Chapter 3 The Sunny and Handsome Boy

Lin Xiyu smiled gratefully, threw her schoolbag on the podium, and quickly ran to her seat.

The proctor then came to her and checked her admission ticket.

Lin Xiyu cooperated by gathering her messy bangs to reveal her smooth forehead.

After the proctor finished checking, she nodded in satisfaction and placed the exam paper on her desk.

"Thank you, teacher."

Lin Xiyu politely thanked him and wanted to write, only to realize that she hadn't taken the pen out of her bag.

The test papers have already been handed out. If I go to get a pen now, will the teacher misunderstand and think I'm trying to cheat?

Just as I was struggling with this, a jet-black fountain pen was thrown from behind me.

Gu Bin tossed the pen over, then lowered his head to start answering the questions, calmly as if nothing had happened.

Lin Xiyu shakily reached out, grasped the pen, and awkwardly forced a smile as she met the proctor's scrutinizing gaze.

Fortunately, the proctor didn't hold it against them and let her off the hook once again.

Lin Xiyu patted her still-shaken heart, stopped overthinking, uncapped her pen, and wrote her name on the test paper.

The last subject of the college entrance examination was Chinese, which was her strong suit.

The minor incident of saving lives did not affect her mood; she quickly got into the zone, focused her attention, and began answering the questions.

Two hours flew by, and with the ringing of the bell, the exam was over.

The students stood up from their seats one after another, handed in their exam papers, and left the classroom.

While checking the exam papers, Lin Xiyu glanced at the seat diagonally behind her. Seeing Gu Bin get up to hand in his paper, she quickly capped her pen and followed him.

The two walked out of the classroom side by side, carrying their schoolbags.

Gu Bin is 1.85 meters tall, with a slender and perfect figure and a sunny and handsome appearance. Among students of the same age, he is definitely a dazzling presence.

Lin Xiyu clearly felt that the gazes converging from all directions were intense and amazed upon him, while those upon her were astonished and contemptuous.

"Here's your pen, thank you." Lin Xiyu's ears were burning. She handed the pen back to Gu Bin and tried to get away from him.

Her current appearance is not only surprising to others, but also jarring to herself.

What are you doing so early in the morning?
Gu Bin took the pen and teased, "Did you fall into the river? You've made yourself look so disheveled."

"You really fell into the river?"

He had only casually teased her with a remark, but unexpectedly, she had guessed the truth.

"We were in a car accident on the way here."

Not wanting to be looked down upon, Lin Xiyu joked, "I saved two people from the moat, so I guess I'd call myself a hero saving a damsel in distress, hahahahaha."

"You... saved someone?"

Seeing her laughing so carefree, Gu Bin hesitated whether to believe her.

"Is it true?"

Lin Xiyu raised her small face, boasting with unparalleled pride, "With TV reporters recording this as proof, I might become a celebrity soon."

"Blow it."

Gu Bin couldn't stand her smug little look, so he put his hands in his pockets and walked away in a cool and aloof manner.

"it is true."

Lin Xiyu was about to chase after him when she suddenly snapped back to reality and remembered that her bicycle was parked in a different direction from his.

She cried out in annoyance, slapped her forehead in frustration, and turned to run to the other side of the bike shed.

Gu Bin glanced at her, a slight smile playing on his lips, and let out a pleasant laugh.
