Next, let me talk about this book. Since the author wrote a fanfiction of The Great Ruler before, I am quite familiar with some of the settings in it, so you don't have to worry about me abandoning it later.

I vaguely remember that my last book had 700,000 words and only reached 1,500 average subscriptions, which made it the second "The Great Ruler" fanfic on Qidian with a thousand average subscriptions. I was thinking about climaxes every day until I was numb.

Back then, there were very few books by The Great Ruler, and readers were probably afraid that I would abandon the project. Every month at the end of the month, they would spontaneously vote, which made the author feel a little embarrassed and hesitant to abandon the project.

After finishing the book, I didn't know what to write next, so I wrote the beginnings of three different themes.

I think the three novels, The Great Ruler, Martial Universe, and Battle Through the Heavens, are all about the same level.

Then I went to submit my work to my editor, Zhe Yu. I had just submitted a Doupo fanfic, and within minutes, she approved it. Zhe Yu is a really nice person.

I felt too embarrassed to submit two other works, so I started this Doupo fanfiction.

The Battle Through the Heavens theme has been written for so many years, and all sorts of variations have been explored. I don't expect to make this book a masterpiece; I only hope that you, my dear readers, will enjoy reading it.

Could someone say something like, "Hey, this is actually quite interesting..."

Secondly, writing this subject matter is actually quite troublesome. It seems like I've written one book, but in reality, I've written two. Sometimes, the author also gets a headache while writing, having to think of the plots for two books, referencing the settings for two books, and constantly answering questions from readers who haven't read The Great Ruler. It's inevitable that the author's energy will run out.

At first, I faced a lot of criticism and even thought about giving up. But after thinking about it, I realized that if even I couldn't write it well, others might not be able to write it well either. Since it was my idea, I decided to keep writing it.

If there are any errors or omissions, I sometimes read the comments and will correct them if possible so as not to affect future readers. If I can't correct them, there's nothing I can do, so please bear with it. If you really feel it's not suitable, you can also check out other Doupo fanfiction. Every book has its own strengths and weaknesses, and every reader has their own preferences. I won't force you; it's all up to your own taste.

Most importantly, the author will persevere and finish the book, giving readers an ending.

Finally, some readers asked me if I would write about Martial Universe, The Great Thousand Worlds, and Yuan Zun later on.

Few people read Yuan Zun, so it's explicitly stated that it won't be written.

Personally, I don't think writing "Martial Universe" is very appropriate. After all, it's a Doupo fanfic. Writing about ascending to the Great Thousand World is acceptable, but "Martial Universe" is really unnecessary, although I know that many Doupo fanfics write it this way: Doupo - Martial Universe - Great Thousand World.

However, according to the setting of the Great Thousand Worlds, it is not easy to find the coordinates of a lower plane in the endless void. Unless there is an item in this plane to guide you, it is very difficult to find the plane you want to reach. You can only rely on luck.

However, since the protagonist has a simulator, obtaining items from the Martial Universe world isn't a problem, so it's possible to write about it. We'll see how it goes. My original plan for my next book was to write a standalone Martial Universe fanfic.

I've written The Great Ruler and Battle Through the Heavens, but it just doesn't feel right without a complete trilogy.
