Chapter 22 Robbery

Chapter 22 Robbery
Around 4 p.m. that day, under the simple, old-fashioned bus stop sign, Zhang Wenda, carrying a bag, waited with a furrowed brow for something.
On the road next to him, buses with large airbags overhead swayed and came one after another, but Zhang Wenda didn't get on any of them, occasionally glancing at the rooftops next to him.

When Zhang Wenda saw the black cat for the second time, he realized that he had been entangled with that lunatic.

There's no such thing as a thief who can travel a thousand miles without being on guard against a thief for a thousand days. He couldn't let the other party keep keeping an eye on him, so he prepared to get rid of this trouble completely.

After an unknown amount of time, several figures appeared in the alley ahead. Leading them was the chubby Pan Dongzi, followed by his classmates who were going to the Children's Palace together.

Perhaps because they had gone through life and death together, Zhang Wenda was no longer as distant from them as before, and truly treated them as his classmates.

As his classmates, Zhang Wenda felt no guilt whatsoever about asking them to back him up when he was in trouble.

"Is everyone here?" Zhang Wenda counted the heads and found there were seven or eight people.

"Well, Xiao Tiao is sick. Everyone else is here. Haozi, what did you call us here for?" Yang Shu asked, pushing up his glasses.

"Are you guys?" Zhang Wenda asked, looking at them.

"Of course, you saved us at the Youth Palace!"

"Then come with me and help me settle this matter. Someone's been causing me trouble." Zhang Wenda handed over the candy in his hand, giving each of them a piece of chewing gum.

Since he was going to cause trouble for Song Jianguo, he certainly wouldn't be foolish enough to go alone; he would naturally need to find helpers.

Even if the monk runs away, the temple can't hide. Today, he's going to lead his men to that treehouse to ambush her and finally resolve this problem.

"Rat, what's up?" the fat man asked, chewing noisily.

"The bus is here, get on first, we'll talk when we get there," Zhang Wenda said, looking at the No. 3 bus in the distance.

When the swaying bus arrived at the bus station, the large airbags on the roof looked deflated, lying flat against the front of the bus.

The ticket seller then climbed up and threw a few white chess pieces into the airbag, which then slowly inflated again.

Zhang Wenda was stunned when he saw this. He never expected that the white chess pieces he had collected would be used in this way.

"So, you're saying that the white chess piece was used by the Youth Palace to generate gas underground and make it float to the surface?" Zhang Wenda couldn't help but wonder.

"Are you coming or not? If you are, hurry up and get on!" the ticket seller, who had a ticket machine hanging around her neck, said impatiently.

"Let's go! Of course we'll go!" Zhang Wenda led a group of classmates and squeezed onto the crowded bus.

"Tickets! Three cents a ticket!"

There were nine people in total. Each person contributed three cents, which was 27 cents. Zhang Wenda sighed as he watched his savings dwindle, but he understood that this necessary cost had to be paid.

You can't exactly take your underlings to cause trouble for others while you take the bus and make your underlings walk, can you?

Although the bus was large, it was also very crowded. Zhang Wenda felt as if he were in a dense forest full of people's legs. When he looked up, all he could see were lower bodies, and he couldn't even see a face.

Zhang Wenda was already used to this. He sat on one of his shoes as if on a bench and looked at the other students, asking, "Did you all bring your gear?"

Although the rule penalty reappeared, Zhang Wenda did not stop questioning because of the penalty; some questions, no matter how painful, were necessary.

"We brought them." Glasses pulled a wire from his pocket, Fatty pulled a pencil sharpener from his pocket, and the others did the same.

"Hey, never mind. I heard from Fatty that you guys all have special abilities?" Zhang Wenda scratched the scars on his body, trying to find a capable helper among them to deal with Song Jianguo.

"Yes, we all have them." "What kinds?"

"I can cook eggs with my mind, I can conjure water with my own power, I can eat with my nose! I can drink water with my eyes!" Hearing these absurd superpowers, Zhang Wenda couldn't help but feel exhausted.

He regretted hiring these clowns to help him, and wondered if they would even be of any use.

"Don't worry, Rat, with us 'hidden dragons and phoenix chicks' around, no one will dare to cause you trouble!" The fat man showed off his newly learned idiom.

"Stop bragging, we'll see how things go later." Zhang Wenda looked down and touched the red scar on his arm, which had recovered to about one-fifth of its original size. He couldn't help but think to himself, "Does that mean I have some kind of special ability?"

The bus came to a shaky stop, and it was ten minutes later before Zhang Wenda and the others got off.

Looking at the treehouse in the distance, Zhang Wenda immediately stopped thinking nonsense, squeezed the flashlight in his hand, and led a group of people to find trouble for Song Jianguo in a menacing manner.

Reaching the treehouse, Zhang Wenda immediately activated his red light ability and kicked the telephone pole, making it tremble. "Song Jianguo! Get down here! If you don't come down, believe me, I'll tear your house down!"

"Try taking one down." The voice came from behind him. Zhang Wenda turned around and saw Song Jianguo standing on the roof tiles with her large group of black cats.

Zhang Wenda took two steps forward, staring intently at the other person. "I don't like arguing with others, especially with a child, but if you really are a brat, don't think I'll tolerate you."

"Hmph." Song Jianguo was very dissatisfied with Zhang Wenda's arrogant words.

"How old are you? How dare you talk like that?" After saying that, she jumped off the roof like a cheetah and walked slowly towards Zhang Wenda.

“Being your dad is no problem.” In order not to fall behind, Zhang Wenda led a group of classmates toward the other side.

Although he spoke so harshly, Zhang Wenda didn't actually bring these people here to fight Song Jianguo, but rather to prevent the other party from following him.

"Let me tell you, everything has to be reasonable. You tried to take my things for no reason, and then you even sent a cat to secretly follow me. You have no right to complain anywhere."

Song Jianguo lowered his head, looking down at the little guy in front of him. "What reason? Who's going to reason with you? I'll just take it from you, what can you do about it?"

After saying that, she raised her left hand, which was covered by a sleeve, and gently flicked her finger. The cat behind her let out a meow and pounced on Zhang Wenda and the others, scaring the fat man and the others into screaming.

The cat's claws left bloody marks on Zhang Wenda's hand. Zhang Wenda was furious, not expecting the other party to dare to attack so directly.

Just as he grabbed the cat from his face and flung it away, and his vision returned, a flash of cold light appeared before his eyes. Zhang Wenda watched in shock as the spear hurtled towards his eye.

Zhang Wenda instinctively grabbed with his right hand and caught the sharp spear tip in his palm.

With a "splatter" sound, blood splattered from Zhang Wenda's palm.

However, this was Song Jianguo's original intention. He quickly raised his spear, pinning Zhang Wenda's hand to the concrete ground and severely restricting his mobility.

Immediately afterwards, Song Jianguo stepped on Zhang Wenda's chest with one foot to prevent him from getting up, and then reached into his pocket with his right hand.

Zhang Wenda suddenly exerted his strength, sending his opponent flying. He stood up with a footprint on his chest.

Drawing his spear, Zhang Wenda swept it away, shooing back the black cats around him. Pointing the spear tip directly at his opponent, he said viciously, "Little girl! This weapon is mine!"

However, Song Jianguo was not angry at all. Instead, he laughed and waved a green bill in his hand.

"Then this thing belongs to me too."
