Chapter 3 Guidance (Seeking Follow-up Reading)

Damia nodded slightly and continued, "I called you here because I have something important to tell you. The territory is about to face a greater crisis, and we need more brave warriors like you. I have decided to give you a chance for promotion."

When Robin heard this, his heart was shocked and a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes.

This is a great opportunity to change his destiny. As long as he seizes this opportunity, he will be one step closer to his dream of becoming a knight.

"Grand Knight Commander, I will definitely not let you down!" Robin said excitedly, his voice full of determination.

Damia looked at Robin's determined eyes and smiled with satisfaction. She had indeed been right about him.

"You must prepare well in the coming days. I will teach you the knight's breathing method and arrange for someone to train you to improve your strength. I hope that you can exert your full strength in the upcoming battle and make military achievements for the territory." Damia said earnestly.

"Yes! Grand Knight, I will do my best!" Robin patted his chest with his right hand again and responded loudly.

In the evening, the afterglow of the setting sun sprinkled on the militia camp like blood, covering the entire camp with a layer of golden gauze.

Robin was sitting in front of his tent, looking at the gradually fading sunset in the sky, his heart filled with longing and anxiety for the future.

Just then, a sound of orderly footsteps was heard. Robin looked up and saw a knight in fine armor walking towards him with steady steps.

This person was none other than Knight Malizzi, followed by two attendants holding an exquisite wooden box in their hands.

"You must be Robin! Gabriel's youngest son." Knight Malizzi walked up to Robin, looked at him gently, and spoke.

Robin quickly stood up and bowed respectfully, his eyes revealing a hint of nervousness and anticipation. "Greetings, Knight Commander."

Knight Malizzi nodded slightly and looked carefully at the young man in front of him.

He saw tenacity and desire in Robin's eyes, a persistent pursuit of strength, which reminded him of Robin's father Gabriel.

"Your father was a valiant knight. I still remember his deeds," Knight Malizzi said with emotion. "Now that you have embarked on this knight's path, I hope you can inherit his legacy and become a truly powerful man."

When Robin heard Knight Malizzi mention his father, a warm feeling welled up in his heart, and his belief became more firm.

"Knight Commander, I will definitely work hard and will not let you and father down." Robin said loudly, his voice full of determination.

Knight Malizzi nodded, and then the servant behind him came forward and handed the wooden box to Robin.

"This is the Knight's Breathing Technique that the Grand Knight Commander asked me to teach you. From today on, I will be your Breathing Technique instructor," Knight Malizzi said. "Breathing Technique is the key to becoming a knight. It allows you to better control your power and enhance your strength."

Robin took the wooden box with both hands, his heart filled with excitement.

His hands trembled slightly as he carefully opened the lid of the wooden box.

I saw a crystal clear crystal ball lying quietly on the velvet lining of the wooden box.

The crystal ball is not big, just right to be held in the palm of your hand. Mysterious runes shine on the surface of the sphere. Those runes are like living things, emitting a faint glow, as if telling of an ancient and powerful power.

Robin took a deep breath and slowly stretched out his hand. The moment his fingertips touched the crystal ball, a strange feeling instantly spread throughout his body.

Like swift snakes, the mysterious runes flowed rapidly through his palms and into his body, so fast that he had no time to react. In an instant, Robin felt the world before him become blurry, his mind was in a trance, and he felt as if he was in chaos.

His consciousness drifted in this chaos, trying to grasp something, but found nothing.

When he regained consciousness, he found that he did not seem to have gained any substantial insights, as if the mysterious power just now had only passed through his body quickly and left nothing behind.

A trace of confusion and nervousness appeared on Robin's face. He raised his head and looked at Knight Malizzi.

Knight Malizzi seemed to have anticipated his reaction and smiled, saying, "Don't be nervous. That's just the introductory energy for the Breathing Method. It's there to help you connect with it. It's normal that you don't feel it right now. I'll slowly guide you. Breathing Method practice isn't something you can achieve overnight; it requires constant effort."

Robin's tension eased a little after hearing what Knight Malizzi said.

He looked intently at Knight Malizzi, listening carefully to every word.

"In the process of cultivation, you will encounter various difficulties and challenges, but as long as you persist, you will succeed." Knight Malizzi continued, his eyes revealing encouragement and expectations.

Robin nodded vigorously and said firmly, "Knight Commander, I understand. I will work hard to practice and live up to your teachings."

"Very good." Knight Malizzi smiled with satisfaction, a hint of relief in his smile. "Starting tomorrow, you will come to my tent, and I will personally teach you how to practice breathing techniques."

"Yes, Knight Commander!" Robin saluted respectfully again, his heart full of anticipation for the future.

From then on, every morning, before the first ray of sunlight had completely penetrated the mist, Robin had already devoted himself to his daily training.

As the sun gradually set and a day of regular training ended, Robin couldn't wait to run to Knight Malizzi's tent.

Knight Malizzi always waited patiently for Robin.

After Robin sat down, Malizzi gently placed his palm on Robin's back, and a gentle but powerful energy slowly flowed into Robin's body along his spine.

Robin closed his eyes tightly, concentrating on feeling the energy flowing through his body.

Under Malizzi's guidance, Robin needs to use this energy to adjust his breathing rhythm.

His breathing was sometimes long, sometimes short, constantly changing with the circulation of qi in his body.

With every breath, he seemed to feel the surrounding air being drawn into his body and blending with the qi.

After countless attempts and adjustments, under Malizzi's guidance day after day, Robin was finally able to allow this energy to slowly circulate in his body.

When he felt the energy flowing smoothly through his body for the first time, Robin felt an indescribable joy and sense of accomplishment.

Although Robin had mastered the breathing technique and could feel his strength increase through it, he knew very little about the principles behind it all.

He had no idea how to learn and master the breathing technique independently, let alone how to pass on this valuable breathing technique to others if he had the opportunity in the future.
