Yan Hui drove Li and Liu Jianlei to the entrance, chatting and laughing along the way.

Seeing that Yan Hui and Liu Jianlei were quite familiar with each other, Captain Li insisted that Yan Hui treat him to a meal. Yan Hui thought it would be a good thing for Liu Jianlei as well, so he agreed.

"Wait a minute, what's in the car?" As soon as they arrived at the gate, the security guard immediately stopped Yan Hui's car.

"Weigh the steel structural components on the scale by the door," Yan Hui explained.

"Did you take this from the construction site? Did you buy it or rent it?" the security guard asked again.

"I bought it," Yan Hui said calmly.

"Bought it? Who did you pay? Where's the receipt?" the security guard pressed.

"These steel parts are worth very little, don't ask anymore, just open the door." Team Leader Li was somewhat displeased. He didn't know Yan Hui, but the person who called him was his direct supervisor, who had said that Yan Hui was a good friend of his supervisor's supervisor and that he must be taken seriously. Now that Yan Hui was being harassed even to go out, he was bound to speak up.

"Captain Li, you can't say that. If you take things out of the construction site, you need a receipt, right?" The security guard, who seemed to have some kind of courage, didn't give Captain Li any face.

"I'm coming in and out, and I don't need to explain to you about such a small amount of stuff!" Captain Li jumped out of the car angrily, and Liu Jianlei followed suit.

This means we need to take action.

Before the conflict could escalate further, the two men who had been patrolling earlier ran over, the tall, thin one shouting, "What are you doing! What are you trying to do!"

After running over and catching his breath, the tall, thin man asked, "What happened?"

"They were pulling things out from inside. I asked to see the receipt, but they didn't have one, and they were even about to hit me!" The security guard perked up immediately when he saw that his backer had arrived.

"Old Sun, we're going to weigh ourselves. It's right at the entrance. If you have any questions, you can come with us to weigh yourself." Team Leader Li gave the patrol officers some face when he saw them arrive.

"Old Li, are you saying that if we hadn't come today, you would have just taken us away?" the tall, thin man asked.

"I told him I was going to weigh the animals, and anyone who wants to come along can. Old Sun, what's wrong with you? Why are you talking so rudely?" Team Leader Li was also angry. "Are you guys so free now?"

"Without an order, don't even think about taking the goods out! I'll have a point no matter where you go!"

"Captain Li, stop talking," Yan Hui stopped Captain Li and looked at Lao Sun. "Forget it, I'll unload the goods and we'll talk about it later. It's not easy to see Brother Jianlei today, there's no need to cause a conflict."

"Is this your brother?" Old Sun immediately perked up upon hearing this.

He had certainly met Liu Jianlei before and knew he was just a suspended platform worker. He had been worried about who Yan Hui was, but now that he heard Yan Hui call Liu Jianlei "brother," he was instantly in high spirits.

"Does this concern you too?" Yan Hui glanced at Lao Sun.

"How is this none of my business? You lot, without a single leader giving the order, just wanted to haul away such valuable stuff. I think you're trying to embezzle construction site assets! Now that you see I'm here, you want to unload the goods and settle things? Let me tell you, no way!" Old Sun pointed at the security guard. "We can't let him just leave like that! I think they were the ones who did the cable theft last time!"

"Then call the police." Yan Hui shook his head slightly when he saw that Liu Jianlei was about to take action.

"What do you mean?" Old Sun was stunned for a moment. Yan Hui said what he was going to say, leaving him a little confused.

"What do you think this place is!" Old Sun's henchman stepped forward and kicked Yan Hui.

"You're asking for it!" As soon as Liu Jianlei saw Yan Hui being kicked, he jumped up and pinned the man to the ground.

"You dare to hit someone?" The tall, thin man immediately stepped forward and pushed Liu Jianlei, but Liu Jianlei turned around and pinned him to the ground, pinning down two people at once. The security guards were stunned and immediately started shouting for backup.

Yan Hui was also stunned. He prided himself on never being afraid of anyone in a fight, but he never expected his brother to be such a good fighter. It was true that being strong and powerful was worth it.

Soon, a crowd gathered, but no one came forward to break up the fight. Old Sun and his companion already had a bad reputation in the area, and no matter how much they cried out, no one came to their aid; they were simply held down by one person.

Then, Li's team leader and many other people from the construction site arrived, and Liu Jianlei finally released the man.

"What happened?" asked Team Leader Li.

"They stole things, we caught them, and then they beat us up!" Old Sun said angrily.

"Is that how it is?" the leader asked, looking at Captain Li.

"Mr. Zhan, this is Mr. Yan, whom you instructed. We had some goods and wanted to go out to weigh them, but these people blocked us from leaving. Mr. Yan said that if we couldn't leave, we should unload the goods. They accused us of being thieves and even kicked Mr. Yan," Captain Li explained.

"Is this Mr. Yan?" Mr. Zhan immediately ran over and carefully examined Yan Hui's body. He noticed a gray stain on his pants and immediately apologized, "Mr. Yan, I'm so sorry! Oh my god... who kicked you? Who!"

Mr. Zhan immediately flew into a rage, looked around and shouted loudly, but no one responded.

"Xiao Li, who kicked him? How dare you attack without even knowing the facts?" Boss Zhan shouted again.

"Let them talk about it themselves," Captain Li said, too lazy to bring it up again.

"He kicked him! He kicked him!" The tall, thin old Sun immediately betrayed his henchman, "I don't know what got into him, he actually did it on his own!"

The henchman was stunned for a moment, looked at Old Sun in disbelief, opened his mouth to speak, but couldn't say anything.

"Fire this guy immediately! I don't want to see him again tomorrow!" Manager Zhan glanced at Old Sun. "This is my opinion. Do you have any objections?"

"No objection, no objection," Old Sun said, bowing and scraping.

"Let's leave it at that for now, we'll talk about the rest later!" After saying that, General Manager Zhan turned to look at Yan Hui. "General Manager Yan, I'm really sorry, the people below were a bit impulsive! Do you have any other thoughts? Please tell me!"

"It's alright, Mr. Zhan handled it well. I'll talk to Mr. Liu about it later," Yan Hui said with a forced smile.

Mr. Zhan immediately sensed something was wrong and said, "Mr. Yan, there are some things I can't make decisions on. Don't worry, this matter is definitely not that simple. I will definitely explain it to the leadership and handle everything according to regulations!"

"Just do what needs to be done," Yan Hui said, glancing at Captain Li and Liu Jianlei. "Let's continue weighing."

Just as the three were about to drive away, Old Sun's henchman immediately objected and started fighting with Old Sun. As a result, no one intervened, and the two men got into a heated argument.

Yan Hui ignored all that, dusted off his pants, and went about his own business.

“Starting today, these two will definitely have to leave,” Captain Li said to Yan Hui after getting into the car.

“These two must have connections to be able to work in this position on the construction site. If they leave, you two will be the ones who suffer because of me. If you’re interested, you two can come with me.” Yan Hui drove off, extending an olive branch to Team Leader Li and Liu Jianlei.
