Then he hoisted Bai Ni onto his back with a bit too much force, causing Bai Ni's face, which had regained some color, to turn pale again, and he coughed, his throat itchy. "Cough cough!"

Chao Sheng looked over nervously and instructed, "Be careful."

"Okay." Yin Xu smiled sheepishly, her gaze towards Bai Ni tinged with apology and a hint of malice. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention."

Bai Ni was so weak that he couldn't even speak, and could only roll his eyes helplessly.

In order to take good care of Bai Ni, Chao Sheng even wanted to give her own seashell bed to Bai Ni.
