Uncle Jiu: I am Chen Yulou, the leader of the Xiangling gang
Chapter 13, Become a disciple of Uncle 9
Chapter 13, Become a disciple of Uncle Nine
After saying this, Zhe Gu walked out of the lobby with a cold face.
Seeing Zhe Gu leave, Taoist Simu quickly looked at Uncle Jiu and said, "Brother, Junior Sister loves you so much, why are you so heartless?"
Uncle Jiu immediately glanced at Taoist Simu and sighed, "Junior brother, how can you force feelings? I don't have any romantic feelings for you."
"Forget it, forget about her!"
Then, Uncle Jiu sat down and asked, "Have other junior brothers contacted you recently?"
"Have!"
Taoist Simu nodded, and then the two of them started chatting.
At the same time, Chen Yulou, who was walking out of the kitchen with a teapot, saw Zhe Gu leaving angrily, and knew that Uncle Jiu had angered Zhe Gu away again.
However, it seems that in "Mr. Vampire", the two got married directly, so it can be said that Uncle Jiu and this uncle Zhegu are destined to be together, but the fate has not arrived yet.
So, Chen Yulou just watched Zhe Gu leave and walked towards the lobby with tea.
After a while, Wencai and Qiu Sheng came back carrying large and small bags.
"What's going on? When did one dollar buy so many things?"
In the lobby, Uncle Jiu stared at Wencai and Qiu Sheng with sharp eyes.
Wencai's eyes suddenly avoided.
Qiu Sheng looked at Chen Yulou.
Chen Yulou immediately looked at Uncle Jiu and said, "Senior, it's like this. Since I'm your disciple, I naturally want to show some appreciation."
Qiu Sheng quickly agreed, "That's right, Master. The five offerings are made to the ancestors in heaven, so naturally they can't be bad. Moreover, it is also my sincere gratitude to the ancestors."
Taoist Simu glanced at Chen Yulou and smiled at Uncle Jiu, saying, "Brother, you've truly found a good disciple. If the ancestors in heaven knew that Junior Brother Yulou was so filial, they would surely be very happy and bestow upon him a high-level 薩."
When Uncle Jiu heard what Taoist Simu said, his anger instantly disappeared, and he showed a little complacency. After all, Chen Yulou's action really made him look good. Then, he looked at Chen Yulou with a smile and said, "Yulou, you are thoughtful!"
Then, Uncle Jiu said again: "It's getting late, let's start the ceremony and learn from the master!"
"Put out the five offerings!"
"Yes, master!"
Wencai and Qiu Sheng hurriedly took out the five offerings they bought in town, and Qiu Sheng handed them to Uncle Jiu.
The first of the five offerings is incense.
"A pillar of fragrance penetrates the sky, and thousands of auspicious lights illuminate the universe."
In Taoism, incense plays a very important role. Incense can be smelled throughout the infinite world and is a medium for communicating with the truth and spirits.
Uncle Jiu took the three incense sticks as thick as a baby's fist with a solemn expression, lit them, and inserted them into the incense burner on the bill.
The second of the five offerings is to offer flowers.
Offering flowers to the gods brings a delicate fragrance to the majestic and solemn atmosphere of the temple, which can purify the body and mind and make one more respectful to the gods.
Uncle Jiu took a bundle of fragrant peonies and placed them on the incense table with a solemn expression.
The third of the five offerings is the offering of lamps.
Offering lamps is one of the important ways of making offerings in Taoism. Lighting lamps can reach up to the infinite sky and down to the underworld, which is a supreme merit.
Uncle Jiu took a seven-star lamp, placed it on the bill, and then lit it.
The fourth of the five offerings is water.
Taoism calls the water offered to the altar "Seven Treasures Juice", which symbolizes wisdom, blessings and purity.
Uncle Jiu placed seven teacups on the incense table, took an iron kettle, and filled the seven teacups.
I heard that this water is spring water that Wencai collected from the nearby mountains. This kind of water can be called pure water.
The fifth offering of the Five Offerings is the offering of fruit.
Offering fruit is one of the important ways of making offerings in Taoism. It symbolizes the achievement of immortality, early ascension to the immortal world, and perfection.
Wencai and Qiusheng bought a few large, round peaches. As the saying goes, "The Queen Mother of the West holds a peach banquet in the Yaochi Lake," peaches were the perfect fruit for the offering.
