Chapter 532 Catch them all in one fell swoop

As dusk faded and the bright moon rose in the east, the sky was clear and unobstructed, gradually revealing a constellation of stars.

A three-masted ship emerged from the fog, riding the wind and waves into the vast ocean.

A light mist floated on the sea, making the surroundings seem ethereal.

This ship was smaller than ordinary seagoing vessels, with a narrower bottom, but its keel was smooth and sturdy, and its three masts were properly set up. Although it was not as stable as a large flat-bottomed ship, it was even more light and agile.

Not long after entering the sea, a woman's voice was heard saying, "Next, head southwest." The voice was sweet and charming, and her eyes shone brightly in the darkness.

Ding'an compared the compass to the compass, looking at it again and again, muttering to himself, "Xiao Sanxiao is really carefree, with no one to steer the ship."

Hongxiu glanced at the cabin, pursed her lips, and said coldly, "He gave this ship to us."

Ding An asked, puzzled, "Is the old tortoise really that kind?"

Hongxiu's expression was complicated as she said, "I don't think he meant any good."

"Clam?!"

Ding An's expression hardened, and he said solemnly, "Is he trying to do something bad?"

Hongxiu shook her head and laughed, "That's not what I meant." As she spoke, she walked to the steering wheel, patted it, and said, "I feel like he's had enough of living."

"Huh?" Ding An was taken aback, and exclaimed in surprise, "He's courting death?"

Hongxiu turned the helm and laughed, "Who knows? Anyway, this short, fat man looks completely lifeless." She then changed the subject, "Duan Shou, hoist the foremast sail; we're going to sail against the wind."

"Ow~!"

Although Ding'an still had some doubts, he responded, slung a conch shell over his shoulder, and dashed off to raise the sail.

Inside the cabin, the two sat facing each other.

Compared to the ordinary state of the ship as a whole, the cabin was a completely different world, with elegant decorations, exquisite furniture, and bright lighting, and food and drinks were already prepared.

Ren Shaoyang said, "It's rare to see a three-masted ship decorated so elegantly."

"Sword God, you flatter me," Xiao San said with a smile. "Having lived so long, I have no other desires but to be kind to myself."

"A little better?"

Ren Shaoyang pointed to the food and wine on the table and said calmly, "These kinds of dishes are not easy to make, let alone in Japan, even in Jiangnan."

Xiao Sanxiao didn't respond, but changed the subject: "You must be hungry after a long night." He pointed to a plate of lotus root on the table, "This fragrant and sweet lotus root is my favorite. You should try it."

Ren Shaoyang was also really hungry, so he honestly took a bite without any hesitation. Sure enough, it was sweet, soft and chewy, and fragrant and delicious. He couldn't help but nod in approval.

Xiao Sanxiao chuckled and continued, "This is the same."

Ren Shaoyang waved his hand and said, "No need for introductions, just pack it up." He then put down his chopsticks.

Xiao Sanxiao was stunned for a moment, then shook his head and chuckled: "You three are really good. Ren Jianshen always thinks of them."

Ren Shaoyang picked up the wine pot, poured wine for him, and said with a smile, "Compared to your kind father and filial son?"

Xiao Sanxiao's hand holding the wine glass wobbled, spilling quite a bit, and he looked at him speechlessly.

Ren Shaoyang raised his glass and said with a smile, "Please!"

Xiao Sanxiao shook his head helplessly, picked up his glass, and the two of them downed it in one gulp.

Ren Shaoyang exhaled and said, "Good wine! Clear, mellow, and sweet, not bad."

Xiao San smiled and said, "If Sword God Ren likes it, there are dozens of jars in the lower deck, all of which are my thousand-year-old cellar treasures."

"You gave it to me?"

"Give it to you!"

"You're not going to stay?"

"The time has come."

The two drank and chatted, one sentence after another, enjoying themselves immensely. In the blink of an eye, a pot of wine was empty.

Ren Shaoyang said, "I thought we were going to fight each other until the world turned upside down."

Xiao Sanxiao shook his head and said, "I can't beat the three of you."

Ren Shaoyang chuckled and said, "Heh, just admit defeat?"

Xiao Sanxiao got up, took out a few small plates of pastries from the cabinet, and then, as if by magic, kept taking out a tea set from the seemingly narrow drawer.

