Devil's Bible

Chapter 882 Justice or Injustice

God of Justice.

This is a very famous intermediate-level deity.

To be precise, if there were no such thing as deflection force, then this god of justice must be a powerful deity.

And at this moment, this god of justice is wielding his power.

In his view, Nems was undoubtedly evil.

Any existence that challenges the divine order is evil.

Justice is a concept; the essence of justice is simply a righteous act of doing the right thing.

People need to define what is right first, and then define what is righteous.

According to the God of Justice, the gods of this world are the embodiment of the world's rules; in essence, the gods are the world itself.

If that's the case, then the gods are justice, and anyone who goes against the gods is an unjust and evil individual.

For example, in the Abyss, demons who steal the divine status are considered evil.

For example, there are non-mythical creatures that attempt to become gods, and evil gods that have become distorted and deformed due to their mistaken acquisition of mythical creatures.

The most important thing is taboo; all taboos are evil.

This is the justice of the God of Justice.

After defining all of this, the God of Justice began to uphold justice everywhere.

Anyone who does not revere God, does not obey God, or covets God's presence is an individual he will strike down.

Nemus, who was originally a paladin of the God of Discipline, disobeyed the divine decree, abandoned his self and became a prayer angel, which is evil.

Then, he plunged into the abyss, which was the epitome of evil.

Finally, he even stole the position of God of Transformation in the form of a demon. Nemus has become so evil that he must be dealt with.

Beneath this firm conviction lies a surging divine power of justice.

Faced with the incoming sword strike, Nemus felt his power being invaded, then pushed away and dissipated.

This is the function of justice: all unjust things will be targeted and restrained.

"You seem confused?" Nemus drew his sword and clashed with the opponent's sword of justice. Justice was quickly pulled away from him, and the blade firmly blocked the opponent's attack.

The other party's sense of justice became incredibly weak in his presence.

"It seems you anticipated your situation!"

The God of Justice takes divine justice as its fundamental principle.

He absolutely upholds the rule of the gods, and theoretically, a god who takes all the gods as his foundation must be able to become a powerful deity.

But in reality, he hasn't made any progress since the distant era of the elemental chaos.

At most, it's just some technological innovation and the accumulation of divine power; in essence, there's no upper limit to growth.

In a vague way, the God of Justice had also sought other paths to become a powerful deity, but he could not do so.

"None of you are complete!" Nemus's Heart Sword pierced the hearts of the gods, including the God of Justice.

It's not that the divine essence is incomplete. When the world's possibilities are divided, apart from a few special items, such as the mud spots on the Destiny Tablet, or special items that cannot be replicated like the pages of the Mysterious Book, which will randomly fall during the differentiation, everything else will be complete.

Godhood, as a number of heaven and earth, has perfect functions within the possibilities of the world, and also possesses a full share of the origin.

The incompleteness that Nemes refers to lies within the individual.

Gods like the God of Justice existed long before the elemental chaos. In the division of various world possibilities, naturally, there existed a 'complete' God of Justice within each of those possibilities. The problem lies precisely in this completeness.

Every god of justice is trying to break through the powerful divine force, but their existence is not enough to break through the crystal wall subsystem, so they interfere with each other instead.

Under such interference, it is difficult for them to truly achieve their own 'breakthrough'.

The reason why no one has been able to find a way to become a powerful divine force for hundreds of millions of years is largely due to this.

When deflection force is the dominant force, other paths are not obvious, and in this case, there are other complete systems that disrupt things on their own.

Each time another possible self seeks powerful divine power, its existence will subtly remind other divine worlds of the possibility of its existence through the crystal wall subsystem.

The possibilities of the world are highly correlated with the deflection force.

This reminder was like a blind lamp in the darkness for them; it illuminated the path of the deflecting force but also obscured other paths in the darkness.

So much so that they are all firmly bound to the path of deflection force.

In addition, the path of faith is too difficult to deal with, so much so that only those powerful gods who have mastered the power of deflection can see it.

However, once the deflection force is mastered, there is no need to follow the path of the ancient gods.

The deflection force is very strong, but it does pose a certain obstacle to the path of the ancient gods.

Instead of painstakingly researching the path of the ancient gods, it would be better to push more deflection states in other world possibilities to obtain more deflection forces.

This is why the current phenomenon exists—powerful divine power does not need other methods like the path of the ancient gods to become powerful divine power, while those of medium divine power are 'differentiated' and thus have their paths obscured except for the deflection force.

At this moment, the God of Justice is a typical example.

He was confused at the moment; even now, he still couldn't see through the crystal wall subsystem to observe the possibilities of other worlds.

Because of his exceptional talent, he was able to discover relatively easily that he could never compete with those powerful gods in terms of simply relying on influence to acquire newly generated deflection power.

In this situation, what drove him to seek out Nemus was solely the desire for profit.

“Your confused mind is in turmoil!” Nemus said, his sword twitching slightly as he deflected the sword of the God of Justice.

The God of Justice was given a divine enhancement, but his strength seemed to have weakened compared to before.

Before Nemes could finish speaking, a vast expanse of golden light swept in from behind the God of Justice.

Conceptual pantheon: God of Wealth.

These weren't the only ones fighting against Nemus.

Beneath the storms of the astral planes, the gods of death, the gods of hunting and decay, and the gods of fury, the gods of volcanoes, insect plagues, and drought.

At this moment, they all launched an attack on Nemus.

Previously, both the god of love and the god of justice had openly attracted Nemus's attention.

These deities, under the cover of the astral plane, were making their plans from afar.

When the time comes, we will use the astral mind to bring action characteristics to completely envelop Nemus, thus forming a divine war plan against Nemus!

The light emanating from the God of Justice dimmed slightly.

Although his sense of justice was primarily divine orthodoxy, it was also influenced to some extent by the sense of justice as perceived by the world.

For example, doing things openly and honestly, or doing good deeds.

But now, he couldn't fool himself; he had only acted out of self-interest, joining others in the ambush and siege. (End of Chapter)
