Chapter 4 Kung Fu
I returned to my room with the lunchbox.

Gen Tsukino first washed the lunchbox and then put it back in the cupboard.

This rental apartment isn't very big, and it has the same layout as the neighboring Kiyono Mizuki's house.

There's a small living room and a makeshift kitchen connected to it, followed by a small single bedroom. The bathroom and toilet are also together. It makes good use of the space and is quite in line with the local customs and traditions.

Since the chassis is small, it can only make full use of the space.

However, based on my understanding of Japan over the past eighteen years, it is somewhat different from what I knew about Japan.

In his view, it couldn't be considered that he had returned to his original world. Even if he returned to Yanxia by going abroad, he probably wouldn't be able to find the people and things that existed in his memories.

So basically, Tsukino Gen treats this place simply as a parallel world. He doesn't know how to leave, or what his future will be like, or what his life will be like in this world.
He only earns the necessary money and has no desire for fame or fortune. He lives a simple life and doesn't need to chase after things that seem very tempting.

In short: Dude, I'm an energy-saving enthusiast, so I just put it down.

After tidying up the room, which didn't have many things, I took off my shirt and went into the bathroom.

He revealed a youthful physique that looked thin but actually had smooth, defined lines.

The muscles are clearly defined, and the eight-pack abs look like a work of art with aesthetic appeal.

Taking a cold shower in June isn't exactly economical; in fact, he likes to take cold showers in any season.

After doing all this, Tsukino Gen didn't go out again, nor did he watch TV or play video games.

Instead, he sat cross-legged on the bed in the room and began to take deep breaths.

As I took my last deep breath and closed my eyes.

The world did not become dark because of this; instead, it became clearer.

He could clearly see the weeds growing down below the apartment building and how the moon hanging in the sky was gradually covered by dark clouds.

The wind's song is like the world's breath, and the flickering streetlights at the entrance of the residential area attract which lost moth?

This wasn't a sign of mental instability or delusions; it was simply part of his daily routine.

The biggest secret about Tsukino Gen isn't his identity as a transmigrator, but a martial art called "Ultimate Formless Technique".

He meditated for about three hours, during which his light breaths seemed to turn into white mist, filling the entire room. The moment he opened his eyes...

A glint of dark golden light flashed in his eyes and disappeared in an instant.

"As expected, this world still lacks spiritual energy. Isn't there any other way to replenish it?"

The progress of the technique was not satisfactory, but there seemed to be no other way but to accumulate little by little, like water dripping on a stone.

However, the second level of the Ultimate Formless Technique was enough for him to prevent Kiyono Mizuki's leg muscles from atrophying.

Go to sleep first.

Goodnight to the whole world, and then wake up on a dewy morning.

Wash your face, change your clothes, put on your shoes, and leave home for a morning run.

He didn't really need to exercise in the morning; he just wanted to give himself a reason for his physical condition in advance, saving himself the trouble of explaining.

On the way back, I picked up a breakfast for the little hedgehog next door.

"When I bring you breakfast, say good morning to you, and wake you up, all you need to do is say good morning back to me."

"Don't say things like, 'Huh? How did you get in? Don't you know that trespassing is illegal?' It's pointless and completely meaningless."

Kiyono Mizuki, blushing and putting on her coat, glared at Tsukino Gen.

"You're not allowed to use that key anymore, do you hear me?"

Gen shrugged. "If I call you and you don't get up and open the door, what can I do? The food will get cold."

Kiyono Mizuki finally put on that dark hoodie. Although it was June, the morning temperature was still a bit chilly.

She struggled to move her body, trying to climb into the wheelchair.

Doing such a thing in front of Gen Tsukino felt strangely shameful; she was still not used to showing her imperfections.

Unexpectedly, Tsukino Gen simply reached out his hands and easily picked her up.

When she was placed in the wheelchair like this, her fair cheeks were as rosy as a red apple.

She tightened her clothes as if she were cold, and deliberately frowned so that he wouldn't notice her panic after feeling his warm embrace.

"Nobody gets up this early. I didn't ask you to tell me what to do. I'll eat by myself when I wake up."

"Alright, alright, it was my own choice to meddle. Princess, could you please go wash up first?"

The boy pushed the wheelchair to the bathroom.

Hearing the other person's teasing words, Kiyono Mizuki snorted, "Do I look like the kind of girl who needs you to coax her for everything?"

It really is like a hedgehog; it struggles with everything.

However, Tsukino Gen was already used to the other person's personality, so he left the bathroom first to let the other person wash up by themselves.

Kiyono Mizuki wasn't originally like this; she was at most a little proud. But after the unexpected incident, she grew to like using this method to disguise herself more and more.

