Chapter 4 Teasing the Mermaid Beast Husband
She didn't die. None of the seven beastmen succeeded in breaking their pact, and they will definitely come back to kill her.

Since she had no interest in looking for anyone anyway, she might as well find a place, build herself a retirement home, and wait for her beast husbands to come to her, get medical treatment on the spot, and then have babies? Just thinking about it made her happy, and Fuying couldn't help but smile.

Suddenly, a noise came from the deep pool ahead.

Fu Ying glanced at it curiously, and ripples spread out in circles on the water.

The next moment, a flash of azure light appeared, and Dan Yue emerged from the stream, holding two fish in her hands.

His upper body floated on the water, water droplets rolled down his chest, slid over his waist, and finally disappeared into his sexy mermaid line.

Two plump fish were wagging their tails, looking very lively.

Upon seeing Dan Yue, Fu Ying blinked, and in an instant met his cold eyes. His light blue eyes were no longer clear, and his pupils turned into vertical pupils, filled with a beast-like chilling ferocity.

Fu Ying wasn't afraid and smiled at him, saying, "What a coincidence."

After seeing Fuying clearly, Dan Yue's vertical pupils faded, and she looked straight at her, her voice like a thin, cold icy line: "I will take the fish back. You don't need to keep an eye on me. Before you starve to death, I will also take back the tail scale."

Tail scales?

Fu Ying thought for a moment, then frowned slightly.

The oasis tribe was brutally slaughtered, and the beastmen were determined to take the original owner's life, as evidenced by the fatal wound on the back of his head.

But the original owner wasn't stupid. Before fainting, she grabbed Dan Yue's arm tightly and said only one sentence, which allowed the simple-minded merman beast husband to take her away and escape from the troublesome place of the oasis tribe.

"Dan Yue, do you still want your shark scales back? Save me!"

The original owner was a fox, intelligent and cunning, and knew all too well how painful the memory of losing her mermaid tail was for Dan Yue.

Unable to return to the sea, unable to go back to his tribe, and unable to see his family again, he has always had a strong desire to get his shark scales back. Perhaps after getting his things back, he can transform back into his shark form and return to his tribe?
However, the original owner was selfish and self-serving, and even though she disliked the mermaid tail skirt, she was unwilling to return it to Dan Yue.

After all, Dan Yue was beautiful, which matched the original owner's aesthetic. Moreover, she was a five-star patterned beastman. Even though her star pattern was broken after her tail scales fell off, and her lifespan was greatly reduced, she was still incomparable to ordinary beastmen. Being her beastman husband would be both prestigious and pleasing to the eye.

Dan Yue took the original owner away from the oasis tribe, but the latter died from his injuries, and Dan Yue had to clean up the mess.

Unfortunately, after wearing it for only one rainy season, the original owner lost interest in the mermaid tail skirt and casually threw it away, and it was very likely that it had already been picked up by another beastman.

After all, it is a rare item made of shark scales. In the eyes of land beastmen, it is a treasure that they will never encounter in their entire lives. Even in the tribal trade fair, the shark tail skirt can be exchanged for enough prey and salt stones.

Fu Ying sighed. It seemed he still had to go back to the Oasis Tribe.

Before Fu Ying could speak, Dan Yue glanced at her waist and abdomen with disgust, then limped away after getting ashore.

She glanced down at the shimmering blue fishtail on her waist and abdomen, pursed her lips, looked up at Dan Yue's departing figure without hesitation, and couldn't help but look at her exquisite and charming figure again. In his eyes, it was completely unattractive.

It seems she needs to reassess Dan Yue's hatred for the original owner, a hatred that is almost indistinguishable from the instincts of a beastman.

Although orcs can transform into human form, they are still beasts at heart, with primal desires that are hard to control. These desires drive them to fight and plunder. But the way Dan Yue looked at her just now was no different from looking at a dead fish.

Fuying went ashore, looked at her dirty animal skin skirt, and decisively took out a set of clothes from her spatial storage and put them on.

She touched the outfit with great care, having originally planned to wear it when she retired and lay on the beach.

In the animal kingdom, you have to adapt to local customs. If you can't wear a fur skirt, wearing a bikini shouldn't be a problem, right?
Fuying walked around town in a bikini, showing off large swaths of her fair skin.

When she returned to the cave, she immediately saw Dan Yue sitting at the entrance.

