Chapter 65 Ring (Part 3)
"He's just a second-ring wizard and he's so powerful." Monroe exclaimed, his face full of shock.

The legendary knight is already the pinnacle of knights known in this world, but he is still vulnerable in front of a second-ring wizard.

Old Balder nodded, a hint of emotion in his tone, "Yes, a second-ring wizard is already at the top of the kingdom. It is said that each level up requires a deeper understanding and control of magic, and even requires pushing one's own limits.

As for wizards of higher levels, I have never seen or heard of them, or perhaps my level and circle are too low."

Robin's heart surged with emotion when he heard this, and he couldn't help but ask, "Can the wizard's third-class apprentice really be a match for our great knight?"

Old Balder nodded, his tone tinged with seriousness, "That's right. Although a wizard's third-level apprentice is only at the introductory stage, the basic magic they master is enough to handle most battles.

Especially the best among the third-class apprentices, whose magical prowess is even comparable to that of our great knights. This is why wizards are always feared on the battlefield."

Monroe couldn't help but sigh: "No wonder those wizards always act so high and mighty, it turns out their strength is so terrifying."

Old Balder smiled and patted Robin on the shoulder. "Young man, while the wizarding world is mysterious and powerful, the path of a knight is equally glorious. As long as you persevere, you may be able to rival them in the future."

Monroe clenched his fists, his eyes gleaming with determination. "I understand. Whether a knight or a wizard, true power comes from persistence and exploration of one's own path."

Only Robin had a strange look on his face. He always felt that the setting of this world was very similar to a novel he had read before traveling through time, or that he could learn from it and pay close attention to it.

Old Balder nodded with satisfaction. "Very good, young man. Remember, no matter which path you choose, you must maintain your original intention and not be blinded by power."

Robin rode on his horse, his eyes scanning the winding road ahead, and he secretly made up his mind: "Knights are too weak after all. I must become a wizard."

This idea lingered in his mind, especially after hearing old Balder's talk about the wizard level, his desire for magic became stronger.

The caravan slowly moved along the main road of the Norahan Labyrinth, surrounded by towering rock walls and dense forests, with a faint damp smell in the air.

Although the Great Labyrinth of Norahan is known for its dangers, their journey was not troublesome.

After all, there are still many adventurers coming in and out here, and the number of monsters is not large, and most of them have been cleared out by the adventurers.

Robin keenly noticed that whenever their caravan passed through the main road, it would always attract the attention of many adventurers.

These adventurer teams were well-equipped, and the worst ones were composed of knights. Some teams even had wizard apprentices mixed in.

Their eyes were filled with scrutiny and vigilance, as if they were assessing the strength of the caravan and the value of its cargo.

"No wonder Memphis hired so many knights for protection." Robin muttered to himself, understanding the situation.

In this area, monsters are certainly dangerous, but human hearts are even more unpredictable.

Although those adventurers appear to be out for exploration and monster hunting, who knows if they will suddenly turn into bandits and attack the caravan?
At this moment, there was a commotion ahead. Robin immediately became alert, tightened his grip on the compound bow, and stared at the direction of the sound.

"What's going on?" Monroe rode his horse to Robin and asked in a low voice.

Robin shook his head: "I don't know, but there seems to be something going on ahead."

Soon, a scout returned on horseback, a look of nervousness on his face. "Report! A group of adventurers has blocked our path ahead. They look hostile." Memphis frowned and waved the caravan to a halt. He turned to Robin and Monroe, his tone grave. "It looks like we're in trouble. Be prepared for any emergency."

Robin nodded, a cold look flashing in his eyes. He had expected this to happen, but he hadn't expected it to happen so soon.

The caravan slowly stopped. On the road ahead, a group of adventurers consisting of a dozen knights and two wizard apprentices blocked their way.

The leading knight was tall, with a hideous scar on his face, and his eyes were full of greed and hostility.

"Which caravan are you from? Why haven't I heard of it?" Scar Knight asked loudly, with obvious provocation in his tone.

Memphis rode forward, a professional smile on his face. "We are from the Ironstone Merchants Guild of Tutankhamun City, transporting some ordinary goods. What can I do for you?"

Scar Knight sneered, "Ordinary cargo? I doubt it. This road is the main route to the Norahan Labyrinth. You have so many guards with you, so you must have something valuable."

Memphis's smile gradually faded, and his tone became colder. "Knight, we are just an ordinary caravan and don't want to cause any trouble. If you want tolls, we can negotiate."

The Scarred Knight laughed heartily. "Tolls? We want more than that! Brothers, go ahead! Take all their goods!"

Following his command, more than a dozen knights immediately rushed over on horseback, and two wizard apprentices began to chant spells, preparing to cast magic.

A cold light flashed in Robin's eyes, and he quickly pulled the pulley of the compound bow, and the arrow shot out like lightning.

His archery was incredibly accurate, and each arrow struck the enemy's vital points. Before several knights could even get close, they were struck by arrows and fell off their horses with screams.

Monroe and other guards quickly joined in the fight, and the two sides immediately engaged in a melee.

While shooting arrows, Robin watched the two wizard apprentices warily.

Wizards are the biggest threat.

Sure enough, one of the wizard apprentices raised his staff and muttered something. A fireball instantly condensed and flew towards the caravan.

"Be careful!" Robin shouted, and quickly jumped off his horse to avoid the fireball. The fireball hit a carriage and instantly ignited a raging fire.

A cold look flashed in Robin's eyes, and he quickly drew his bow and aimed at the wizard apprentice. His arrow, with a sound of breaking through the air, flew straight into the opponent's chest.

The wizard apprentice obviously did not expect Robin's archery to be so accurate. He hurriedly raised his staff to try to defend himself, but it was too late.

The arrow pierced his chest, and he let out a scream and fell to the ground.

Seeing this, the other wizard apprentice's face changed drastically and he turned around and tried to run away.

Robin sneered, drew his bow again, and the arrow shot out like lightning, nailing the opponent directly to the ground.

Obviously, after experiencing the battle with wizards in Winston City, Robin was very clear about the weaknesses of these wizard apprentices, especially those of the first and second rank.
