chair and stood face to face with Dick. After pretending to think for a moment, he nodded slightly and said...

If we were to ask who Damian, aside from his father Bruce, most enjoys patrolling with in the Bat-family, the first name that comes to mind would undoubtedly be Dick.

“Let’s set off now, and while we’re at it, let’s find Stephanie and the other two. Alfred wants them to come back for a midnight snack.”

Dick saw through Damian's actions clearly, but he didn't expose his brother's hypocrisy. Instead, he greeted him with a smile.

However, when talking about Alfred's request for help in finding someone, Dick cleverly avoided mentioning his two younger brothers' names. Instead, he first mentioned Stephanie's name and then used "them" to refer to Jason and Tim, his two younger brothers.
