Chapter 15 Wrong Room

Chapter 15 Wrong Room

Over the years, Li Ke had witnessed all sorts of stunts among Hong Kong's wealthy families, but Xie Yuheng remained chaste and never got involved. Li Ke had been by his side for six years and had never seen him get close to any woman in private. Even his fiancée, Miss Murong, was someone he rarely saw, and when they did meet, she was cold and unapproachable.

The only time he lost his composure was six years ago.

At that time, Li Ke had just joined Xie Yuheng's side. At a banquet, Xie Yuheng, slightly drunk from wine, mistakenly entered a brothel.

Surrounded by beauties, Xie Yuheng neither took the initiative nor explicitly refused, and drank a few cups of wine offered by the beauties with their delicate hands.

But that slight, ambiguous encounter, which wasn't even worthy of being called indulgence, caused the woman he loved so deeply to turn around and fall into someone else's arms...

If it were any other rival, it wouldn't be a big deal. Given Xie Yuheng's methods and status, it wouldn't be a big deal for him to snatch her away with a little trickery.

But that 'other person' was someone Xie Yuheng couldn't touch...

Thinking of this, Li Ke suddenly remembered his trip to the coffee shop a few days ago.

At the time, he only felt that the woman looked somewhat familiar. It wasn't until he saw her in Yan Changye's arms today that he suddenly understood why Xie Yuheng had lost his temper so much. It turned out that she was that rose... dormant in the boss's heart.

Thinking of how his boss's "unrequited love" had also appeared at the banquet, Li Ke glanced at Xie Yuheng, who had been unusually silent all evening, with a slight tremor in his heart.

Upon hearing the words "Jiao Que Ju," Xie Yuheng was clearly reminded of that past event, and a hint of displeasure flashed in his usually cold eyes.

The powerful families were all seasoned experts at reading people's expressions, and they clearly sensed the port tycoon's displeasure. They immediately let out two dry laughs:
"It's alright if you don't want to be picky, Chairman Xie. Come on, we'll see you out."

A group of people also walked along that long corridor.

Xie Yuheng, with an aloof expression, walked through the corridor surrounded by a group of celebrities from the capital. To his left was a bright and dazzling glass greenhouse, filled with the sounds of laughter and chatter. Even the worldly men, without looking, knew that this was the Jiao Que Ju mentioned earlier.

Li Ke glanced at it casually, paused, then glanced at it a second time, his expression changing slightly.

Then, he coughed lightly and whispered to Xie Yuheng, "BOSS."

A group of people were still talking to Xie Yuheng when he received a suggestive look from his assistant Li Ke and casually glanced at the glass greenhouse next to him.

Then, their steps paused slightly.

The group had now reached the side elevator entrance leading to the parking lot of the hotel.

Even though you're several meters away from the glass greenhouse, you can still see everything inside clearly.

Xie Yuheng's gaze fell on the greenhouse and never left.

Upon seeing this, the prominent figures from the surrounding families who were still trying to strike up a conversation exchanged glances and, quite cooperatively, fell silent.

Inside the greenhouse, more than a dozen beauties had already noticed the group of top-tier wealthy men who had come out, but they pretended not to know and each of them used all their charms to show off their allure.

Amidst this vibrant and sensual style, Jiang Manman occasionally raises her bewildered eyes, looking at this and that, unaware that under the stylist's meticulous styling, she is naturally charming and extremely beautiful, yet also possesses the elegance of a graceful beauty. From the moment she stepped into the flower room, she became the unspoken enemy of all women.

At this moment, the banquet was almost over, and Jiang Manman, having waited for more than an hour, was already getting impatient.

She sat in the corner, occasionally bowing her head to paint. With her head slightly lowered, her fair neck was revealed. Her slightly brownish curly hair had been casually tied up at some point, making her bone structure even more alluring. Just looking at her profile was enough to amaze one.

Xie Yuheng watched quietly.

The March breeze carried a chill. He wasn't dressed lightly, but the chill of spring seeped into his heart, making his heart ache with a coldness.

Inside the glass greenhouse, Jiang Manman's patience finally ran out.

She sent a message to Yan Changye:

Jiang Manman: [Are you done with your work over there? Shall we go home together?]

Y: [So fast?] Y: [I thought it would be at least midnight.]

Jiang Manman: [I can't stand it for another minute.]

Two minutes later, Yan Changye walked out of the business hall and headed straight for a room at the end of the corridor.

Three minutes later, he came out with a puzzled look on his face, glanced around the outer hall, and his gaze immediately and accurately landed on the glass conservatory.

Then, his face darkened.

He strode into the greenhouse, and amidst the saccharine gazes of a group of beautiful women, somewhat exasperated, he abruptly pulled Jiang Manman up:

"Madam, what are you doing in this godforsaken place?"

"This isn't a gift you arranged for me...?" Jiang Manman waved the sketch in her hand, a full dozen pages long, in which she had drawn almost all the evening gowns of the women in the flower room.

After a moment's thought, Yan Changye guessed what had happened.

He looked down at Jiang Manman, whose eyes were still glazed over, with a mixture of affection and helplessness, and then scooped her up in his arms.
"Baby, let me take you out first."

"I can walk by myself."

"This place isn't clean," Yan Changye replied casually.

He stepped out of the glass greenhouse and gave Shen Zongqian a look: "Take down this smoky place, find out whose idea it was, and have him come see me tomorrow."

Shen Zongqian: "Okay, BOSS."

"What kind of riddle are you playing?" Jiang Manman asked, puzzled. "Could this be more than just a greenhouse?"

"It's the greenhouse, but some petals have fallen to the ground. I'll have Shen Zongqian clean it up," Yan Changye said casually, leading her back to the corridor.

Jiang Manman was still confused: "Why did you bring me here?"

"Madam," Yan Changye chuckled softly, "my gift to you is here..."

He pushed open the door to a huge lounge on his left.

Jiang Manman's gaze fell upon it, and she froze!
Inside, more than twenty world-renowned fashion designers were gathered, including the "walking house" she had been squatting for the entire day, and another legendary designer, Neil, whom she had discussed in the office...

Besides.

Mu Lanting, China's most talented designer of traditional Chinese style;
Karl Lagerfeld, known as the 'God of Romance' in Paris, France;

Chris, known as the 'King of Fashion' in Britain;
……

These twenty-two design masters practically represent the future of the fashion industry. Each one, individually, is a pinnacle of their field. Seeing even one of their fashion shows is incredibly difficult, let alone witnessing them all up close at once. Jiang Manman's legs trembled slightly, her almond-shaped eyes blinking nervously as she clutched Yan Changye's hem, "Husband..."

Yan Changye's heart softened, pleased by the word "husband," and he chuckled, "Madam, you are the First Lady of the Capital, yet you act so unsophisticated..."

Jiang Manman didn't speak, but just looked at him with her bright eyes.

Yan Changye gently rubbed her head: "Alright, I know you're too excited to see a bunch of idols. Until midnight tomorrow, their time is all yours. You can ask them any questions you want."

The elevator entrance outside the door.

Xie Yuheng remained standing in the same spot.

It wasn't until all the guests at the banquet had left that he seemed to come to his senses, and he left, shrouded in a chill.
