Chapter 130 Is this your beast form?
Like a trapped beast on the verge of death, the Marquis of Nevernight held onto Fuying tightly.

He forcefully pried open her lips and teeth, almost violently seizing her breath. The smell of blood spread, and the butterfly pattern on her cheek seemed to come alive, shimmering as if it wanted to take flight.

Their breaths mingled, as if they were locked in a life-or-death struggle.

He suddenly ripped open the red veil, the tearing sound particularly jarring in the rain.

The next moment, the Marquis of Nevernight suddenly stopped, looking at the several red marks that had not yet faded on her snow-white skin.

He sneered and bit down hard, his teeth piercing through the flesh, covering the red marks again, imprinting his own mark and scent inch by inch.

Fuying didn't even frown.

She looked up, her gaze passing over his taut shoulders, and down to the magnificent twelve butterfly wings behind him. The iridescent scales shimmered with phosphorescence, a unique color even on the beastman continent.

"Is this your beast form?" Fu Ying gently traced the edge of the butterfly's wing with her fingertips.

"The Zerg's method of reproduction... is different from that of ordinary orcs."

The Lord of Nevernight lowered his eyes and gazed at Fuying, a dark light swirling in his seven-colored pupils. His cold fingertips slowly traced across Fuying's chest: "I will use your body to give birth to the strongest offspring."

His voice was thin and cold like ice, yet it revealed an undisguised brutality.

Fu Ying's fingertips were still resting on his butterfly wing. Hearing this, she couldn't help but chuckle: "So, you want to use me as a breeding ground?"

The Undying Marquis grabbed her wrist, his wings trembled, and dreamlike, seven-colored scales scattered down.

His thin lips brushed against her ear, his breath icy: "Your flesh and blood, your magic power, will be the best nourishment, until my offspring emerge from your body like butterflies from their cocoons."

Fuying looked into his seven-colored compound pupils and suddenly smiled.

She laughed so hard she nearly fell over, her slender fingers tracing his waistline and back before she suddenly flipped him over, pinning him beneath her: "That sounds much more interesting than just mating."

The enormous butterfly wings of the Nightless Marquis suddenly unfurled, their seven-colored scales shimmering and weaving together to create a forbidden area.

He gazed intently at Fuying, who sat on his waist, her fingertips gently caressing his wing membranes, causing the enormous twelve butterfly wings to tremble slightly, like silk swaying in the wind.

"Um……"

The Marquis of Nevernight frowned suddenly, and a low groan escaped his throat.

Where Fu Ying's fingertips touched, it was as if struck by an electric current, a tingling shiver spreading along the nerve endings. For the Zerg, the sensitivity of the wing membrane was no less than that of the Orc's tail.

"Are you shy?" Fu Ying leaned down, her red lips brushing against his earlobe.

"Such a wild and untamed face, yet at this moment it wears such a restrained and impatient expression, makes one even more want to bully it. Sure enough, you always want people to make an exception."

The Marquis of Nevernight's seven-colored compound pupils contracted, and a dark, iridescent light surged within them.

As Fu Ying's fingertips moved about, Bu Ye Hou suddenly looked up, fine beads of sweat appearing on his forehead, his Adam's apple bobbing rapidly.

Between their chests pressed close together, the uncontrolled pounding of their hearts was deafening, and with each beat, Fuying's eyes flushed with an even more vibrant red.

The burning heat surging deep within her skin spread like an undercurrent, causing subtle ripples to appear on her fingertips.

The Marquis of Nevernight suddenly tensed up, his knuckles unconsciously clenching.

His beautiful pupils were slightly dilated, and the swaying figure of the fuying was reflected in his iris.

As consciousness ebbed and flowed, memories tore like gauze—the image of the bone knife piercing his throat flashed before his eyes, but the splattering blood in his memory paled in comparison to the captivating glow in the corner of her eyes now. Could this being he once loathed truly transform into something else entirely?

The last line of defense collapsed with a deafening roar, every inch of its texture transforming into submissive waves, surging towards the warm light source.

But his reason was extremely clear, and he was begging him to stay away.

The Undying Marquis clenched his teeth, the taste of rust emanating from between them. It was as if as long as he remained silent, this fallen body would have nothing to do with his clear-headed, hateful soul, Fu Ying. Yet, his taut waist betrayed him.

Fu Ying's narrow eyes slanted upwards as she looked at the stubborn and seemingly forced appearance of the Nightless Marquis. Suddenly, she chuckled and traced her fingertips along his tense jawline.

She bent down, her red lips gently pressed against his bobbing Adam's apple: "Speak..."

"The more tense you are, the more I want to hear your voice." As she spoke, she heard the sound that escaped from his throat with satisfaction.

The Marquis of Nevernight stared intently at Fuying, his eyes swirling with a dark, multicolored undercurrent.

His long, slender fingers dug into the tree trunk, the bark cracking beneath his fingertips, sawdust embedding itself in his flesh, causing a slight pain, but still unable to withstand the shiver she brought.

Reason and body were completely separated, as if the whole person had been torn in two.

He was like a butterfly being frantically dragged into a swamp by the fuying tree, covered in filth, sinking deeper and deeper.

Suddenly, the Undying Marquis reached out and grabbed Fuying's waist, flipped her over, and the two tumbled into the fallen leaves of the tree canopy. He held her waist, and the two were like beasts locked in a life-or-death struggle.

Fu Ying looked at the Nightless Marquis who had taken the initiative, but did not argue with him. She gently stroked his sweaty brow bone with her fingertips.

The Marquis of Nevernight had a very aggressive and wild face. His brow bone pressed down on his pair of eerie, seven-colored eyes, and when his eyelids were lowered, he exuded a natural killing intent.

His glassy eyes were tinged with a thin layer of red, yet still held a chilling coldness.

Fuying's fingertips gently traced his eyebrows and eyes, her voice low and soft, almost bewitching: "Let's... start over, okay?"

The Marquis of Nevernight did not stop moving, but only glanced at her with his eyes lowered, remaining silent as a deep pool.

After an unknown amount of time, Fuying grew weary and leaned against the tree trunk, too lazy to even lift his fingertips.

When the Lord of Nevernight left, she didn't even have the strength to lift her eyes. She only felt someone pull her clothes closer to shield her from the cold.

The Marquis of Nevernight lowered his eyes and looked at Fuying, who was curled up in a ball. Her jade-like skin was covered with red marks.

His brows and eyes were filled with gloom, and his seven-colored pupils were churning with sinister intent.

After watching for an unknown amount of time, the Marquis of Nightless City let out a low, hoarse chuckle, uttering a few obscure syllables. Instantly, a rustling sound rang out.

The swarm of insects surged up the tree trunk and surrounded the fuying tree in an instant.

The Marquis of Nevernight gazed at her silently for a moment, his butterfly wings slowly unfurling behind him, a sight of exquisite beauty.

He withdrew his gaze from Fuying, his seven-colored eyes filled with indifference, then pierced the night sky, stirring up the remaining ambiguous atmosphere, transforming into a magnificent stream of light, tearing through the rain curtain, and leaving.

He and Fuying could never start over.

It was sent back countless times, and the revised version no longer had the same feel as the original draft.
