Chapter 36 Bring me the checkbook!
Crios's usually stern and expressionless face now wore a gentle smile:

"Honorable Son of the Queen of Gods, great rebel, welcome! The universe is full of hope because of you."

After the Titans extended their respectful welcome to Zeus, they paid their highest respects to Rhea, who was behind Zeus. Then Hyperion invited the gods to His glorious palace, which was surrounded by endless stars.

After everyone was seated, Cleos got straight to the point and said, "Your esteemed son of the Queen of Gods, after you toppled that majestic mountain and buried the God King's palace under the rocks, the God King came to the universe to search for you, and his rage swept across the entire starry sky."

Zeus nodded and said, "That is one of the reasons I came here today."

“I know that it was two great gods who protected us, and your kindness is as eternal as the stars. Here I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to the two great gods. I will always remember your help and never forget it.”

"In the not-too-distant future, I will surely repay the two great gods for their help and protection, and repay your contributions with a new order."

Hyperion said, "Honorable guest, we help you not for any reward."

"It is because we have sworn allegiance to the King of God that we are equally loyal to the Holy Queen of God, and we respect her even more, our dear sister."

"Although we are loyal to the God-King, we cannot stand idly by while our noble and sacred God-Queen is treated unjustly."

“We also cannot stand some of the God-King’s actions. Everything we do is out of admiration for your courageous resistance, for the sacred honor of the God-Queen, and for our most sincere and profound feelings.”

Rhea smiled and said, "Dear Crios, dear Hyperion, my dear brother, I will always be grateful for your help and care. Your support will surely be richly rewarded, far beyond your imagination."

“We were once the closest family members, fighting side by side, and Cronus was my husband. Under His guidance, we overthrew the tyrannical rule of the Father and reaped the honor we deserved.”

The holy goddess sighed softly and said, "But Cronus, His ambition is growing, He is becoming more and more tyrannical, He has lost the noble virtues that once enabled Him to accomplish great things."

“He did many things that violated the honor of the gods, and the beautiful world became lifeless. He followed the old path of the Father God, hurt the feelings of the Mother God, and even eroded the honor of the gods.”

"The world order has gone down a terrible wrong path. Our poor children should not be bound by this wrong order. They should also enjoy this beautiful world and shine freely!"

Rhea, with gentle and loving eyes, looked upon all the younger generation of gods, her gaze finally settling on Crios and Hyperion. She spoke softly yet firmly:

“Dear Cleos and Hyperion, shouldn’t our children enjoy this world? This right is theirs from birth!”

“That is the world that the great Mother Goddess created for us. Our children have the right to share this glory. They should not live in stifling conditions, with their talents suppressed and their glory taken away.”

"Please help my child just as you did before, just as you overthrew the wrong rule of the Father God!"

"Zeus, my proudest child, He will never let you down. He will bring a brand new future to the universe!"

"He possesses courage and magnanimity, wisdom and mercy far surpassing those of Cronus. He will treat every noble deity justly, and He will bestow upon each god the honor they deserve."

Zeus looked at Crios and Hyperion with utmost seriousness and said in a loud voice, "Honorable gods, in the name of Rhea's son, I promise you that I will establish a new order in which all the gods share the world."

"In this beautiful world, every god will enjoy His share of honor, and there will be no more oppression or deprivation!"

"What He already has, I will still allow Him to have, and to make it flourish; what He does not yet possess, I will give Him, so that He may also share in the world's bounty!"

Zeus looked at the three brothers, Astrius, Pallas, and Perses, and said loudly, "Sons of Crius, you are the sons of the framework of the universe and the great power of the world. You were born to have the glory of controlling the stars!"

"I promise you that the starry sky of the future world will be your honor, your eternal domain!" "The universe is bright because of you, and you will radiate eternal glory. I promise you to become the weavers of the universe, turning the endless stars into eternal patterns of brilliance."

"I promise you that you represent the vast power and primordial foundation of the universe, and that you will become the inevitable cycle of the universe, an indispensable driving force in the birth and death of all things!"

He looked at the sun Helios and the moon Selene and proclaimed, "Sons of Hyperion, you will be the radiant and holy lords of the world, and your light will illuminate the world!"

"The world will be divided into day and night, and you will share the world's day and night equally. You will bring light and brilliance to the world, and enable all things to thrive!"

"Helios, the world is warmer and grows because of you. You will be the guardian of the sky. Your light will always be with the world, dispelling all darkness and gloom, and spreading warmth and hope across the vast earth."

"Selene, you will be the gentle ruler of the night! Illuminating the darkness with your gentle light, guiding the lost traveler. Each of your phases is the rhythm of the life cycle of all beings; the tides rise and fall with you, all things awaken with you; you will be the eternal guardian of the night!"

Zeus looked once more at Crios and Hyperion, the two couples, and proclaimed, "As for the noble primordial Titans, I promise you that you will forever be the embodiment of the grand order of the universe, the omnipresent force of the cosmos! Your position will forever remain unshakeable!"

Zeus did not hesitate to issue a huge, unrealistic promise.

Since the universe isn't mine anymore, I can make promises however I want.

To take something, you must first give something.

We'll gradually take back control later.

The art of rhetoric lies in leaving room for maneuver. After all, language and promises are always full of the mystery of reversals.

What promise is without loopholes?

I did say I was bestowing honor upon you, but I never said I couldn't take it back, much less that I couldn't share or co-own it.

The key to its application lies in single-mindedness.

Crios and Hyperion are still able to remain calm, after all, they are older Titans, with deep and experienced minds.

But their children were already deeply moved by Zeus's promise.

They were now under the oppression of Cronus and truly had nothing, so how could they not be tempted by Zeus's promises?

As second-generation Titans, none of them would not want to enjoy the world. Who would want to be suppressed in the empty universe every day, with no honor to speak of?