He didn't go in. On the ground in front of him lay a large, clean leaf, with two fish lying side by side, already dead. Hearing Fuying's footsteps, he didn't even raise his head, and said indifferently, "The fire has been extinguished."

Although the words were not finished, Fuying understood: the fire was out, so there was no way to grill the fish; they would just have to make do with what they had.

She didn't say anything, but looked at the two fresh, plump fish, her narrow eyes blinking slightly.

Compared to the ruthlessness of other beastmen, Dan Yue was incredibly kind and compassionate. Perhaps because the original owner was the reason he came ashore, even though he harbored hatred, he never considered killing him. His only thought was to retrieve the tail scale and return to the sea. After escaping the oasis tribe, the original owner was in a daze and Dan Yue was the one who fed and cared for him.

Despite the ironclad rule of the Beastman Continent that males must support females, Fu Ying didn't think that after everything that had happened, Dan Yue still had a reason to support the original owner. He was truly pure and kind, but unfortunately, the original owner had destroyed everything.

Fuying didn't touch the two fish, and very consciously walked over and sat down next to Danyue.

Suddenly, a pair of long, shapely, and fair legs appeared in Dan Yue's lowered gaze.

His expression changed, and he suddenly stood up, taking a few steps away from Fuying before he could see her clothes clearly.

The bright red bodice was held up by a thin strap, making her appear radiantly white.

Her slender waist, so delicate it could be encircled by a single hand, stretched out slightly, her breasts rippling, making one blush and unconsciously arouse a reaction.

Dan Yue looked at her and her expression changed repeatedly before she turned to run away.

Fu Ying chuckled, grabbed his arm, and spun him around: "Am I pretty?"

It's human nature to crave food and sex; liking beautiful things is a common human trait. There's nothing wrong with being open and honest about matters between men and women.

Dan Yue closed her eyes, neither looking at her nor speaking, but a blush appeared on her pale skin.

Fu Ying glanced at him a few times, her gaze shifting downwards to a place that was best left unsaid. She curved her lips into a smile and said, "Dan Yue, you are my beast husband. Why are you being so polite? Let's go back. We can continue what we didn't finish yesterday today."

Upon hearing this, Dan Yue suddenly opened her eyes, broke free from her hand, and looked at her quietly, her voice clear and indifferent.

“I am just a beastman with broken star patterns. I can’t have offspring and I can’t protect you. You are of no use to me. I took you away from the oasis tribe and let you live. Now you should return my tail scale.”

As he spoke, his light blue eyes were filled with defensiveness and annoyance, and he appeared very alert.

Fu Ying glanced at him, then sat back down listlessly, pausing her deadly flirting.

She looked at Dan Yue, pursed her lips and said, "Tail Scale is in the Oasis Tribe, I have to go back."

Upon hearing this, Dan Yue was slightly surprised, then frowned and looked at Fu Ying: "Are you willing to return to the Oasis Tribe just to get the tail scale?"

That place is inhabited by people from the Cangshan tribe; it's extremely dangerous. Going back now would be suicide.

Fu Ying's face was expressionless: "The Oasis Tribe is gone. My father is dead, and my mother is dead. I have to go back and see them. Besides, your tail scale is in the Oasis Tribe. If I don't go back, how can I get it to you?"

She didn't care about the Cangshan tribe or anything like that, but she really needed to get the tail scale back.

As one of the male protagonists, Dan Yue's problem is that he has lost his tail scale and his star pattern is broken. As long as he can find it and rebuild his tail to restore his vitality, he can have a child. Therefore, getting back the tail scale is of utmost importance.

As for the construction of retirement homes, it can only be put on hold for the time being.

Dan Yue didn't care whether she went back to her death or not; he only cared about whether he could get the tail scale. He asked, "When are you leaving?"

Fu Ying said, "I'll go back by myself. You just wait here. I can sense that they haven't gone far."

As she spoke, she reached down and touched her lower back, where the markings were located. These markings allowed her to sense the movements of her beastmen, though only in a very vague way, unlike a GPS that could pinpoint their location precisely.

Dan Yue glanced at her movements and said indifferently, "Even if you die, I won't be able to get the tail scale back."

Fu Ying smiled knowingly: "Worried about me? Don't worry, I still want to have children with you, I won't die."

Dan Yue showed no reaction to these words, her attitude was very cold, and she turned and left.

"I can't have babies."

The clear voice was filled with coldness, and it came from his back as he walked away.
