Chapter 91 The Third

It was nearly 3 a.m.

The community center gathered all those involved in the case.

Xia Chuan was the last to arrive at the scene.

After parting ways with Princess Thorn, he returned to the Kawashima family to destroy the evidence, and then went to Ken Nishimoto's house.

I've been busy most of the night.

If he hadn't received Anya's call, he would have already gone back to sleep.

He glanced around and noticed that Uncle Mori had somehow ended up sitting on the sofa with his head down.

"Did you bring Asai Narumi?" Inspector Megure asked anxiously. This was the culprit that Mori pointed out after he fell asleep, so there was no mistake.

“Here.” Natsukawa stepped aside, revealing Asai Narumi, who had been somewhat silent behind him.

"Natsukawa, where was Asai Narumi when you found her?"

Natsukawa replied, "When I was looking for Dr. Asai, I happened to pass by Nishimoto Ken's house and saw him preparing to climb over the corner of Nishimoto Ken's house."

Everyone:.
It seems like they knew the real culprit right away.

"It was you! You killed my father! I remember it clearly, you were on Moonshadow Island when Kameyama Yu died. Did you kill all three of them?!"

Reiko Kuroiwa was like a shrew; if her boyfriend hadn't stopped her, she would have grabbed Narumi Asai's hair.

"Alright! Quiet down and listen to Mori's reasoning."

Inspector Megure stood ramrod straight; it seemed Mori was finally about to unleash his power!

"Dr. Asai, shouldn't you tell us your real name now? You're not called Asai Narumi, right? Or rather, your surname isn't Asai."

Asai Narumi's clasped hands trembled slightly, and his expression changed a little.

"It seems I guessed it right."

Natsukawa clicked his tongue in amazement. Wasn't anyone paying attention to Conan peeking out from behind the sofa where Kogoro Mouri was sitting?

Seeing Asai Narumi bow her head and remain silent, Conan continued using the voice changer on his bow tie: "Your name should be Asai Narumi, right? You are the son of Asai Keiji, who died twelve years ago."

"Twelve years ago, when your father died, he left behind a strange musical score that recorded the fact that he had a son named Asagi Minami. That's why I made the connection to you."

"what!"

Everyone exclaimed in unison, their jaws nearly dropping from shock at what they had just heard.

son?

No matter how you look at it, Asai Narumi doesn't look like a boy at all!
Aside from being quite ordinary, there's nothing about her that doesn't resemble a girl.

"You probably haven't seen the musical scores your father left behind."

Conan grabbed Kogoro Mouri's hand and beckoned, "Ania! Show him the sheet music. Then play the video on the TV."

Anya, dressed in a black suit, diligently carried out her task, looking every bit like a detective's assistant.

A minute later, after reading the coded message on the sheet music, Asai Narumi couldn't help but shed tears from the corners of her eyes.

His father told him in the letter to live well and not to seek revenge for him.

After watching it, Asai Narumi felt weak in the legs and collapsed to the ground.

Then, a video recorded by Anya began playing on television, detailing everything Asai Narumi had done.

There's one place I'm really curious about.

"what is the place?"

Asai Narumi looked up at Mouri Kogoro.

"Who are your accomplices and why did you invite me to Moonshadow Island?"

Asai Narumi paused for a moment: "No, I didn't have any accomplices, and I didn't kill anyone. I was going to make my move, but someone else did it before me."

“I was following you all from the village office when Chief Kuroiwa died, so I didn’t have time to commit the crime. Hideo Kawashima died before I got to his house, and all I did was leave behind the sheet music and the tape recorder.”

"As for why you hired a famous detective?" Asai Narumi smiled wryly and remained silent for a few seconds. "Probably because he hopes someone can stop me."

Conan continued, "If you didn't kill them, then why did you leave behind the sheet music and the Moonlight Sonata?" "I originally intended to kill them, and I did indeed have a detailed plan. But I never expected that someone would kill them before me."

Asai Shigemi then sneered:
"But that's normal, after all, people who sell that kind of stuff never have a good ending!"

The reason I left behind the sheet music and the Moonlight Sonata was initially as a premonition of murder. They all understood this code, so I wanted to use it to frighten them and then let them die in fear.

Asai Narumi's remarks sent chills down the spines of everyone present. Was this still the same angel in white?

"After discovering that they had died one after another, I changed my approach and left the sheet music and Moonlight Sonata at the scene of their deaths as a way to commemorate my deceased father."

"Were the high heel prints left by you or your accomplices when you went up the mountain?" Conan asked.

Asai Shigemi shook his head: "I have never been up the mountain, nor do I have any accomplices."

Inspector Megure's eyes widened in surprise as he listened intently, but he frowned slightly when he learned that the murder case involved such a transaction.

Then, Asai Narumi explained in detail what happened to Keiji Aso and the other five people back then.

"That's why Kuroiwa and Kawashima had the money to bribe the villagers, and Nishimoto Ken too. I was wondering how an unemployed bum could live so carefree. Now I understand."

Masato Shimizu's lips curled up completely as he coldly said, "These two people are not worthy of being candidates for village chief like me."

"You bastard!" Reiko Kuroiwa gritted her teeth and wanted to slap Masato Shimizu, but Inspector Megure stopped her.

"I see!" Inspector Megure waved his hand. "Someone, find Ken Nishimoto. He must know something. No wonder he didn't come earlier; he must be feeling guilty."

Conan's rhythm was suddenly interrupted.

They were currently processing Asai Narumi's explanation.

Asai Shigeaki was following them when Kuroiwa Tatsuji died;

Hideo Kawashima died around 12:30 a.m., at which time Shigemi Asai was setting up a tape recorder and blood-written musical score at the village office.
When Hideo Kawashima's body was dumped, he was setting up a tape recorder and blood-written sheet music at Kawashima's house.

There's an alibi every single time, it's such an absurd coincidence!

This must be a conspiracy they planned in advance!
That's right, Conan nodded to himself.

"Oh no!"

The officer's voice made Inspector Megure frown.

He heard too much bad news that night.

I thought we could find the culprit after Mori fell into a deep sleep, but it turns out the culprit isn't Asai Narumi.

"what's going on?"

"Nishimoto Ken is dead!"

Even though Inspector Megure had gotten used to the pace of Tsukikage Island, he was still stunned by this shocking case.

"I think Asai Narumi is not involved in the case. The murderer is clearly someone else."

It was Shimizu Masato who spoke, but no one paid him any attention.

All the hot-blooded men's eyes were focused on Uncle Mori; at this moment, nothing could compare to the interesting reasoning of the famous detective Kogoro Mori.

Xia Chuan curiously sized him up several times. This guy hadn't said a word all day, so why did he suddenly appear at this moment?

Could it be that this guy really invited the Thorn Princess?
It's not impossible.

"How did Ken Nishimoto die?" the sleeping detective asked.

"His head and body were separated; only his head remained in his home, while his body had just fallen off a cliff."

Xia Chuan was not surprised by this. In fact, when he arrived at the Nishimoto family, Nishimoto Ken was already just a head.

His head was lying on the table, and blood was flowing all over the floor.

Princess Thorn's efficiency is astonishing.

Inspector Megure let out a long sigh.

Damn it, I really need to lose weight today. I've already run back and forth between several places four or five times, and all of them on foot.
