Chapter 90 Commander, What Will Happen To Me?

Cui Dongjian died very quickly; the pistol at his waist fell out and landed next to his body.

Eric glanced at it; he recognized the gun—the Daewoo K5 pistol, the current standard-issue pistol of the South Korean army.

"It's finally over!"

Eric could already hear the piercing siren, and he looked ahead at the patrol car speeding towards him.

He knew it was his fellow patrol officer who had set up tire spikes ahead.

As the patrol car sped towards him and he heard noises, Eric looked back again.

Several patrol cars with flashing red and blue lights appeared behind them, rushing towards them with a tense atmosphere.

He glanced up again at the two H125 light single-engine helicopters flying high in the sky and shook his head inwardly.

If there were anyone unaware of the facts, they would probably think he was a vicious bandit surrounded by these ruthless police officers.
“LAPD!!!!”

The patrol car in front had stopped, and a dark-skinned Black policewoman got out, along with a middle-aged man looking at him nervously.

"LAPD!! Put down your guns!!!"

Seeing the two men's guarded stance with their guns outstretched, Eric raised an eyebrow, feeling a strange sensation, but he still obediently dropped the Carnik TP9SF in his hand, raised his hands, and laughed.

"Don't be nervous, I'm one of us."

Bishop breathed a sigh of relief, subconsciously glancing at the three corpses on the ground, then looking at the young man who looked like a college student yet was so ferocious, and put away his gun:
"I'm just checking if you're awake."

As she spoke, she gave Nolan, the most senior rookie who was still on guard, a look that signaled him to put down his gun.

“Of course I’m sober!” Eric glanced at the middle-aged man who obediently put away his gun but kept staring at him with a tense look.

I finally understood where that strange feeling in my heart came from.

Because this middle-aged man was clearly older than the black policewoman, but he exuded a rookie-like aura and didn't seem as capable as the black policewoman.

"So this middle-aged man really is a newbie?" Eric thought to himself in surprise as he waited for the two to approach.

Behind him, patrol cars came to an abrupt stop with fierce movements.

It's all over.
Nine p.m.

Wilshire Police Station.

Eric, who was temporarily placed in a rest room, was reminded by Bishop and Nolan to move to another place along the outer corridor.

"Dude, are you really new to the police force?" Eric asked curiously, looking at Nolan who was pursing his lips and not saying a word.

Upon hearing this, Nolan took a breath and nodded. The young man's impressive record was still echoing in his mind.

Besides what he witnessed firsthand on Wilshire Avenue, there were even more ferocious victories.

Just as the twenty-one bandits were about to leave after a massive firepower sweep, this young man suddenly appeared. In addition to the bandits who had fled into the restaurant, there were three others fleeing on Wilshire Avenue. He single-handedly shot down the bandits' escape vehicles with a single pistol, killing a total of twelve people and forcefully changing the situation.

According to the various pieces of random information he had heard, it was said that if it weren't for this young man, based on the bandits' actions, they might have actually escaped.

He wasn't as quick to process information as veteran patrol officers like Bishop, so he was still absorbing it and had no idea how to deal with this formidable person.

He was so young, so incredibly young, it was almost blinding to him. It was the first time he had ever seen such a formidable person in the Los Angeles Police Department.

Fortunately, Bishop helped answer: "He's only been here for three days."

“Wow.” Eric shrugged, completely unconcerned about what would happen next, and smiled at Nolan.

"Looks like you like being a policeman too."

Nolan paused, then remained silent, his lips pursed. He wasn't sure if he truly enjoyed being a policeman. Because of that remark, Bishop glanced at Nolan instinctively, a multitude of thoughts swirling in her mind.

But before she could think any further, their destination was already in sight. She could only stop in front of one of the offices and say to Eric.

"arrive."

“OK!” Eric just smiled. Even in the midst of battle, he was analyzing the consequences of his actions.

Under California law, during his leave of absence, in the event of an emergency that falls within his jurisdiction and is urgent, he may temporarily resume his law enforcement powers.

Therefore, the emergency at that time met the definition of being within the scope of duties and in an urgent situation.

As for killing prisoners, one shot to the head, that goes without saying.

The only potentially irregular incident occurred on Wilshire Avenue.

He killed three people, including Cui Dongjian.

However, Cui Dongjian is a good example; he did draw his gun and retaliate, and he committed such a serious crime.

Only the two South Koreans who were thrown away met the requirement of no longer being a threat.

"I even deliberately used the wrong angle, so I don't think they captured it, right?" Eric raised an eyebrow and briefly recounted the whole process.

He did use the black Genesis GV70 to cut off the view, but with such a wide field of vision at high altitudes, he couldn't be sure of anything.

The only hope is that the things Choi Dong-geon and his group of South Koreans did were so heinous that everyone would choose to ignore these insignificant violations and keep quiet.

I wonder who's in this office.

Eric's mind raced before the office door opened.

But when the office door opened, revealing the person inside, Eric had only one thought in his mind.

That means it's a sure thing!
Because among the people sitting inside were people he knew, including Inspector Grey, a woman he felt was a stranger but whose identity he recognized.

Sergeant Zoe Anderson of the Wilshire Police Department.

Inspector Grey possesses a mature woman's charm, with a gentle and reserved temperament. However, Inspector Anderson, dressed in a business suit and sporting shoulder-length short hair, exudes an aura of authority with his deep-set features, somewhat cold and sharp eyes.

“This is Inspector Anderson from the Wilshire Police Department,” Grey said gently, noticing Eric’s subconsciously observing gaze.

Eric nodded, indicating that he understood.

Zoe glanced at Eric curiously, surprised by his handsome looks and youthful appearance, and said to Grey:
"I need to go out and clean up the mess. You'll be in charge of your people."

Grey nodded.

Zoe got up, glanced at Eric one more time, and then walked out.

“Sit down,” Grey said gently.

Eric immediately sat down obediently, then looked at Grey and asked:

"Sir, what will happen to me?"

Upon hearing this, Grey suddenly thought of Daves for some reason, and a scene came to mind.

A young patrolman got into trouble again and was caught by his superior, who personally escorted him back to the station. Then, the young patrolman asked with an innocent look on his face.

"Sir, what will happen to me?"
