Fatal Desire

Chapter 134 Disrespectful

Chapter 134 Disrespectful
Zhao Yansen's fingers tightened slightly around Song Xi's waist, a faint smile playing on his lips. He then introduced himself.
"Song Xi".

This answer is clearly an implicit acceptance.

No wonder Mr. Zhao disliked receiving beautiful women as gifts; it turns out they were already taken.

Fesdler understood immediately and smiled politely: "Miss Song has an extraordinary temperament."

He introduced himself to Song Xi, “JM Foundation, Fesdler.”

"Nice to meet you. Song Xi from Morningstar Biotechnology." Song Xi smiled and responded calmly.

The sound of a piano began at that moment.

The musician she had long admired was playing a piece, his fingers flying across the black and white keys.

Song Xi glanced in that direction involuntarily, then turned to look at Zhao Yansen as if remembering something.

"Don't go too far." He temporarily released his hand from her waist.

Song Xi nodded and walked towards the piano area, lifting her skirt.

As Fesdler watched her retreating figure, he praised her earnestly, "Mr. Zhao is so considerate to his wife. The two of you are a perfect match, both talented and beautiful."

The light from the crystal chandelier fell on Zhao Yansen's sharply defined profile, making his eyes appear even more profound. He took the cigar but didn't light it, merely toying with it casually.

Fesdler invited him to the private drawing room on the second floor, asking questions as they walked:
"I heard you recently acquired that AI company in Silicon Valley?"

As the piano music reached its climax, the yacht sailed into the middle of the Hudson River. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, the silhouette of the Statue of Liberty could be seen faintly in the night.

The champagne tower on the yacht sparkled brilliantly. Song Xi listened to music while the blond, blue-eyed man beside her discussed the next big profit opportunity with the hedge fund manager.

Several Wall Street giants had a good relationship with Song Xi and had once tried to buy her drug patents.

Upon seeing her there, they all came over to greet her with delight.

Song Xi spoke with them with composure and grace, showing no stage fright.

*
In the private lounge on the second floor of the yacht, Zhao Yansen sat on the main leather sofa, his long fingers lightly tapping the rim of a crystal glass. The amber-colored whiskey reflected varying shades of light under the lamplight.

Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the shimmering waters of the Hudson River reflected on his handsome, sculpted features. Seven or eight business tycoons from various fields sat around him, maintaining a perfectly measured distance.

"Hua Song will add three percentage points of its equity." Zhao Yansen spoke slowly and deliberately, his voice not loud, but it instantly silenced the entire room.

The German banker sitting on the right frowned: "Mr. Zhao, I'm afraid..."

“Or,” Zhao Yansen said calmly, “you could consider giving up your London tech stocks.”

After catching up with his Wall Street friends and warmly greeting his favorite musician, Song Xi went to find Zhao Yansen. As he stepped inside, he saw the frozen expressions on everyone's faces.

She paused slightly, only to see Zhao Yansen extend his hand to her: "Come here."

The air in the reception room seemed to freeze at this gesture. Those usually powerful figures couldn't hide their astonishment as they stared at this unfamiliar Eastern girl.

Song Xi calmly walked to Zhao Yansen's side and presented her with the Iranian Almas caviar and Italian white truffle pasta.

Song Xi sat quietly to the side, enjoying her meal with elegance.

"Continue," Zhao Yansen instructed the waiter to bring over a red bean latte.

The German banker's gaze darted between the two men before he chuckled, "Mr. Zhao, you have quite the refined taste. But business is business..."

"My conditions will not change." Zhao Yansen casually handed Song Xi a piece of paper, his tone leaving no room for argument.

Song Xi noticed the air pressure around her was getting lower and lower. She calmly took a sip of her red bean latte; it was sweet and smooth, and made her feel at ease.

The negotiations continued in an awkward atmosphere, but everyone knew the truth: the real power tonight had long been firmly in the hands of the man sitting in the head seat, constantly looking after the girl.

Huasong Group holds a strong advantage in the financial and technological fields, and almost no one can rival it. After the exchange, Song Xi had finished eating. Zhao Yansen took her to the deck to watch the fireworks.

Only after rigorous review, operation by a professional team, and obtaining permission can a grand fireworks display be held on the Hudson River. However, this is obviously effortless for the wealthy and powerful on the yachts.

As night fell as black as ink, the first firework suddenly exploded with a "bang" on the deck of the yacht.

The dazzling firelight reflected in Song Xi's dark pupils. She looked up, her eyes shining with hope and joy as she gazed at the fireworks display in the sky.

Zhao Yansen leaned lazily against the railing, his hands in his pockets, looking down at the girl, a smile unconsciously creeping into his eyes.

Song Xi watched the fireworks for a while, then turned her head to look at Zhao Yansen, only to be caught off guard by his deep black eyes.

She paused for a moment, her heart seemingly skipping a beat.

Zhao Yansen reached out and pulled her into his arms, his palm pinching her waist through the expensive dress.

The sea breeze lifted her long, loose hair, and a few strands brushed against his chin and neck, like soft feathers gently caressing him.

"Are you cold?"

Beyond the railing lay the dark, surging sea; the sound of waves crashing against the hull was almost within reach, yet it couldn't drown out his voice.

"It's not cold." Song Xi shook her head, her pearl earring swaying in a lustrous arc with her movement.

Another cluster of golden-red fireworks burst overhead, illuminating Zhao Yansen's aloof features. His expensive shirt clung to his chest in the sea breeze, outlining his well-defined muscles.

Song Xi suddenly remembered that Fesdler had mistaken them for a couple, and Zhao Yansen did not deny it.

She looked up at him, staring intently: "Someone just said I'm your wife, why didn't you explain?"

"What, you want to be a little sister again?" Zhao Yansen chuckled, loosely putting his arm around her waist.

“I always have been that way,” Song Xi said.

"Isn't she just your wife?" Zhao Yansen gripped the back of her neck with his large hand, his forehead pressed against hers, and suddenly uttered a Cantonese phrase, his voice deep and seductive, "Mrs. Zhao."

The man's hot breath, mixed with the salty sea breeze, brushed against Song Xi's cheek, making her ears burn.

"Zhao Tai sounds like Empress Dowager Zhao."

"Don't want to be a princess, want to be an empress dowager?" Zhao Yansen raised an eyebrow slightly. "Then I'll call you Empress Dowager Xixi from now on."

His seniority was suddenly elevated.

Song Xi angrily stomped on his foot, but Zhao Yansen suddenly grabbed her around the waist and slammed her against the railing.

"Zhao Yansen!" she cried out, clinging tightly to his neck in fright.

"You have no manners." Zhao Yansen lowered his head and gently bit her lower lip, his voice muffled yet indulgent. "Call me brother."

"elder brother……"

Before Song Xi could finish speaking, the largest golden firework burst into bloom in the night sky. Almost simultaneously, he pressed his lips deeply against hers, irresistibly stealing her breath.

The salty sea breeze, the cool railings, and the dazzling fireworks all became the most passionate descriptions of this kiss.

In his dazed state, Song Xi heard the sound of waves crashing against the hull, unsure whether it was the tide of the Hudson River or the roar of his own surging blood.

When they parted, her lips were moist and glistening, and she was breathing softly.

He pressed his forehead against hers, his sexy voice escaping his throat: "Want more?"
