Cursed Mountains and Seas

Chapter 81 Remarks on the launch

Chapter 81 Remarks on the launch
Dear readers, my book was published on the 17th of last month, exactly forty days ago, and it's going to be available again soon. I'd like to take this opportunity to chat.

Thank you to my editor Jiang Cha and editor-in-chief Qingting for their suggestions.

The book was written in four drafts before this approach, which combines the ideas of "The Fruit of Killing" and "The Pirate King", was finally chosen.

My habit is that I usually start setting up and collecting information for the next book, or even the book after that, before I even start writing the previous one.

Therefore, some continuity is inevitable.

The story of "The Cursed Mountains and Seas" takes place on the map missing from the previous book: China, the South Seas, Southeast Asia, and the subcontinent.

Furthermore, with the fusion of East and West, the protagonist will eventually sail a black ship to Edo Bay to raid the border and go to the Spice Islands to treat Young Master Ou to cakes.

In addition, the author, being a meticulous researcher, prepared at least fifty reference books on topics such as Eastern navigation and folklore.

The ordination system comes from "The Covenant I, II, III, IV", the official titles and ranks come from "A Hundred Anecdotes of the Martial World I, II, III", and the background setting comes from "The Great Pirates (Xue Er)", "The Ming Dynasty Navy in Three Hundred Years", "Defeat at Sea", and "The East India Company and the Sea of Asia".
I guarantee there will be ingredients to add to the story.

Regarding the character design, I've seen many readers discussing how silly Prince Jinghai, Wang Zeng, is.

In fact, the pirate kings Chen Zuyi in the early Ming Dynasty, Wang Zhi in the middle Ming Dynasty, and Zheng Zhilong in the late Ming Dynasty were all killed after surrendering to the emperor. None of them learned from the lessons of their predecessors; they all ended up the same way.

The Wang family, which was originally a group of pirates during the Ming Dynasty, was not a single person.

This includes Wang Zhi, the King of Hui who occupied the island and declared himself king; Zhang Wei of Yuegang and his twenty-four generals and thirty-six fierce warriors; and Zheng Zhilong, who dominated the East China Sea and defeated the Dutch.
Missing out on the Age of Exploration is a regret for the entire nation, and the author has tried his best to write a wonderful story in the book.

It's difficult to update frequently while working part-time.

However, the big shots know me. I rarely take leave. I spent almost sixteen months writing my last book, "Pirate Kings," and only took one day off. I didn't even get a break that day because I had something really going on.

As before, it will sell 10,000 copies daily upon release. Begging for first-day subscriptions! or2
