Chapter 69 The Realm of Space

Chapter 69 The Realm of Space
Lan Tian had an idea for how to escape this secret spatial realm. He needed to condense five enormous energy lightning balls, each imbued with his own consciousness and controllable by him. The more energy, the better. He would have everyone contribute their energy to these five energy balls, then divide them into five groups, each carrying one energy ball, and travel in one direction for one day, leaving one energy ball behind each day.

Lan Tian and the Yu brothers stayed where they were, while Qin Lei and the three temple disciples carried the four energy balls and sped down. Every other day, one person and one energy ball were left behind. After four days, energy balls were left in all positions. On the fifth day at noon, everyone pushed the five energy balls together towards the center on the right. These energy balls, carrying a trace of Lan Tian's consciousness, gradually gathered together. Everyone stayed where they were to strengthen their defenses to avoid injury. Under Lan Tian's conscious control, the five huge energy balls slowly gathered together to form an even larger energy ball. This super energy ball stopped right in the center of the cyclic space and exploded instantly.

"Boom, rumble!"

This energy impact caused the entire circulating space to shake violently, with light and shadow intertwining. The shockwave spread in all directions, shattering the energy cycle here completely. Crackling sounds rang out incessantly as the interstellar space here was disintegrating and slowly collapsing. A spacetime rift appeared at the center of the explosion.

Having narrowly escaped destruction, everyone quickly moved towards the spacetime rift. Once the rift was destroyed, they wouldn't be able to leave. Therefore, Lantian and the others swiftly gathered at the rift to leave as quickly as possible. In an instant, everyone disappeared into the spacetime rift. Shortly afterward, another massive explosion occurred, completely collapsing the area, and this circular space vanished.

After everyone escaped from the crack, a flash of light and shadow brought them back to the center of the palace they had just entered, back to the three stone gates. However, this time, the middle stone gate no longer emitted any energy fluctuations. With a collapse, the entire stone gate disappeared, leaving only two stone gates in front of them, as if the middle stone gate had never existed.

"Young Master Lan, what's our next step?" Qin Lei asked. He didn't know which of the remaining two stone doors to choose, but it seemed that all three stone doors were checkpoints that had to be passed, just in different orders.

"Let's go to the right one. We'll probably all have to go in, so let's start with the right one first." Lan Tian felt that we should go through all three stone gates, it was just a matter of order. Regardless, let's go to the right one first. Everyone had just gone through the loop space and had used up too much energy. After resting for a while and recovering, they went directly into the right stone gate.

After a flash of white light, they found themselves on a deserted island. Surrounded by surging ocean, the island was relatively lush with trees, teeming with birds and animals, and fish swam to and fro along the streams—a scene of peace and tranquility. There was nothing unusual about the place.

“There’s nothing unusual here. How are we going to get through this?” Yu Jiachen said. He couldn’t see anything strange about this place; it was just an isolated island.

Blue Sky realized that this place must also be a space, but what kind of space? We need to observe carefully and find a solution. This island must be the center of this space; there's no way out from the surrounding areas. The problem lies on this island.

"The sky and the surrounding ocean should be fine. Let's split up and search around the island. Everyone should gather here before dark to build a cabin." After saying this, Qin Lei looked at everyone's reaction, and they all agreed. The several high-level experts built a cabin, which was completed in no time. With everything done, everyone split up to explore the surrounding areas.

Lan Tian flew alone along the coast, finding nothing unusual on the shore or beach. After a day of searching, Lan Tian discovered nothing. He circled back to the cabin. The island wasn't very large, and after wandering around for a while, they returned to the cabin. They searched the area but found nothing particularly special, except for a small, inconspicuous tower in the mountains, which suggested human activity in the area.

Everyone decided to go see the tower together and see what was so special about it. From a distance, it just looked like a three-story stone tower, a landmark, nothing special. It was a little over two meters wide and six meters high. Reaching out to touch it, they felt it must have been built a very, very long time ago, as it was covered in a thick layer of dust.

With no clues, everyone calmed down, went hunting and barbecuing to get a good night's rest, and decided to think of something tomorrow. They were all exhausted! They almost couldn't get out of that spatial loop. The host had said there might be some secret of the Sky City here, or that some divine artifact might appear, but now it seems there's nothing. This place has become a prison; if they can't get out, they'll just have to live out their lives here.

When everyone woke up, they were surprised to find that the wooden cabin they had built the day before was gone! They were all lying on the ground, surrounded by peace and quiet. It was just like when they had entered the house yesterday, except that it was morning now, and yesterday it was noon.

Everyone found it very strange; they had to start all over again. Working together, they rebuilt the cabin. This time, they searched the island thoroughly. Still, they found nothing, unsure where to begin or how to leave. The day ended without any results; they hadn't found a way out.

They spent the night in a sullen mood. When they woke up the next morning, everything had changed. The wooden house that they had worked so hard to rebuild the day before was gone, vanished once again.

"Wow, my things are back!" Yu Jiajie exclaimed curiously, discovering that the things he had used yesterday had returned perfectly. Everyone looked at their own belongings from yesterday, and they had truly reappeared. It was so strange; the things they had used had come back, and everything was exactly as it had been yesterday.

"Everyone, think back to when we first came in. Is it the same now? Is it back to normal overnight?" Lan Tian wondered if this space was a repeating cycle space, where everything would return to normal the next day.

"Yes, yes, it's just like when we first came in. Only the time is different," Qin Lei said, wondering what kind of space this was.

"I discovered that this space returns to its original state at night, and everything that was changed before is restored." Lan Tian discovered the pattern here: at night, everything that had been altered would be restored to its original state. However, what's the use of discovering this? We need a way to solve it.
