If I do the math, this novel has been in the works for over a year now, from the moment I started writing it.

Over the past year, there have been countless late nights spent working at my desk, moments of anxiety and struggle when I was stuck writing, and moments of exhilaration when I was writing exciting plots. But what has supported me all the way is you all on the other side of the screen: every reader's reading, every encouraging comment, and every wait for the next update is like a ray of light illuminating my creative path.

I especially want to thank those friends who have followed the story all the way.

You might be someone who faithfully updates every day, or someone who quietly likes, saves, and donates, or someone who writes long reviews in the comments section and discusses the plot with me.

It is your unwavering support, your comments, your silent encouragement, your urging for updates and your tolerance that gave me the courage and motivation to write this novel step by step to a length of nearly 300 million words.

I'm not afraid to admit it, but before this, I had never created a work of such length. In fact, when I first started writing, I never imagined that I could persevere and develop this story to its current scale.

It is your support that allowed me to break through my limits and gave this story a more complete and vibrant life.

Looking back at the nearly 300 million words of the plot, there are the bloody battles on the battlefield, the growth and transformation of the characters, the gradual unveiling of conspiracies, the firsthand experience of the international situation of World War II and the protagonist's insights, as well as moments of warmth.

I know that there are bound to be shortcomings on the creative journey. Perhaps some plots may feel drawn out, some settings may leave you wondering, and some characters may evoke both love and hate. But you have always accompanied me with an inclusive attitude, giving me suggestions and pointing me in the right direction. I will always remember this trust and favor, and I have been working hard to polish the plot, hoping to present you with a more exciting and rigorous story.

A new year, a new journey. I also have a clear plan for the creation of this novel that I would like to share with everyone.

This novel will be officially completed this year. Yes, after more than a year of groundwork and development, the main storyline has gradually become clear, and the core conflict is about to come to an end. I will do my best to polish the final part of the plot, giving every character in the book, and all of you who have been following along, a satisfactory and fulfilling ending.

Meanwhile, the plot will also undergo a major upgrade in the new year.

More exciting battlefield battles, and more subversive plot twists.

Next, I will introduce a series of "advanced yet logical" technological weapons. These weapons will not appear out of thin air, but will fit the story background and the development of technology. They will set off a brand new storm on the battlefield, completely subvert the old-era army's combat understanding, break the pattern of traditional battlefields, and present you with more exciting, shocking and impactful battle scenes.

Imagine what sparks would fly when old-fashioned rifles and cannons collide with jet fighters, rockets, missiles, dirty bombs, or even nuclear weapons.
When established combat thinking is broken, what kind of game and contest will unfold between the two sides?

All of these will be revealed in this year's storyline.

The new year is both a farewell to the old and a welcome to the new; it is both the end of a story and the continuation of our companionship.

I will live up to everyone's expectations, focus on refining the storyline, and live up to every trust placed in me and every moment of waiting.
