Chapter 26 Treatment
He carefully wrapped the girl in a blanket and laid the skeleton down. Then he attached various vital sign monitoring devices to her. Since there were no instructions, he couldn't connect the heart monitor, but thankfully the pulse monitor worked.

The data didn't seem very good, but Su Ming didn't understand; this was the best he could do with what he had learned in his last cram session.

Su Ming opened the rapid antigen test kit, peeled off a long cotton swab, and poked Bai Gu's nose. The girl was awakened, gave him a resentful look, and then fell asleep again.

Then he switched to Xiao Chuangtou's account and opened the online consultation app on his phone. Miao Xin had a little money in her account, and he had already memorized the payment password. So he splurged on the most expensive option and sent her Bai Gu's condition.

Given the seriousness of the situation, the other party indeed advised him to take the patient to the hospital immediately and not to delay.

Su Ming immediately made up a story about someone disembarking from a ship in the Indian Ocean.

In the story, the group traveled by boat to a small island in the Indian Ocean, where they discovered a group of indigenous people who lived a relatively isolated life. After staying for a few days, they transmitted a virus to one of the indigenous people, who is now in serious condition.

There was only a mediocre doctor on board, but they had a considerable amount of medicine and basic equipment. They had no choice but to urgently seek help from online medical consultation platforms in China, hoping to save the native's life.

Despite being somewhat skeptical, the online doctor who received Su Ming dutifully began their work.

"Patient's gender, age, and weight," the online doctor asked.

"Gender: Female, Age: —"

Upon closer inspection, the skeleton's appearance is actually quite childlike, but she previously stated that she was born twenty-seven years ago.

This gap is still within an acceptable range, but when Su Ming was flipping through the book "A Detailed Explanation of Necromancy - From Beginner to Burial", he saw an article titled "On Becoming a Necromancer with Zero Modeling Foundation", published 122 years ago and signed by Li.

So it's really hard to say for sure.

"She's probably 18, and weighs about 44 kilograms, but definitely less than 45 kilograms," Su Ming said.

"Young woman, thin. What are the patient's current physical signs, and what medications does she take?" the online doctor asked.

"Pulse 105, body temperature 38.8, blood oxygen 93%. Most of the common medications are available."

"History of drug allergies?"

"Does not exist."

After listening to the online doctor, he instructed Su Ming to first inject glucocorticoids and administer azvudine, and then quickly complete all the available reagent tests.

Su Ming had already come up with a way to feed her medicine. He discovered that although Bai Gu was unconscious, she could be woken up by some manipulation. Then, he would put the pills in her mouth and give her water, and she would swallow them with a gulp.

Then, listlessly, she rolled her eyes at him and went back to sleep.

Su Ming almost wanted to do it again, because the way she rolled her eyes was really beautiful—you would never normally see Miss White Bone like this.

However, intravenous injection is a bit troublesome. Preparing the injection solution is easy, but administering the injection is quite a hassle.

Suddenly remembering something, Su Ming granted himself psychic vision. With the help of his X-ray vision, he successfully inserted the needle into a vein on the back of the skeletal hand. However, after finishing, he realized he had forgotten to apply iodine for disinfection—so he used a cotton swab to clean it up.

Ultimately, the online doctor provided a series of treatment options, repeatedly emphasizing that these were merely suggestions and required review and implementation by a qualified doctor.

Su Ming agreed, then took out a syringe, prepared the antibiotics and antiviral drugs prescribed by the doctor, and began to perform a skin test on Bai Gu.

Despite having experienced many things on Earth, Su Ming tried seven or eight times before finally succeeding in leaving a string of red marks on the girl's delicate skin.

After spending over an hour finally getting everything done, Su Ming watched the medicine dripping from the IV line and felt a wave of exhaustion. He walked to the skeleton bed, sat down, and took out a magic crystal from his pocket, activating a body detection spell. He had the girl make this for him; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to use this water-based magic.

A blue light enveloped the girl, and large patches of color shone through her skeletal remains, still varied and shocking. However, Su Ming was pleased to find that they had indeed decreased in number compared to when he first investigated a few hours earlier.

Su Ming breathed a sigh of relief. Although there was still a long way to go, at least the situation had been stabilized for now.

He began administering fever-reducing medication to Bai Gu as instructed by the doctor, observing the patient's condition, and changing the injection fluid.

Taking a break, he controlled the little troublemaker to run to the sanatorium director's house and ransack it. Afterwards, he had Miao Xin merge with the little troublemaker and ordered her to hide in the nearby mountains.

Miao Xin responded after a while, the mission was completed.

Su Ming glanced at it; it was well hidden, inside a grassy culvert on the mountain.

While organizing the medication records, he also prepared and changed the injection drugs. As dawn approached, Su Ming remeasured Bai Gu's vital signs and then continued with his online consultations.

"Currently, the heart rate here is 103, body temperature is 37.2, blood oxygen is 95%, respiration rate is 22, and blood pressure is 105/70."

"It's improved a bit. Don't worry, you can't see how the viruses are fighting inside your body," the online doctor reassured him.

“No, I can see it,” Su Ming said. “The total volume has decreased by about 20% compared to before.”

"...Then please continue taking the medication."

"it is good."

In the afternoon, Bai Gu woke up and told Su Ming that she was a little hungry, and she seemed to be in much better spirits.

After the girl's temperature came down, her head and clothes were covered in sweat. Su Ming took a towel to dry her off and then brought her his own pajamas to change into.

Su Ming checked the remaining instant noodles; there were two boxes left, one of which he had activated for use as ingredients. After the spell was dispelled, the appearance didn't change, but Su Ming wasn't sure if it was still edible.

He had only casually ate a few sausages last night, and he was quite hungry now.

He soaked the unactivated instant noodles in water, added a sausage, and served it to Bai Gu.

The girl still looked listless and wasn't very interested in instant noodles. But once she started eating, her appetite was surprisingly good, and she finished off the noodles and ham one fork after another.

Helpless, Su Ming drank the rest of the noodle soup.

After eating the bones, he didn't go to sleep immediately. Instead, he sat by the bed, looking at the indwelling needle in the back of his hand and the intravenous syringe that was dripping blood.

She waved her hand listlessly, watching the tiny air bubbles rise to the surface of the IV tubing.

"Hey, don't move that hand around." Su Ming quickly stopped him. "It would be troublesome if it got leaked. I worked so hard to get it bandaged."

"So the other holes on the back of my hand were also made by you?" White Bone asked.

"Sorry, this is your first time getting a shot."

The skeleton, once it regained consciousness, didn't give Su Ming a disapproving look, which made him quite disappointed.

The scholar reached out and performed several body probing techniques, only to be astonished by the feedback.
