Chapter 12 The New God King
The gods haven't had time to fully consider the final gift that Uranus, the Father, bestowed upon the universe, because a most pressing matter remains unresolved.

That is Eros—the origin of love and desire.

The love and desire that were separated from Uranus's body are still enveloped by a massive amount of spiritual essence and the blood of the Father, slowly drifting down from the endless sky, radiating an energy that makes the gods uneasy.

None of the gods dared to touch it, for fear that they would be overwhelmed by the immense spiritual essence and the embodiment of love and desire, losing themselves and becoming slaves to their desires.

Meanwhile, the divine blood of Uranus, the Father, continued to drip, falling like golden raindrops onto the earth. Within these separated drops of His divine essence lay the Father's final rage and resentment.

The first large drop of elixir that fell to the ground was nurtured by Gaia, the Earth Mother, and transformed into three vengeful goddesses who would later be feared by all—Erinyes (Furies).

They are vengeful spirits, their hearts filled with the fury of revenge, and their mission is to punish those who break their oaths and blood ties.

They will never let go of any heinous or brutal act, especially the crime of murdering relatives, which they will pursue to the end.

Those who are arrogant and domineering, break their oaths, or neglect their guests will also be punished mercilessly by them.

They are: Alecto (/ληκτ): meaning "the one who never stops," whose revenge is endless.

Megaera (Mγαιρα): meaning "jealous" or "resentful," whose anger burns like a raging fire.

Tisiphone (Τισιφνη): meaning "voice of revenge" or "one who pays for blood debts," whose voice heralds the end of evil.

Later generations of mortals, out of fear, dared not call her by her name "the goddess of vengeance," but instead revered her as the goddess of mercy, the goddess of respect, the goddess of solemnity, and other beautiful names, hoping to obtain a sliver of merciful forgiveness when facing judgment.

After that, the divine blood that dripped onto the earth transformed into Gigantes (Greek: Γγαντε; also translated as giants).

They possess terrifying power and are the embodiment and symbol of Uranus's violence, their bodies containing destructive force.

Finally, the scattered drops of spiritual liquid fell on the earth and sprouted patches of ash trees (white wax trees), which are the best wood for making spears.

Many ash tree fairies were born from these ash trees; they are symbols of war and the conflicts of the world.

This is the final three-life evolution of the Father Uranus, the ultimate mark He left in the universe.

The Earth Mother Goddess doesn't care about these newly born beings. Even though they are all gods, in her eyes they are no different from mortals.

What the Mother Goddess fears now is the love and desire that are gradually falling and about to descend upon the earth.

She dared not imagine what uncontrollable things would be born if love and desire were to merge with the earth once again.
Moreover, love and desire are now intertwined with a massive amount of spiritual essence and the divine blood of Uranus, and this combined power makes her feel extremely uneasy.

She kept urging her children, the Titans who had already grasped the order of the universe, to hurry up and find a way to deal with this manifestation of love and desire.

The gods were at a loss, worried that they would lose themselves to lust and fearing that the earth's union with lust would give birth to some unpredictable existence.

However, they would never dare to let them come into contact with that chaotic and powerful force.

Finally, it was Cronus who stepped forward.

He commanded all the gods to perform their respective duties, so that the universe could resume its healthy functioning and stable order. Then, He used His divine authority to cause the earth to grow plants that covered the sky and the sun, to wrap Himself in endless spiritual plants, and to construct armor covering His entire body with endless spiritual plants.

Then, holding this love and desire, He resolutely ran to the edge of the world.

Along the way, the spiritual plants on His body, upon coming into contact with that pure spirituality and divine blood, continuously transformed into nymph fairies (flower and grass fairies), who were forever beautiful and full of vitality.

The gods watched as Cronus headed toward the edge of the world, puzzled as to what he was up to, until Oceanus sensed something was wrong and an unprecedented sense of crisis gripped his heart.

At the very moment he reached the edge of the world, Cronus unhesitatingly threw all his love and desire, his vast spiritual essence, and his remaining divine blood into the now-running ocean currents!

Oceanus had no time to be horrified or even let out a scream. His vast consciousness was almost instantly destroyed by the powerful spiritual desire!

At this most critical moment, it was Thetis, the goddess of freshwater, who unhesitatingly merged into the ocean current, sharing the terrible spiritual impact with Oceanus.

Under her divine authority that nourishes and organizes the origins of the world, she distributed this boundless spirituality to the earth.

In that instant, the two gods conceived three thousand Potamos (meaning rivers, a collective term for all river gods, all sons) and three thousand Oceanids (a collective term for all sea goddesses, all daughters).

The "three thousand" here is a figurative number, representing infinity. From then on, all rivers, lakes, and freshwater resources in the universe were created by Oceanus and Thetes.

All rivers were under the control of Potamos, and all other freshwater resources were under the control of Oceanides.

Oceanides can also be called the Oceanid or the River Goddess. She belongs to the nymphal class and is also known as the Maiden Goddess.

The Potamos and Oceanides are a massive group, with a huge gap between their potential and their minimum skill level. At their maximum potential, they can fight the primordial titans one-on-one, but at their minimum potential, they can't even defeat demigods, or even heroes.

Because Thetis sacrificed herself to save him, Oceanus managed to barely retain his self and his self-awareness was not completely destroyed.

Moreover, He turned misfortune into blessing, greatly increasing His power in the universe and gaining more authority over the water system.

More importantly, He also became united with Thetis, and their relationship became extremely close from then on.

Oceanus and Thetes were both mild-mannered. Considering the newly stabilized world, Oceanus did not turn against Cronus, who had almost sent him away, and temporarily swallowed his anger.

However, he no longer dared to trust Cronus, and from then on, he was bound to have a deep-seated hatred for Cronus.

However, in any case, all the problems and threats have been resolved, and the universe has temporarily returned to peace.

The universe cannot exist without a coordinator of order. In this war to overthrow Uranus, Cronus, who made the greatest contribution, became the new king of the gods without any controversy.
