Chapter 378 Return to Chapter

Chapter 378 Return
Of course, Tony's battles were not simply physical fights relying on the saber-toothed tiger's regenerative abilities.

I fought several rounds of close combat alongside those berserkers, losing my leg twice, my hand three times, and once being cut in half at the waist before the demon casually smashed my head.

After Tony was taken back to the base and his lower body was reattached, he didn't even rest for long before putting on his armor and charging back into the battlefield.

As a result, within half a day, both sets of armor they brought were completely destroyed.

After that, Luca was genuinely afraid that he would die on the battlefield.

I simply gave him one of the Dark Angel Gundams that I had brought earlier.

This thing isn't used much on Earth. It was brought here to enhance our own combat power. As for Samira and the others, they'll have plenty of time to build a few more when they get back.

With the Dark Angel Gundam, Tony was finally able to truly dominate the battlefield.

Whether or not the 'e-carbon armor' is powered by a solar furnace, they are completely different things.

Moreover, the GN Drive in the Dark Angel Gundam is an improved version of the Hell Furnace, which makes the 'e-Carbon Armor' enhanced with Hell Energy more resistant to the attacks of those demons.

However, Tony still had his pride, and he only used the Dark Angel for two days before stopping.

"What? You want to build your own Gundam?"

Looking at Tony, who returned to the Hextech Corps base looking exhausted, Luca couldn't understand how Tony had gotten himself covered in blood while piloting a Gundam in battle.

Tony nodded slightly upon hearing this, not noticing that Luca was examining the blood on his body. He calmed himself down a bit before replying.

"It's not exactly a Gundam, but both of my armors are damaged. Instead of repairing them, I might as well build a brand new armor that's better suited to fight the demons."

"As for the Gundam," Tony said, glancing at the black giant he had stopped some distance away, now piloted by Haro and heading back to the hangar for repairs.

"That's a good idea. Actually, I have some ideas too. Maybe we can build a giant mech that's compatible with the Mark series."

"However, that might consume a lot of your resources, at least in terms of carbon emissions."

Hearing Tony's hesitant words, Luca casually waved his hand.

"You can use the resources here as you please. The E-carbon inventory here is more than enough to build an entire army, let alone one or two Gundams."

To be honest, Luca didn't really care much about the resource consumption within the Hextech camp.

While a significant amount of supplies did indeed have to be transported from Earth, this expenditure was negligible compared to the resources recovered from killing demons.

The vital resource 'e-carbon' is being supplied to the battlefield in unlimited quantities.

Not to mention, Tony has always owned a 10% stake in Orange Materials, the E-carbon producer.

"It's not just E-carbon; there are also tens of tons of vibranium stored here. But... are you really going to stay here? Designing new mechs and such would be much easier if you went back to Earth, wouldn't it?"

Although the factory equipment here is quite advanced due to the need for mechanical manufacturing and some weapon and armor adjustments.

But in terms of usage habits and research and development expertise, it can't compare to Tony's own laboratory.

If Tony were to actually build some weapons or equipment to fight demons, Luca wouldn't mind supplying him with those resources, even if it were on Earth.

Leaving him here would only add to the danger.

However, Tony didn't hear what Luca said next at all; he just stared at him dumbfounded.

"Tens of tons of vibranium?!"

Ok
It was only then that Luca realized Tony didn't know he had previously raided Wakanda. Although Vision Jr. had been around Tony quite a bit, his small frame had probably led Tony to misunderstand.

"Well, don't worry about these things too much; they're just gifts from nature."

"Anyway, feel free to use these things. If you need more vibranium, I'll get more."

Seeing Tony's naive and unsophisticated demeanor, Luca didn't explain in detail to him.

However, vibranium is not really rare in Luca these days; it's only a few dozen tons, which is just the basic material supplied to the legion's base here.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many elite Vibranium-based mechs on the battlefield.

Seeing that Tony seemed determined to stay on this dimensional battlefield, Luca simply stopped trying to persuade him.

Although this is not Earth, it is still relatively convenient to come and go. If anything happens, one can return immediately by having the Kamar-Taj priest open a portal.

Who knows, maybe one day Tony himself will develop the technology to open a door to Earth right here.

At the very least, upgrading your unreliable cross-border communication device would ensure easier communication.

At most, it just means leaving Little Chili alone in an empty house for a while.

"Alright, if you don't want to go home, then you can stay here. I'm going back first; I have a lot of things waiting for me in Sokovia."

Tony didn't mind the research environment here, but Luca himself didn't plan to stay long.

The two main purposes of this trip, testing the [Spiritual Pressure Binding Eye Mask] and installing the 'Hell Furnace Series Buildings', have both been completed.

Other follow-up work can be carried out after we return to Earth.

Although staying longer would allow him to further improve his control over Hextech energy, it wouldn't affect his research or his mood, and in this dilapidated place filled with nothing but demons and his own machinery, it wouldn't be of much benefit for him to collect core components and synthesize new items.

Tony, on the other hand, fell silent again upon hearing this, as if the excitement he had felt upon hearing about vibranium was just an illusion.

Looking at the still deafening battleground in the distance, and then at himself covered in blood, Tony hesitated for a moment before speaking softly to Luca.

"Please tell Little Chili that I'll be going back in a while."

Luca rolled his eyes, and although he didn't say anything, it was as if he had agreed to the matter.

After Luca greeted the others and then leisurely passed through the gate opened by the mages, returning to Earth.

However, as soon as I returned to Earth, I felt a sudden emptiness in my body.

"Oh dear, I forgot to take off my blindfold!"

Luca slapped his forehead, immediately realizing what was happening.

However, just as he casually fiddled with the blindfold straps a couple of times and took it off...

"Boom~"

A powerful aura instantly spread out, and the boiling Hextech energy within his body surged forth, even pressing large cracks into the ground beneath his feet.

"Phew~ There's even more enhancement than expected!"
