Chapter 10 The Cat Is Angry
The Flame Lion was furious, and its roar almost shook the entire Flame Beast Forest.

[You're just like that old scoundrel Hua Shen, trying to fool me again!!]
[There really isn't a single good person in the Beast Taming Sect!!]
Roar!
Nan Ran looked at the suddenly enraged Flaming Lion, not understanding what had touched a nerve.

The once arrogant giant cat now seemed to be in a bloodthirsty rage, walking towards her with a fierce aura, looking as if it might kill her at any moment.

She swallowed.

"What did Elder Huashen lie to you about?"

"But no matter what he lied to you about, I can assure you that I am definitely not like him, and everything I said is true."

"And, and, I'm a really good cook!"

Nan Ran raised his hand and made a promise to the person.

That's the point; it's just so unconvincing.

Not only did the Fiery Lion not believe it, but even Nan Ran himself began to doubt whether he was a fraud.

"How about I make it for you right now?"

How about beggar's chicken?

"Exactly, you might need to hunt a chicken yourself."

Roar! !

The Fiery Lion ignored her nonsense. Thinking of the deception and exploitation he had suffered at the hands of that scoundrel Hua Shen, he was filled with rage and wanted to vent his anger.

"what!"

Nan Ran stared in horror as a claw, larger than her head, slammed down on her, causing her to scream in terror.

In the face of crisis, her muscle memory reacted much faster than her brain.

Before the giant claw could strike, Nan Ran rolled to the ground, dodging the blow that would turn him into mincemeat.

But when the giant claw slammed down, the swirling, scorching wind it whipped up still scraped across her face like a sharp blade.

If Ye Zhi and the others had seen this, they would have been even more shocked. Such an attack, with air blades that could almost slice through skin, yet Nan Ran had withstood it calmly and remained completely unharmed!
Is this really the worst student at the bottom of the sect, or some hidden master monk?

Nan Ran, however, didn't really have a real sense of these things.

"Roar!"

Still seething with rage, twelve out of ten sentences were cursing Hua Shen's fiery lion. He paced back and forth around Nan Ran, hurling three curses with every step he took.

This can't go on forever.

Nan Ran hissed, rubbing his elbow that he had bumped while rolling around, and struggled to sit up. His eyes were fixed on the Flaming Lion's rapidly wagging tail.

She had seen an analysis online that said the frequency of a cat's tail wagging could reflect its current mood.

Judging from the frequency of the Flaming Lion, it seems to have become extremely agitated.

Nan Ran couldn't help but feel curious; how exactly had Elder Hua Shen deceived this big cat's feelings...?

Why are you so angry after just one mention?

Suppressing her curiosity, Nan Ran checked the direction and carefully avoided the spot where the giant paws would land, jogging all the way to the vicinity of the Flaming Lion's flaming mane.

With a running start, he jumped, soared into the air, grabbed the mane, and used the momentum to swing and sway—Nan Ran's series of movements were completed in one go. Then, like a monkey swinging on a vine, he used the momentum to jump onto the back of the Fiery Lion.

"Oh my god!"

Nan Ran shook her hand, which had accidentally bumped into the back of the Fiery Lion and was now swollen and red.

"Why is the fur so stiff? Is it made of steel needles...?"

She suddenly felt a little regretful.

I never expected that the fur of this giant feline would not be as soft as that of a kitten, but rather stiff and prickly.

It's still on fire!!!
Nan Ran couldn't help but have some doubts. With such a tough guy around, could her plan before she came up still work?