He spread out the tea set, carefully selecting each tea leaf with a tea scoop, filling the pot, and then pushed open a small door at the bottom of the cabinet, revealing a stove with water boiling inside. He added water to rinse and brew the tea, and after the boiling water had evaporated, he served it all on the table.

He did these meticulous tasks remarkably well.

Xiao Sanxiao did all this with a calm expression, saying, "I was born during the Battle of Zhuolu, and although I was one of the seventy-two generals under the Yellow Emperor, in reality, I am a..."

He looked up, smiled, and handed over a cup of tea: "Warlock."

Ren Shaoyang took it, smelled it, and praised, "Such a pure tea aroma." He looked up at him, "Why do I find it so hard to believe you?"

Xiao San laughed and said, "I am right here. If the Sword God wants to kill me, I will finish him off with one sword."

Ren Shaoyang stared at him, his eyes flickering like candlelight, and chuckled softly, "Why seek death?"

"I have spent my life fighting against countless calamities, which led to the tragic death of my wife and the turning of my children against me."

Xiao Sanxiao calmly warmed the tea, poured himself a drink, and said, "Now that Jingtian and Aoshi are dead, the great calamity of the ages has finally come to your hands. I should atone for my sins."

Ren Shaoyang frowned slightly: "The Great Calamity of a Thousand Autumns, is it over?"

"If Japan is gone, what great calamity is left?"

"Only the western country was flooded; there are three other islands as well."

Xiao Sanxiao looked at him and sighed, "The Blade Emperor, with his 'Hidden Dragon' prosthetic hand, combined the Yin and Yang streams, controlling the seven vast seas. While it seemed he only stirred up a tsunami, he actually created a dantian for this chaotic ocean." He smiled slightly, "In the following days, strange phenomena occurred: a tsunami, a hurricane, and an earthquake struck simultaneously. At that time, seawater will flow backwards into the three islands of Japan, causing the rivers and lakes to rise, people to become fish and turtles, and the land to be reduced to nothing."

“Even more terrifying is…”

Ren Shaoyang smiled, raised his glass, and asked, "What is it?"

Xiao Sanxiao said, "Changes in the earth's energy triggered the eruption of Mount Fuji, causing the entire East Japan to sink." He raised his cup and drank it all in one gulp. "If East Japan is gone, what kind of calamity is this?"

Ren Shaoyang smiled and sipped his tea: "Isn't this a good thing?"

"Not necessarily."

Xiao San laughed and said, "All the changes are caused by the three villains. You have disrupted the paths of many people, but fate will surely set things right, ultimately leading to an even greater calamity."

"Oh?" Ren Shaoyang raised an eyebrow. "For example?"

"Hmm," Xiao Sanxiao thought for a moment and said, "Doing something that is impossible is the most likely thing to happen. The more you want to do something, the more it will go against you and not let you have your way. In fact, the more you force it, the more severe the backlash will be."

"Just like you and your two filial sons?"

Xiao Sanxiao shook his head and sighed, "The words are crude, but the principle is sound." He looked up at him and said, "Ren Jianshen's 'Harmonious Law of Heaven' emphasizes acting in accordance with the will of Heaven, but his actions today are nothing but going against the will of Heaven and Earth. One day, he will not be able to escape the fate of being intolerable by Heaven and Earth and abandoned by both gods and men."

Ren Shaoyang scoffed, "Heh, you're scared?"

"Of course I'm scared!"

Xiao Sanxiao's face was filled with sorrow: "Having lived so long, I've come to see through everything. Everything is a manipulation of Heaven; any change must eventually return to its origin." He looked at Ren Shaoyang and said, word by word, "This is destiny!"

"The three of you have changed the world, and the heavens and earth cannot tolerate you. I, too, have been implicated. I would rather die at the hands of the Sword God than suffer endless torment."

"Hahaha, rejected by heaven and earth, abandoned by gods and men?" Ren Shaoyang suddenly laughed, looking at him disdainfully, "You spineless old codger! You've lived for thousands of years, but now you can't even drink wine, and you don't even have the guts?"

Xiao Sanxiao slowly finished his last cup of wine and said calmly, "My wish has been fulfilled. I only ask for a quick death so I can go to the underworld to see my wife and children."

“Alright.” Ren Shaoyang’s eyes flashed, and he uttered four words: “The Law of Withering.”

