Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 18 Mother and Son Reunion

Chapter 18 Mother and Son Reunion
However, even a mere physical life can be upgraded if it has the opportunity to obtain the laws that have not yet given birth to spirituality.

The upgrades are also very fast, after all, their bodies are born with divinity, which allows them to better integrate with the laws.

Key point: The gods are not human in essence!
Especially at this stage, almost all gods are the embodiment of laws; they are the manifestation of the laws of the world.

Their union is the union of laws, aimed at building a better world, making the world more perfect, and driving the evolution of the universe.

Even without active interaction or combination, new laws will be born from continuous mutual contact; this is the natural law of the universe.

The active combination of laws can accelerate the evolution of the world; it is the acceleration of this process.

Furthermore, taking the initiative makes it relatively controllable and easier to control the emergence of new rules.

The laws of their active conception generally lead them to recognize them as "parents," but this relationship is completely different from that of mortals and has a fundamental difference.

It has absolutely nothing to do with bloodline or ethics; it is a sense of recognition and belonging between divinities and laws.

Just like Oceanus and Thetes, all the freshwater in the universe exists as their daughters; all the rivers exist as their sons.

Because they are the fundamental laws, the origin. The universe is so vast that even they themselves don't know how many children they have; they are the infinite extension of life and laws.

In this context, the river flows through the lake, giving birth to even smaller streams, which are both children of the river and the lake, and by nature children of Oceanus and Thetes.

This kind of relationship is perfectly natural and cannot be said to be a violation of moral principles. It has nothing to do with ethics; it is a natural phenomenon that constitutes the world and a flow of laws.

The flow of rivers into the sea cannot be described as a relationship with "parents"; it is a natural fusion.

The water cycle is an essential part of the universe's existence; they constitute the world itself and are the foundation of the universe's operation.

Just as the Father Uranus gave birth to so many children (laws), but Uranus cared nothing for them, the laws gave birth to new laws. This is not a relationship of human blood connection, but an extension of power.

Just as the Father Uranus could forcibly alter the origins of the light ethere Aether and the daytime Hemera.

They forcibly changed the source of their fertility to the light of the heavens, the radiant Lord Hyperion.

In principle, Aether and Hemera are now Hyperion's "children," which reflects the transformation and reshaping between laws.

Moreover, the gods have the ability to reproduce independently; even without union, they can give birth to laws or life on their own.

Like the Father Uranus, who is the heavens, the firmament, and His "brothers," Pontus, the embodiment of the sea, and Uriah, the lord of the mountains.

They are the independent offspring of the earth.

God can give birth to simple life in many ways, not necessarily through physical contact like that of mortals. If He so desires, He can even give a breath.

Even when it comes to the creation of laws, the most important thing is the fusion and evolution of those laws.

It's just that the gods' self-development of laws is too inefficient and too slow.

Moreover, it depends a lot on luck. It's hard to determine what kind of laws will emerge, and it's difficult to surpass or even match one's own previous laws. In most cases, they can only be more specific sub-laws of oneself.

In today's oppressive universe, this is not a good thing, because it makes it impossible to obtain greater power to guard against the greedy God-King.

Only when different laws interact and collide can stronger laws be born.

Even if it's just for better self-preservation, combining and strengthening each other's principles is the most correct choice.

When Zeus saw the mother goddess Rhea, he immediately flew over to greet her.

"Mother Goddess!" His tone was filled with deep affection and reverence. The goddess with bright eyes, her perfect divine face revealing a radiant smile: "Zeus, my child." Her gentle words were full of care and longing.

The son of Cronus, arm in arm with the daughter of the Father, landed together on the island of Crete.

The Cyretes demigods immediately knelt down, not daring to look directly at the goddess's holy face.

The ash tree fairies Adrasthea and Ide, and the goat goddess Amartea, also bowed respectfully to the sacred and majestic Queen of Gods.

Queen Rhea praised their hard work, and then took Zeus alone into the cave of Ida.

As soon as they entered the cave, the merciful Mother Goddess couldn't help but stroke Zeus's majestic face, saying, "My child, you have grown so much."

As she spoke, Rhea's extraordinary, iridescent hair shimmered with an even brighter light, a testament to her overwhelming excitement.

Zeus smiled brightly and gently took the mother goddess's hand: "Mother goddess, I am doing well here. I feel that I have fully grown up."

For Zeus's safety, Rhea did not dare to visit her only child frequently during this long period of time; her longing had been suppressed for far too long.

The benevolent goddess smiled gently, but the next second, endless sorrow and grief surged onto her flawless and perfect face.

She knew what her child would face when he grew up; so many gods had placed their hopes on Him.

After this child survived under the protection of many primordial gods, too many burdens were destined to fall on His/Her shoulders.

But Crete is too small; it could be sunk to the bottom of the sea with a stomp of its foot. It could not possibly contain the son of the god-king for long.

But as a mother, she genuinely didn't want her child to do something that was fraught with danger.

Zeus could tell what the mother goddess was worried about just by looking at Rhea's expression. He smiled slightly and said, "Mother goddess, I have made all the preparations."

"We had no other choice; it was an inevitable fate."

"And I have enough confidence to face all of this."

Although Rhea's worries were still hard to dispel, she nodded gently nonetheless.

She was, after all, the first generation of Titans, the "second daughter" of the Heavenly Father Uranus, and now the Queen of the Gods.

She had participated in the movement to overthrow the first god, and was mentally prepared for everything that was to come, so she wouldn't cry like a little woman.

The Mother Goddess said softly, "The God King is, after all, the God King. He is too powerful. It is good that you have confidence, but you must not be careless. You are no match for the Father God now. You need to act carefully."

"My child, what are your plans?"

Zeus nodded and replied, "Our father is too powerful, and as the king of the gods, with so many great gods assisting him, he is invincible. We must find help."

"Let our friends outnumber those of the Father God, thus weakening the Father God's power. We must also weaken the Father God's own strength; only then can we launch our final attack."

"Many great gods must be extremely dissatisfied with what the Father God has done, and these great gods are the ones we are trying to win over."

Even if some experts simply sit idly by and do nothing, that's already helping us.
