Chapter 57 Where You Go, I Go
Starry Sky stared wide-eyed, exclaiming in surprise, "Teng's beast crystal?! You actually came from the bottom of Thorn Cliff..."

Looking at the smiling face before him, Teng felt a pang of pain in his heart. He pursed his lips tightly and, after a long while, reached out his hand, but instead of taking the beast crystal, he gently wiped the wild fruit juice from her lips with his slender fingertips.

His face was pale, and his voice was low and hoarse: "Are you scared?"

Fuying noticed the tenderness in his movements, her eyes brightened, and she rubbed her cheek against his calloused hand, shaking her head and saying, "Don't be afraid! I told you I would find it for you."

She tilted her head, still smiling, and said, "You'll recover soon!"

Looking at her, Teng felt a surge of pain in his heart, which rushed to his throat, making it difficult for him to make a sound.

It doesn't seem like it hurt this much when the beast crystal was dug out.

“Brother, you should thank... Hua Hua, if it weren’t for her…” Mo Yan’s voice came, and Fu Ying’s eyes, which were pressed against Teng’s palm, flickered slightly, a cold glint flashing in them.

“If it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have been able to enter the giant lizard tribe so easily. Alright, it’s almost time. You just brought people over, so take all the females from the Cangshan tribe back with you.”

Upon hearing this, Teng and Xingkong were both stunned for a moment. They looked at Fuying, who nodded and said, "Let's take them back first. We can talk about anything else when we get back to the Cangshan tribe. By the way, don't hurt these giant lizard people."

Hearing her say that, Teng and Xingkong exchanged a glance and said nothing more.

The group split up and quickly found all the females of the Cangshan tribe, including Lan and Momu.

However, these females were all in very poor condition.

Fu Ying frowned, inwardly cursing the giant lizard tribe for being inhuman.

Besides the females of the Cangshan tribe, there are also the heavily armored ones and the shamans of the giant lizard tribe.

Fuying, munching on wild fruit, asked in confusion, "What about the females from the Half-Mountain Tribe? Aren't they going to take them back?"

Mo Yan silently swam to Fu Ying's side, flicked his tongue, and calmly said, "These females contributed to the success of the heavy armor this time. Since you don't want to stay in the Cangshan tribe, then stay here."

Fu Ying merely shrugged indifferently, showing no concern whatsoever for the females of the Banshan tribe.

Green Mountain may have been good at pretending to be honest, but behind her back he still sold her out completely.

Even if Mo Yan had reasons for coercion and threats, betrayal is betrayal. The fact that she didn't go to Mo Yan's door to slit her throat is already an act of kindness and consideration for their past acquaintance.

In the distance, Teng found a giant, jet-black python covered in whip marks.

"Hiss—hiss—" The giant python weakly flicked its tongue, its vertical pupils locked tightly around Teng, and it emitted intermittent hissing sounds from its throat.

He looked down quietly, and after a long while, asked, "Your mother died for you, do you regret it?"

Upon hearing his words, the giant python's body stiffened abruptly, its scales making a soft rubbing sound in the dust.

He slowly lowered his head to the ground. Nobuko weakly reached out, but only managed to spit out half of it before drooping softly, like a withered vine. His slender eyes also closed on their deathbed.

Teng remained silent for a moment, then nodded, his dark green eyes suddenly becoming turbulent: "Of course I will live well, and I will find a female as good as my mother."

Xingkong ran over, glanced at the silent giant python, and pursed her lips.

After a long pause, he sighed and patted Teng's shoulder: "Don't be too sad."

Teng shook her head and said calmly, "I'm not sad."

He slightly raised his eyelashes, his gaze falling on Fuying in the distance.

When her gaze brushed past Mo Yan beside her, her pupils contracted almost imperceptibly for a moment.

In an instant, his brows relaxed, a gentle smile curved his lips, and even his raised voice softened: "Hua Hua—"

Mo Yan wanted to say more, but the call abruptly cut him off, his vertical pupils filled with displeasure. Fu Ying, however, was delighted, turned to look at Teng, and ran towards him without hesitation.

Mo Yan straightened its snake body, staring at Fu Ying's joyful back. Its scales, gleaming coldly in the moonlight, rustled, and its tongue flicked rapidly between its teeth.

He glanced at the large, jet-black snake lying on the ground and slowly slithered towards it.

"Teng!" Fu Ying ran over, like a fish, and slid into Teng's embrace. Her fingertips clung to his waist without leaving a trace, and her voice was sweet and charming as she did not miss any opportunity to win him over.

Teng reached out and put his arm around her, then looked at Mo Yan who had followed them.

"Father is dead..." Mo Yan glanced at him, his voice gloomy and indifferent as he spoke, seemingly showing no emotion towards the black serpent lying dead on the ground.

Fu Ying paused for a moment, looked down at the giant python, and blinked: "This is... the leader of Mo Shan?"

Teng responded softly, tightening his arms and pressing Fuying even deeper into his embrace.

He looked up at Mo Yan, his fingertips unconsciously stroking Fu Ying's hair, his voice as calm as if discussing the weather: "After sending the tribespeople back to the Cangshan tribe, I will leave, and the tribe will be in your hands from now on."

The unspoken meaning in his words was particularly clear in the night breeze.

He never considered vying for the position of leader of Cangshan with anyone.

If it weren't for an accident that led him to encounter a ruthless female, he would have been the strongest male dominating the North Mountain, and the most unruly "Snake King".

A carefree smile appeared on Xingkong's face as he replied, "Hey! Perfect timing, let's go to our Rift Sky Tribe!"

Fuying held him tightly, nodding and saying, "I'll follow you wherever you go!"

Seeing that Teng's attitude had softened, the strategy could be taken to the next level. Once he fused the beast crystal with Bai Cang and restored his star pattern, Bai Cang's cub would be born, allowing him to complete the mission without any gaps in his progress.

Teng looked down at her, a smile playing on his lips, and said softly, "Okay."

While Fu Ying was still plotting her mission, Mo Yan heard her words and his beastly eyes were filled with rage.

His voice was cold and harsh as he suppressed his anger, saying, "You've already agreed to the matter of the viper's saliva!"

Upon hearing this, Fu Ying frowned and asked doubtfully, "Isn't Gui a shaman? Doesn't he have the ability to pry open the mouth of the giant lizard tribe's shaman? Is he that incompetent? Is this beast god's messenger only good at sacrificing his tribesmen?"

When Gui carried Lan over, he happened to hear these words, and his lips twitched involuntarily.

Does she think everyone is like her?
Mo Yan's crimson vertical pupils contracted, and the snake's tail scraped against the ground with a harsh grinding sound. He stared into Fu Ying's eyes and said, word by word, "What you promise, you must do. 'Hua Hua,' the Cangshan tribe needs you."

He deliberately emphasized the word "Hua Hua," his voice carrying a sense of pressure, and Fu Ying could naturally hear the threat in his voice.

She gave a cold laugh, her eyes sharp and penetrating: "Wherever Teng goes, I will go."

What is she afraid of? At worst, she can start over.

Teng tightened his grip, his handsome eyes filled with boundless ferocity: "Mo Yan!"

The black tongue darted between the teeth, swept straight across the pillar, and the vertical pupil locked onto Teng, causing ripples of blood to appear.

"Leave the Cangshan tribe?" He chuckled softly, his scarlet body writhing and his tail sweeping the ground. "Are you going to find Fuying? Taking Huahua with you? To have her avenge you?"

Mo Yanxinzi suddenly grew about an inch long, almost touching Teng's cheek.

"Teng, the feeling of having your beast crystal ripped out back then—"

"Haven't you had enough?"