Damn!
A sword pierced the old man's throat, the tip protruding from his neck.

"Uh~!" Xiao Sanxiao's eyes widened suddenly as he felt a strange force invade his body, sweeping out like a tidal wave. Everything within a radius of several dozen feet, all kinds of things, froze and remained motionless.

With a hiss, Ren Shaoyang sheathed his sword, stood up, and walked towards the door.

"Thank you, thank you."

Ren Shaoyang remained expressionless and said softly, "No need to thank me. I've wanted to kill you for a long time." Xiao Sanxiao gasped for breath, his face, once rosy and plump, now withered and emaciated. He managed to utter two words: "Be careful."

"Be careful of what?" Ren Shaoyang paused, glancing sideways at him.

Xiao Sanxiao pointed to the ceiling, and in a flash, he turned into a cloud of ashes, drifting out the window.
Ren Shaoyang stepped out of the cabin, put his hands behind his back, looked up at the sky, and murmured, "The sky?"

"Hey, how's the cripple?"

Hongxiu and Ding'an came to greet them.

“Xiao San laughed himself to death,” Ren Shaoyang said softly.

"Dead?" the two said in unison.

"He was beheaded by my sword and died after his lifespan was exhausted."

Ding An paused for a moment, then pouted and said, "He got off easy."

Hongxiu frowned and asked, "Why does he want to die?"

"Because he's afraid of dying." Ren Shaoyang stared at the horizon, then his eyes suddenly lit up. "They're here!"

As soon as the words were spoken, they all shuddered, and fear suddenly erupted in their hearts.

The once calm and cloudless sky suddenly gathered boundless dark clouds, which swirled and piled up, resembling a giant eye of the universe, watching down.

Pale and cold.

The once azure sea has now turned gloomy and dark, like spilled ink.

The waves surged and roared, and in the distance, the sky and water blended into one, with the dark clouds resembling an infinitely vast black city stretching across the ocean.

Hooray!
A streak of lightning twisted and turned as it streaked across the sky, illuminating the interior of the clouds.

Then a golden figure appeared, seated cross-legged on a lotus throne, looking down.

"Crippled man, this, this thing!" Hongxiu trembled as she was stared at.

Ren Shaoyang also felt a chill run down his spine. The "Harmonious Law" quietly activated, and ripples spread through the air. The area around the small boat became clear and unaffected by that gaze.

"This being is the 'Heavenly Dao' of the Fengyun world, the Great Sun Tathagata!"

"What the hell?"

Ding'an was stunned, stroking his bald head, "Shakyamuni?"

Ren Shaoyang glanced at him: "You're a bald monk too. When you see this bald monk's ancestor, why don't you try to plead for him? After all, he's family."

Just then, the golden figure in the sky spoke, its voice resounding and grand, like trillions of monks chanting sutras.

"Demons from beyond the heavens, you have wreaked havoc on the human world, why do you not confess your crimes and submit to punishment?"

"Hey! Buddha, don't be in such a hurry!" Ren Shaoyang suddenly waved his hand, pointing at Ding An's bald head, "Look, doesn't he look like Fahai? They're really related!"

Ding'an was stunned for a moment.

Hongxiu's eyes darted around, and she shouted, "Yes, yes, Fahai, quickly recognize him!"

The golden figure paused, seemingly not quite understanding.

Ding An cautiously raised his hand and said, "Hello, old bald monk."

"Bang!"*2
Ren Shaoyang and Hongxiu slap each other
The Buddha's voice changed, and he said coldly, "Shut up! You heretics, today this old monk will use the ninth move of the 'Buddha's Palm,' 'Ten Thousand Buddhas Paying Homage,' to deliver you from suffering!"

Having said that, a large hand with the character "万" (wan, meaning ten thousand) imprinted on its palm casually reached out.

boom!
Countless dark cracks spread through the void. Amidst the tremors, thunder roared in the sky, and dark golden flames burst forth from the sea. The aura was terrifying and earth-shattering.

"Oh my god, cripple, we're going to die!"

Ding An stepped forward, blocking the two men. He was swept away by the terrifying aura, and tears streamed down his face. He trembled all over, but he resisted desperately and did not retreat even half a step.

Hongxiu covered her face with her hands and glanced at the white-robed man: "Crippled man, it's time!"

