Without hesitation, Liang Yu said directly, "In the future, a considerable number of immortality pills will transform into human form or undergo various other evolutions, thus the number of immortality pills that future Daoists can possess will become increasingly scarce. Without immortality pills, the Nine-Turn Immortal Pill will naturally become nonsense. As a result, many future Daoists will probably have much less time."

"Therefore, I think our transformation plan should start with the human universe itself."

The Primordial Celestial Venerable said, "The human universe? Fellow Daoist Wuji, didn't you say you wanted to preserve its state of decline and lack of longevity substances? Now it seems you want to make the human universe generate longevity substances to compensate for this? Or are you saying that you will only allow those who have attained the Dao to obtain longevity substances?"

Liang Yu said, “No, according to my initial idea, I hope that you, Fellow Daoist Yuanshi, as well as Fellow Daoist Daodao and Fellow Daoist Lingbao, will work with me to completely change the laws of the human universe so that although they can produce longevity substances and all cultivators in the human universe can obtain them, we must restrict how they obtain longevity substances to prolong their lives.”

"This will not only provide cultivators in the human universe with a better cultivation environment, but also allow those who have attained enlightenment to make up for the lack of the elixir of immortality."

Seeing that Liang Yu seemed to have planned this all along, Yuanshi Tianzun immediately asked, "Then how do you intend to impose restrictions, Fellow Daoist Wuji?"

Liang Yu laughed and said, "I want to create a new tribulation in the human universe, called the Longevity Tribulation. All cultivators in the human universe can try to trigger this great tribulation when their lifespan is nearing its end."

"As long as they can survive the tribulation of immortality, they can obtain longevity substances corresponding to their own strength to prolong their lives and live a second life, which is equivalent to taking an elixir of immortality. In addition, they can also obtain some special laws of the Great Dao to promote their growth."

"These Great Dao Laws can be fragments of the Great Dao of the human universe, fragments of the Dao Fruits of those powerful Dao Prodigies in the past, parts of the secrets of the Elixir of Immortality, or even incomplete Immortal Dao Laws."

"The foundation of the Longevity Tribulation is condensed according to their realm. The greater the Longevity Tribulation it triggers, the more additional benefits one can obtain. Upon hearing this, Liang Yu nodded and said, "Fellow Daoist Yuanshi is right."

If the difficulty of the Longevity Tribulation remains unchanged, then some people will inevitably stay at a certain level and rely on repeatedly undergoing the Longevity Tribulation to continuously prolong their lives and eventually achieve immortality.

Even for those who have attained enlightenment, they cannot be allowed to rely on the Longevity Tribulation to live forever, because this would make it difficult for many geniuses to push themselves to their limits because achieving immortality would be too easy.

The Primordial Celestial Venerable continued, "The first threshold for the Longevity Tribulation doesn't need to be too high. It's enough to be at the first or second level of the corresponding realm. It can be considered a benefit for future generations. But from the second time onwards, only those who have reached the top level in their own realm can pass through it. The third time, they must reach the very top level of their realm to pass through it."

"As for the fourth time, it should be a difficulty that no one can overcome."

According to the idea of ​​the Primordial Celestial Venerable, those who can survive one tribulation of immortality can be considered geniuses. Their realm should be able to reach the level of Great Sage or even Quasi-Emperor. Being able to live another life is considered a great fortune.

Those who can survive two tribulations of immortality are basically young ancient emperors, which ensures that the Daoists of later generations can basically live three lifetimes without the elixir of immortality or the Nine-Turn Immortal Pill, which is almost an extremely favorable condition.

Even if they don't attain enlightenment, they should still be able to become supreme beings who achieve enlightenment in a different way. Being able to extend their lives in this way can be considered as giving them greater room for growth.

The threshold for surviving three tribulations of immortality is so high that the vast majority of those seeking enlightenment cannot succeed. Such individuals are exceptionally powerful. They can achieve transformation on their own, and these extra opportunities provide them with more leeway, allowing them to smoothly reach their pinnacle in the realm of humanity.

As for cultivators with even higher requirements, they probably already possess the potential to become immortals in the mortal world, so they don't need to undergo the fourth tribulation of immortality. They can rely on their own talents to continuously defy death.

In this sense, Yuanshi Tianzun's standard is actually quite considerate of future Daoists, giving them more opportunities than before.

After all, he was a cultivator from the mortal universe. After becoming a Celestial King and giving back to this world, his sense of belonging became even stronger. Therefore, he naturally hoped that future generations could have better cultivation conditions than they did.

Liang Yu's original idea was to set the difficulty of the Longevity Tribulation to prevent anyone from exploiting loopholes, but now it seems that the Yuanshi Tianzun's plan, which involves a continuous and significant increase in difficulty, is indeed more appropriate.

Upon hearing this, Yuanshi Tianzun said, "Our concept is already so perfect that I'm afraid Fellow Daoist Morality and Fellow Daoist Lingbao will have no objections."
