Chapter 176 Spoiler Dog, You're Doomed (Fifth Update)

Luca was already a little sleepy, but he just wanted to change the subject by asking a few questions because he found Tony a bit long-winded.

However, when he heard Tony utter the word 'Hydra,' he was jolted awake, all his drowsiness instantly vanishing.

To avoid appearing too abrupt, Luca could only feign composure and continue asking in a somewhat casual tone.

"Hydra? The evil villain that Steve fought against during World War II in the comics?"

Tony, who had only said it casually, immediately looked at Luca on the sofa with a somewhat disdainful gaze upon hearing this.

"You actually read the Iron Man comic book series? No way, I guess I'll have to find a company to make a comic book series for Iron Man too."

"Hmm, I think the company that draws Superman is pretty good. Why don't we just buy it?"

"What do you think of the storyline where Iron Man joins the Justice League and leads Superman and Batman?"

Seeing Tony veer the conversation somewhat off-topic towards his personal comics, Luca, who had been a little nervous, relaxed considerably.

"That's true. If it were truly an emergency, Tony probably wouldn't have flown to New York with me; he would have flown back in his armor."

After clearing his mind of all these thoughts, Luca felt completely at ease and adjusted his position on the sofa to make himself more comfortable.

Although he guessed that this matter was not serious, Luca still planned to sound out Tony to find out what was going on with Captain America.

Thinking of this, Luca first glanced at Tony, who was still planning his personal comic, and pretended to be speechless before continuing along with his words.

"You're going to lead the Justice League? Lord Wayne is the world's richest man. Adding him would be plagiarism!"

"I think you should just make an Avengers comic, then drag Hydra out and whip it up, and have Captain America fight Hydra together, that would be pretty good."

Upon hearing Luca's words, Tony immediately became agitated and retorted.

"What do you mean by plagiarism? I am the real world's richest man. Bruce Wayne is just a comic book character. How is it that I plagiarized him?!"

Luca realized that the topic had gone even further astray and immediately complained to himself.

They quickly steered the conversation back on track.

"Alright, alright, you're the richest man, he's a comic book character. So, what about Hydra? What exactly does the captain want you to help with this time?"

Seeing that Luca had admitted he was stronger than Batman, Tony, though still somewhat conflicted about the comics, offered an explanation.

But before he could even speak, his expression turned somewhat strange.

"It's all because of that tar kid you hired last time."

"Huh? Asphalt kid?"

Luca was taken aback at first, but quickly realized what he meant.

"Uh, you mean Harry Osborn? What kind of person is he that I recruited? Isn't he your fanboy? He actively wanted to become a hero." Tony shrugged, as if to say, 'With my status, having a fanboy is perfectly normal, isn't it?'

However, I continued talking.

"As you know, the symbiote on that Osborn kid was brought over from a parallel world by the Spotted Man."

"That symbiote itself has its own independent consciousness. According to that symbiote, it has actually been to more than one parallel universe."

"When I saw the captain a couple of days ago, it inexplicably asked him if Hydra in this world had been destroyed. The veteran naturally told the symbiote about his glorious history in World War II."

"However, the symbiote said that in several parallel universes he had visited, he had heard similar stories before, but the result was always that Hydra still remained and continued to be active in the modern era."

"Old Popsicle hates Hydra to the core, so he can't stand this. Naturally, he's panicking and that's why he's thinking of talking to Tony's dad."

Hearing Tony's explanation, Luca was completely dumbfounded.

I only went back to New York this time because he is getting old and I wanted to help him brush up on his basic knowledge."

"Besides, the symbiote on Asphalt Boy seems to be a bit mentally challenged. It talks in a cryptic way, and it's hard to say how much of it can be trusted."

As Luca listened to Tony nagging and berating Captain America, that stubborn old man, he was already feeling quite unwell.

"I plan to take the captain with me to interrogate those otherworldly invaders and let him see the diversity of parallel worlds. I guess after that, he won't believe that Hydra still exists."

Upon hearing Tony's words, Luca, who was still pondering whether to provide some cover for Hydra and use them for a little longer, or to quickly make a break to avoid being implicated, suddenly had a flash of inspiration and asked Tony with a slightly hesitant tone.