Ren Shaoyang nodded, casually made a gesture in the air, and shouted, "Big boss, help!"

Ding An was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly shouted at the top of his lungs with the little beggar, "Big boss, help!"

The Great Sun Buddha, listening intently to the clamor of those three bumpkins from ten thousand feet below, slightly curled the corners of his mouth: "Hahaha, begging for help? It's better to rely on yourself than on others. I'd like to see who dares to try and please this old monk."

"Oh, you're so arrogant?" A muffled voice pierced through the void.

Immediately, a large hand reached out.

Bang Bang Bang ~!

In the void before the Great Sun Tathagata, a series of explosions resounded like firecrackers.

The explosion dispersed the dark clouds, revealing the bright moon in the sky.

Amidst the chaos of the riot, a burly figure draped in a cloak strode forward and, with a snap, seized the hair of the Great Sun Buddha!

The leader's imposing face drew closer, his tiger-like eyes wide open, and he roared, "You bald thief, do you want me to please you?"

The Buddha's eyes widened in surprise: "Who are you? No, what kind of deity are you?"

"You fucking don't even recognize me, Yan?" The leader grew angrier as he spoke. "What a damn bald monk who doesn't know his own mortality!" Before he finished speaking, Bang Bang delivered two punches!

The fists rose and fell with the force of a cataclysmic earthquake, creating a deafening roar that echoed throughout the land, while the sea surged and crashed.

The Great Sun Tathagata was struck so hard that fire blazed from his seven orifices. Immediately, a great light shone from between his eyebrows, and he struck out with a series of powerful blows, accompanied by chanting and sermons that illuminated the ten directions.

"Hmm?" The leader's thick eyebrows furrowed. "You still dare to resist?" As the leader raised his palm to meet the attack with all his might, he suddenly swept his leg across.

Boom!

The lotus throne of Vairocana Buddha shattered, and the tibiae of both of his lower legs broke at the same time, and he was about to fall.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the leader grabbed his hair bun, shook it a few times, and then slammed it into the air like a sandbag!
With a crack, the void shattered, and the Great Sun Tathagata vanished without a trace.

The leader laughed loudly: "It's no fun with just a bald monk like you!" With that, he pulled with both hands, and the void rift instantly expanded into the size of a portal, where several figures could be vaguely seen, and they cried out in surprise.

There are demons wielding ferocious swords, half-bald Hu monks, and goddesses with human bodies and snake tails.

The leader stood high in the sky, arms crossed, his cloak fluttering in the wind. He looked at these figures and a smirk appeared on his lips.

"Gentlemen, I, Yan, have set up a fighting arena in the void, but I need some gods and demons to act as wrestlers."

The burly man chuckled maliciously, "I hope you'll take the initiative and not disappoint me!" With that, he rubbed his hands together and, amidst the screams of the phantoms, slipped into the portal.

The three villains below were all petrified by this sudden and swift change.

They tilted their heads back, reluctant to lower them for a long time.

Hongxiu exclaimed as if in a dream: "Crippled man, is this the leader?"

Ren Shaoyang glanced at her sideways: "He is your great-grandfather."

"My great-great-grandfather," Hongxiu pointed to herself, her face full of disbelief, "what, even more fierce than me?"

"Oh my God!"

Ding An stroked his bald head: "Chief, has this wiped out all the gods and demons in the world in one fell swoop?"

"Yes!" Hongxiu said in a low voice, "Are they going to capture them and make them fight against other gods and demons?!" Turning to the white-robed man, she asked, "Crippled man, will you still be able to summon my great-grandfather in the future?"

“This is tough!” Ren Shaoyang shrugged. “The Jianhe River is completely dry, not a single drop is left.”

"Then what are we waiting for?!" Hongxiu suddenly shouted, jumping three feet high. "Let's go find something of great fortune! With my great-grandfather around, I'll be able to walk sideways!"

"Hurry up!"

"Sail home!"
-
P.S.: The story of Feng Yun has come to an end here. I originally wanted to write about the Three Villains fighting the Three Laughs, but I felt it wouldn't be very interesting.

So it was drastically changed to Old Swallow capturing Tathagata, which can be considered as filling the gap in the Sword River summoning.

As for the duel between Ren Jianshen, Wuming, Mu Yingxiong, and Long'er, it can be held in the Sword Realm later.

Goodnight, muah!
