Chapter 44 Homework
Chapter 44 Homework
"Bang, bang, bang." Zhang Wenda watched as his aunt pinned Song Jianguo against the wall and began to elbow him wildly, and he felt his stomach start to hurt.
"No, does it really have to be this way?" Zhang Wenda looked speechlessly at the tangible image of his period in front of him.
Although she already knew that the person in front of her was Song Jianguo's aunt, she still felt a little sorry for her seeing her rough behavior.
No matter what, they've been through thick and thin with me, and continuing this fight will only affect the efficiency of eliminating the four pests.
On the wall, Song Jianguo painfully slid down, holding onto his aunt's hand.
"Oh...it's okay. The first day is the most painful, but it will get better in the following days."
"Have you ever thought about bribing your aunt to stop her from hitting you?" Zhang Wenda offered advice to the other party.
Auntie turned her head and glared at Song Jianguo. "This is Lin Bei's job! You little brat, don't interrupt, okay?"
"What will happen if I don't hit him? What kind of punishment will I receive? Do you have any mandatory rules? Is this some kind of 'Menstrual Cycle Rule' nonsense?" Zhang Wenda couldn't help but ask.
"Aren't you asking for a beating? Asking all sorts of questions here! Kid, if you keep talking nonsense, believe me, I'll let you experience what it's like to bleed like a woman!"
The aunt with the thick beard twisted her knuckles and walked toward Zhang Wenda with an unfriendly look.
Zhang Wenda didn't back down from her; he looked up at her curiously.
"Don't you have a name? Or is your name Auntie? This name is wrong too. According to the cultivation school, you are like Auntie who has become a spirit. You should be called Auntie Spirit."
"You son of a bitch!" Auntie, her face full of anger, threw a punch at him.
Seeing that another fight was about to break out, Song Jianguo, pale-faced and clutching his stomach, said painfully, "You damn rat, you still have time to chat here? Don't you really have to go to school?"
Upon hearing this, Zhang Wenda immediately suppressed his intense curiosity, picked up his school uniform, and walked out.
"Damn, I almost forgot! What time is it? Are we going to be late again?"
As soon as they arrived at the treehouse entrance, Zhang Wenda saw Song Jianguo following behind, swaying as he carried a spear. "Where are you going?"
Song Jianguo bit his lip, glared at him fiercely, and said sarcastically, "Didn't you say you wanted to eliminate the four pests?"
Looking at the other person's swaying body, Zhang Wenda shook his head, "Forget it, forget it, you're already like this, why are you still going to work? How about this, I'll be merciful and move Saturday's day off to today, you can just rest today."
"You're really kind..." Seeing Song Jianguo lying on the ground looking dejected, Zhang Wenda grabbed the school uniform and jumped down.
He glanced at the square alarm clock in the center of the town and realized it was almost eight o'clock. Without thinking of anything else, he ran frantically toward the school.
He rushed along the way, even using up the red cores he had just recovered. Finally, before the school bell rang, he sat down in his seat, sweating profusely and panting heavily.
"This is too exciting! I need to find a way to get a watch. How can I stand running around like this every day?"
"Rat, where did you go last night? I went to your house to call you, but you weren't there." The chubby boy, his mouth bulging, looked curiously at Zhang Wenda's disheveled appearance.
"Hey, don't even mention it." Zhang Wenda, feeling hot and bothered from running, reached out and tugged at his collar, too lazy to explain to the other person, knowing that the other person probably wouldn't understand anyway.
The bespectacled man leaned over and asked curiously, "By the way, did you finish your homework for Saturday and Sunday? Teacher Ouyang wants it today." Hearing this, Zhang Wenda felt numb. He had finally made it to the front, only to be met with this ordeal.
"Damn, I almost forgot about that." Reminded, Zhang Wenda quickly took out his homework and started writing again.
As the eraser marked with ABCD flew wildly through the air, Zhang Wenda's pen tip slid rapidly across the paper.
When he heard the ringing bell, Zhang Wenda's hand moved even faster, almost leaving afterimages. This scene stunned the students nearby.
Just before the teacher arrived at the lectern, Zhang Wenda finally finished all his homework. Don't worry about whether it's right or wrong, just tell me how fast he was.
But what made Zhang Wenda both laugh and cry was that the teacher on the podium didn't seem to care at all about checking his homework.
Perhaps Ouyang didn't care at all whether he had done his homework or not; he was just trying to trick himself.
"I already have to deal with all sorts of bizarre and ridiculous things, and now I have to rush to finish my homework. Who can I complain to?" Zhang Wenda thought to himself, rubbing his aching wrist.
But even though he was exhausted, he didn't dare not do it. Before completely defeating the scythe monster, he still had to follow the rules, because it really hurt.
However, Zhang Wenda had already made up his mind that the day he completely defeated this scythe monster would be the day he was finally free from the torment of homework.
"How old am I? Why am I still writing this kind of stuff? Isn't that ridiculous?"
Zhang Wenda casually flipped through a math textbook and discovered that elementary school math has become even more difficult.
After resolving everything, Zhang Wenda, who hadn't slept well the night before, felt sleepy. He glanced at the male teacher on the podium, took out a textbook, placed it in front of him, and then secretly dozed off while leaning back.
Zhang Wenda slept very comfortably, even more comfortably than Song Jianguo's bird's nest, perhaps because the teacher was singing a lullaby in his ear.
Zhang Wenda was woken up by hunger. He hadn't eaten in the morning, and by noon, his stomach was even a little sore from hunger.
He woke up clutching his stomach, looked up at the teacher on the podium, and found that it was an old man he didn't recognize. Then he took out a small piece of eraser and threw it at the head of the chubby boy not far away.
"Hey Fatty, what period is it? What time is it?" Zhang Wenda asked in a low voice to Pan Dongzi, who was looking at him.
"It's the last class, 10 minutes left before class ends." Pan Dongzi showed off his digital watch.
"Has Teacher Ouyang arrived?" Zhang Wenda asked again. He hadn't forgotten his mission to improve his strength. He still didn't understand this world well enough, so he had to ask others. Currently, the only adults he could trust besides Rabbit were Ouyang.
Perhaps I can learn more about the adult world from him.
"No, Ouyang doesn't have any classes today?"
"Huh? No?! Do you know where she lives?"
Two chalk stubs flew over and landed precisely on Zhang Wenda and Pan Dongzi's heads.
"Still daring to whisper? Stand at the back and listen to the lesson!"
