Chapter 14 The Greedy God King

Later, in order to consolidate his power, Cronus insisted that all the gods perform their duties and did not allow any god to overstep his authority, strictly limiting the scope of the gods' actions.

He did not possess Uranus's absolute power to control the world, and he also feared the emergence of new laws, with new gods being even more powerful than him.

The final "curse" of the Father Uranus constantly threatens Him.

Even if new laws are born out of control, He only allows the newly born gods to exercise them within the authority of their fathers, strictly limiting their development.

Similarly, this is also to maintain His own rule.

He did not have the absolute authority of Uranus; his rule was inseparable from the support of the Titans.

He solidified the current order in order to win over the other supreme Titans and solidify his alliance.

The world is orderly, but too orderly, so orderly that it has become almost completely stagnant, like a pool of still water.

It is so ordered that it has violated the fundamental principles of the world, principles that supersede the basic laws.

That is the creation of something from nothing, and the eventual return of something to nothing, a cycle that never ends.

When entropy increases to its extreme, it begins to become negative entropy, and when it begins to become negative entropy, it begins to move towards entropy increase.

The law of entropy increase is the most supreme law among all natural laws. The world is governed by the law of entropy increase, and life feeds on negative entropy.

Neither entropy increase nor negative entropy can stop it.

You can try to reduce entropy by making it negative, but you can't stop or halt it.

Even gods, even god-kings, cannot defy this supreme law.

He went astray without realizing it.

Moreover, the God-King himself had already violated his own laws.

As the God of creation, He fears creating the future.

Fear caused Him to lose the very foundation of His divine kingship: the noblest quality, the most precious golden virtue in the entire universe—courage.

He betrayed himself, betrayed the courage he once possessed.

His fate was sealed at this point.

But His madness did not stop.

On the contrary, the God-King was even more greedy.

Or rather, it was precisely because He became increasingly greedy that He met His final end.

"Whom we wish to destroy, we first make mad." This simple proverb was fulfilled in His life.

In order to defend the fixed order He established, He showed an absolute attitude and in order to win over the masses (in reality, to increase His own authority).

He set an example, grand and dignified, and without any concealment, absorbed the laws of fire that He and the great Mother Goddess Rhea had evolved and given birth to into His own body. As the King of Gods, He Himself was the embodiment of the laws of creation, growth, harvest, reaping, courage, and so on, which were born from Heaven and Earth.

The great goddess Rhea is the embodiment of the supreme laws of flow, movement, motion, and vitality born from heaven and earth.

The combination of their laws naturally gives rise to the most fundamental and ultimate laws of the universe.

The first law that is derived from this is fire.

This is the last and most important element that the universe is missing.

The four elements—earth, fire, water, and air (ether)—were once only fire had not yet appeared. Now, this primordial element of civilization has been devoured without hesitation. (PS: Ancient Greece also had a theory of four elements, the only difference being that they included wind and air.)
He only desired the laws, not the gods. He took back the laws that had already been conceived into his own body, choosing to devour them to make himself stronger.

Even though the laws that were born possessed innate spirituality, consciousness, and physical form, and were inherently divine, He did not hesitate for even a moment; His greed and ruthlessness surpassed all emotions.

His actions shocked all the gods.

However, shock is not the same as intimidation. Intimidation exists, but it is not as prevalent.

The laws that have already been born will not disappear. The god-king Cronus chose to devour the emerging laws to make himself stronger. Although he was "eating" his own "children," this also made the gods wary.

Or rather, it means being more vigilant. It would be strange if others weren't wary of someone who wouldn't even spare their own "children."

Therefore, other gods also began to work hard to develop new laws in order to increase their own power and guard against Cronus's unexpected actions.

The celestial light, Hyperion, the lord of radiance, and Theia, the goddess of holiness and the controller of sight and perception, gave birth to the sun and the moon without hesitation after the birth of the laws of fire.

From then on, the brilliance of celestial bodies was not merely a transformation of ether, but the celestial bodies themselves also possessed powerful energy.

Stars began to appear in the sky.

The universe became brighter, and the light and warmth of the stars illuminated the vast universe, providing a foundation for the birth of life on other celestial bodies.

Not only did Hyperion and his wife begin to strengthen their own power, but the other gods also began to unite and enhance their own power.

However, wary of Cronus's ruthlessness, they did not dare to reproduce extensively, but they were not so obedient either, and were all secretly accumulating power.

The Titans, who had once lived together in harmony on Mount Otyrus, began to leave after Cronus devoured the laws of the gods. Some of them sought other places to settle down and live far away from this god-king who was clearly no longer reliable.

Cronus learned from Uranus's experience and did not establish a dictatorship (because his power did not allow it), but he clearly did not learn from Uranus's brutality.

In fact, they even surpassed their father in cruelty. At least Uranus, the Father, didn't devour his own child.

He did not have enough power to wipe out all the gods at once, nor did he have the power to take all the power into his own hands, so the cunning god-king chose to gradually erode his power.

The greedy god-king continues to consolidate power. On the surface, he maintains order, solidifies the authority of the primordial Titans, and defends the honor of the gods, but in reality, he begins to secretly erode the laws and authority of the gods.

He not only wants to prevent the future from coming, but He also wants to gather all the laws of the universe, and He wants to concentrate all authority in one's own body to become the true absolute ruler!
He will gradually strengthen himself through slow probing and erosion, and undermine the authority of the gods. He wants to be one god and the universe!

In the incredibly long time that followed, He and the goddess Rhea first gave birth to agriculture and harvests, then to reproduction and childbirth, and nature was consumed by Him in both stages.

Cronus is devouring the authority of the Mother of All Things.

Gaia, the mother goddess, was relatively good-tempered; she never overturned the table directly, so she became the first person the god-king tested.