She pretended that no one needed her, so that no one would find out that she didn't actually deserve what she wanted.

When Kiyono Mizuki came out of the bathroom, she saw Tsukino Genza holding her laptop in one hand and her phone in the other, fiddling with something.

"What are you doing?"

Her expression was unfriendly.

Gen Tsukino calmly placed his laptop on the sofa. "I've put your internet back on and paid your phone bill."

"Why do this?"

The young girl's beautiful eyes were fixed on Tsukino Gen. She had stopped saying those meaningless things, because she knew clearly that she couldn't stop him from doing what he wanted to do.

The exceptionally handsome young man casually said, "You can try doing what you want to do, or even try to earn some money. That way you won't feel like you need to depend on me for everything."

"Who depends on you? Besides, what can I do now?"

"I remember you used to really enjoy drawing online, or writing light novels or something, you could do that."

"It's surprising you still remember light novels. But I don't have any stories to write." Kiyono Mizuki coldly refused.

Gen Tsukino thought for a moment and said, "I have a story here that you might be interested in."

"what story?"

"It tells the story of a handsome young man who rejects all the temptations in life and wholeheartedly and tenderly takes care of his disabled female neighbor. In the end, they live happily ever after."

"What nonsense are you spouting!"

Kiyono Mizuki's cold and hard defense was once again easily broken down.

Gen Tsukino smiled happily, placed the breakfast he had brought on the table, and then stood up.

"Whatever the story, it's good to write something. There are some things you don't want to say to me, so let's find another outlet for our emotions. After all, we can't just bottle them up, can we?"

"It's not that I'm unwilling to tell you."

"What? I didn't hear clearly."

Kiyono Mizuki's words were spoken so softly, like the buzzing of a mosquito.

She unconsciously reached out and brushed the strands of hair behind her ear, tucking them behind her ear, but this only made people see the glistening red at the tip of her ear.

"nothing."

"Then take your time eating, I have to go to school now. Is there anything you want me to bring back for you?"

Gen Tsukino stood up and asked.

Kiyono Mizuki shook her head. "No."

"Okay, I'm leaving."

"Ah."

It seems this is the final farewell.

But Tsukino Gen, who seemed to be heading towards the door, suddenly turned around and walked towards Kiyono Mizuki.

Then he knelt down in front of the girl, held onto her wheelchair, and looked up at her.

"What are you doing?"

The unexpected eye contact and the unprepared distance made Kiyono Mizuki's heart race instantly.

But then she saw the boy's bright and beautiful smile. "I'm leaving now. Aren't you going to say anything to me?"

"If you want to leave, then leave. What can I say?"

Does it have to be like a wife seeing her husband off to work?!

She was fuming, but her heart was burning like fire.

But Tsukino Gen's gaze remained unchanged, still smiling as he looked at her.

It seemed like he would keep pestering her until she told him.

The girl's hands were clenched tightly; she gritted her teeth and her face burned.

"Be careful on your way to school, and have a smooth journey."

"So nice."

".hateful!"

Kiyono Mizuki was very embarrassed and annoyed, but she was a girl who couldn't even stomp her feet in anger.

Gen Tsukino stood up again, as if remembering something, and said softly.

"Oh, and if those people come, remember to close the door properly and wait for me to come back."

"Huh? No, those people are not someone you can handle."

"obedient."

".oh."

He gently patted the top of his head.

Kiyono Mizuki was like a robot whose switch had been flipped, forgetting to refute.

It wasn't until the other person finally left her home that the girl belatedly blushed.

"Did he treat me like a puppy? He even patted my head."

She angrily reached out and touched the top of her head.

But her eyes clearly became moist, and even the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up.

Looking at the breakfast on the table, I realized it was one of my favorite dishes.

While feeling warmth, Kiyono Mizuki also felt a sense of unreality, as if she didn't deserve this situation.

But if we really have to say, one day he finally got together with a girl who was a good match for him, and then disappeared from his own world.
Can I bear such a future?

Why would someone like that appear in my world? He's practically a temple rising from my barren land.

He is a god who should not exist in his own cruel world.

Gen Tsukino, standing at the door, wasn't thinking about these things; he hoped life could be simpler.

Do what you want to do, don't let money, profit, or power distort your mindset, live with the people you love, and let your mind be at peace.

Looking at those glaring words and the frighteningly bright red paint.

He simply reached out and gently covered the marks, then frowned slightly.

Like a gentle breeze passing by his eyes, ruffling his short hair.

He turned around and left the corridor completely.

Those harsh and malicious words vanished without a trace, and even the bright red paint, as red as chicken blood, disappeared without a trace.