Uncle Jiu took the offering and placed it respectfully on the bill.
After the five offerings were completed, Taoist Simu, Chen Yulou, Wencai Qiu Sheng and the other four came behind Uncle Jiu, and kowtowed three times to the statue of the ancestor on the incense table with expressions of piety and respect.
After the ceremony, Uncle Jiu saluted again and said confidently, "Yimei, the 54th generation disciple of Maoshan Sect, accepts Chen Yulou as his personal disciple."
"Disciple Chen Yulou, born into a scholarly family, possesses a pure and kind nature, is loyal and honest, and is extremely filial. I possess unparalleled talent... I now enter my school as the 55th generation disciple. I ask Heaven and Earth to bear witness to this, and all the ancestors to bear witness."
After he finished speaking, Uncle Jiu lit three incense sticks, turned to look at Chen Yulou and said, "Yulou, from now on, you will be my direct disciple."
"In my Maoshan lineage, the first commandment is to fight against good and evil for a lifetime!"
"Second commandment: disrespect teachers!"
"Three prohibitions against killing without reason!"
"Four abstentions: adultery, stealing, and adultery!"
"Five precepts to denigrate the virtuous and promote oneself!"
"Sixth Commandment hesitates!"
"Seventh Abuse of Power for Personal Benefits!"
"Pigsy is blaspheming!"
"Nine Commandments: Friends and Evildoers!"
"The Ten Commandments are bad at accepting apprentices and leaking secrets!"
"Yulou, do you remember?"
Chen Yulou immediately replied, "Master, please rest assured. I will keep this in mind!"
"Okay, burn incense and kowtow to the ancestors!"
Uncle Jiu smiled and handed three incense sticks to Chen Yulou.
After Chen Yulou took the incense, he burned it with a solemn expression, then knelt down and kowtowed three times.
Uncle Jiu reached out and helped Chen Yulou up, saying, "Yulou, the next step is to open the altar and confer the Dharma. Remember, the order of the Dharma and the faith must not be messed up."
Uncle Jiu was quite nervous about giving Chen Yulou the art of luan. After all, it was his first time to do so. Secondly, it had been more than twenty years since he himself gave the art of luan.
Chen Yulou also knew how important Shulu was to a Taoist priest, so he immediately nodded and said, "Master, please rest assured, there will be no mistakes!"
"Okay, let's start the lecture!" Uncle Jiu took a deep breath and said.
Immediately, Taoist Simu took Wencai and Qiu Sheng away, leaving only Uncle Jiu and Chen Yulou standing in front of the incense table.
Uncle Jiu drew out the peach wood sword that was placed on the incense table, stepped on the magic steps, and began to perform the ritual. The smoke rose straight to the ceiling of the hall.
Suddenly, Uncle Jiu turned to look at Chen Yulou and shouted, "Send the Dharma letter!!!"
Chen Yulou immediately began to place the Dharma letters on the incense table in the order instructed by Uncle Jiu.
As they were delivered, Chen Yulou counted them until the last one was delivered. There were thirty-six Dharma letters in total, large and small.
When Uncle Jiu saw that Chen Yulou had not made any mistakes, the tension in his heart completely disappeared. He put the peach wood sword back and immediately took out a yellow paper book from his arms. This was the petition he had prepared in advance.
Uncle Jiu straightened his body, stood in front of the incense table, opened the petition, and recited it silently quickly.
It took Uncle Jiu more than ten minutes to finish reciting the petition silently, then he stepped forward, lit the petition, and placed it in the incense burner.
Then, Uncle Jiu looked at Chen Yulou solemnly and said, "Yulou, kneel down!"
Upon hearing this, Chen Yulou immediately knelt in front of the incense table and kowtowed to the ground.
Uncle Jiu spoke again in a loud voice, "Welcome all the ancestors. Please bless your disciple Chen Yulou and grant him a good talisman!"
In an instant, the entire hall fell silent. Taoist Simu stared at the statue of the ancestor, and Uncle Jiu was no exception. As for Wencai and Qiu Sheng, although they were a little confused, they didn't dare to breathe.
The only one who was not nervous was probably Chen Yulou. After all, he really didn't care much, because being awarded the title of Duke of Lu was just a recognition of his identity and had nothing to do with his own strength.
