Chapter 104 Legendary Knight
Chapter 104 Legendary Knight
Robin's body seemed to be wrapped in an invisible force, and his speed, strength, and reaction ability were instantly elevated to a new level.
The two giant red wolves roared and pounced on Robin, their sharp fangs and claws flashing coldly, as if they wanted to tear him into pieces.
Robin simply swung the Damascus steel sword in his hand lightly, and the blade flashed like lightning. The two giant wolves were instantly cut in half, turning into a ball of red energy and dissipating in the air.
Anxi's face turned pale in an instant, and a look of disbelief flashed in his eyes.
He didn't expect that his strongest attack would be so easily resolved by Robin.
"This... this is impossible!" Anxi roared in a low voice, with a hint of despair in his tone.
Robin looked at him coldly, with a hint of sarcasm in his tone: "Knight Anxi, your strength is indeed good, but it is not enough to threaten me. Now, it's time to end it."
Before he finished speaking, Robin's figure appeared in front of Anxi like a ghost.
Before Anxi could react, Robin's Tang sword had already pierced his chest.
"You..." Anxi's eyes widened, blood gushing from his mouth. He looked down at the blade on his chest, a trace of resentment and anger flashing in his eyes.
Robin looked at him coldly, his tone carrying a hint of determination: "Knight Anxi, you are just a pawn. The Wizard Council, the Round Table Council, the Dark Wizards Pact... they are all using you. Now, you can rest in peace."
Anxi's body slowly fell down, and the light in his eyes gradually disappeared.
Robin drew out his Tang sword and looked at Anxi lying on the ground, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes.
"Master Allen!" Chamberlain's voice trembled slightly.
Robin suddenly asked, "Is anyone around?"
Chamberlain immediately understood. He was a knight trained by Viscount Wilk since childhood and was absolutely loyal to his family.
Chamberlain said, "No! The nearest farm is still several kilometers away, and this place is in the heart of the territory, so it's usually very safe."
Robin nodded, and very skillfully pulled off the equipment on Chamberlain's body, then dragged him to the woods, dug a hole and threw him in.
A small fireball was thrown on Anxi's body, igniting a raging fire. Only when the body was completely cremated did Robin let Chamberlain cover it with soil.
Robin stood at the edge of the grove, watching Chamberlain put the last shovel of soil on Anxi's ashes, but he didn't feel relieved at all.
Anxi's death is just the beginning, the Wizard Council will never let him off easily. And next, he will face even more severe challenges.
"Master Allen, what should we do next?" Chamberlain asked in a low voice, with a hint of worry in his tone.
Robin pondered for a moment, then whispered, "Chamberlain, what happened today must not be leaked. Anxi's death must remain a secret, otherwise the Wilk family will face a catastrophe."
Chamberlain nodded, his tone firm: "I understand, Master Allen. I will keep this a secret and never let anyone know about this."
Robin patted Chamberlain on the shoulder, his tone filled with gratitude: "Thank you, Chamberlain. You are the most loyal knight of the Wilk family. I believe in you. As long as you are loyal to the family, I don't mind training you to become a great knight, or even a legendary knight."
You will learn to make empty promises if you eat them too much.
Just then, there was the sound of horse hooves in the distance.
Robin quickly looked up to see several knights walking down the road towards them.
The leading knight was none other than Raymond, the captain of the knights stationed at the farm. "Master Allen!" Raymond called from afar, a hint of anxiety in his voice. "Are you alright? We heard you were on patrol here and haven't returned, so we came to check on you."
Robin quickly adjusted his expression and revealed a relaxed smile: "Captain Raymond, I'm fine. I just found some suspicious traces here, so I was delayed for some time."
Raymond breathed a sigh of relief, then looked around and asked in a low voice, "Suspicious traces? Do you need me to lead a search?"
Robin shook his head, his tone casual. "No need. I've checked it out. There's nothing serious. It might be traces left by wild animals. I'll have people increase patrols later."
Raymond nodded, then looked at Chamberlain and found that his equipment was a little messy. He couldn't help but frowned: "Chamberlain, what's wrong with your equipment?"
Chamberlain's heart tightened, but his face remained calm: "I accidentally fell in the woods just now, it's nothing serious."
Raymond didn't ask any more questions, just nodded: "That's good. Master Allen, since you are okay, we will go back first. There are still some things to take care of at the farm."
Robin nodded, his tone gentle, "Thank you for your hard work, Captain Raymond. You guys go back first. Chamberlain and I will check it out again and will be back soon."
Raymond left with several knights. Robin looked at their backs and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Chamberlain, let's go back." Robin whispered, with a hint of fatigue in his tone.
Chamberlain nodded, then followed Robin in the direction of the farm.
After completing his routine inspection of the farm, Robin returned to the manor without staying for too long. After all, he only had a vague understanding of farming.
The reason he went to inspect the farm was simply to let his father familiarize him with the territory's industry.
Early the next morning, members of the Wizarding Council arrived at the manor.
The leader was Nastah Wright.
"Alan Wilk Walter, we are members of the Wizard Council and have been ordered to arrest you." Nasda said coldly, with a hint of unquestionable majesty in his tone.
Robin's heart tightened, but his face remained calm: "Arrest me? What crime have I committed?"
Nashida sneered, his tone tinged with sarcasm. "You are suspected of colluding with the Dark Wizards Pact and endangering the security of the kingdom. Please come with us and be investigated."
Robin knew that the people from the Wizarding Council were obviously coming for him.
He quickly activated the "Dragon-Eating Breathing Technique", and the life force and magic power in his body surged at the same time, ready to fight at any time.
"What if I don't want to?" Robin said coldly, with a hint of coldness in his eyes.
Nashida's expression instantly darkened. He waved his hand, signaling his men to prepare for battle: "Then don't blame us for being rude."
The next second, Viscount Wilk led his knights to surround them.
"Sir, although the Wizard Council is powerful, this is the western part of the kingdom, not your southern part." Viscount Wilk said slowly, "If it was the legendary knight Anxi who came, he might be able to take my son away. But what about you?"
Viscountess Melita said coldly, "Without any evidence, you dare to go to the noble territory and arrest people at will? Who gave you the courage?"
At this time, she was also fully armed, holding a magic wand in her hand, silently looking at Nasda and the others, as if she was ready to take action at any time.
