Chapter 58 Hell on Earth, K3

Chapter 58 Hell on Earth, K3
The following morning, at the Yaroslavl train station in Moscow, a biting wind was blowing.

On the platform, Qin Yuan, wrapped in a thick sheepskin-collared coat, stood tall and straight like a pine tree.

Standing before him were Gangzi, Magan'er, Chen Jianhua, Wang Haiyang, Li Xiangqian, Zhang Wei, and Natasha, who had come to see him off.

"Brother Yuan, be careful on the road!" Chen Jianhua's voice was filled with a hint of reluctance and solemnity.

"Mr. Qin, the tickets and documents are safe." Natasha handed over an envelope containing the tickets and documents, and instructed, "You can exchange them at any Soviet bank when you arrive in Khalobavsk."

"Brother, if anything happens when you get there, just call me anytime!" Gangzi patted his chest.

Ma Gan'er nodded vigorously: "Don't worry, Brother Yuan, we've got you covered!"

Qin Yuan's gaze swept over the familiar faces, a calm smile on his face: "Alright, go back now. Keep an eye on the house, and wait for me to come back."

He waved his hand casually, then turned and stepped onto the dark green steel behemoth parked beside the platform.

Train K645.

Kharobavsk is one of the stops on the direct route from Moscow to Pingliang.

This railway, nearly 10,000 kilometers long, traverses the Siberian wilderness and is one of the longest railway lines in the world.

This steel artery not only carried people, but also served as a lifeline connecting the Soviet Union's core with its Far Eastern frontier and even supplying North Korea.

Qin Yuan was well aware of the importance of this railway.

Following the directions on his ticket, he quickly found his sleeper compartment.

The private room was simply furnished, but fairly clean.

He carefully placed his briefcase, which contained traveler's checks worth 900,000 rubles, against the wall inside his bunk before taking off his coat and hanging it up.

He sat down by the window, gazing out the window.

On the platform, the crowds who had come to see them off had dispersed, leaving only a few staff members and passengers.

Beneath the massive dome, steel tracks stretch into the distance, disappearing beyond Moscow's leaden-gray skyline.

Soon, the train let out a long, deep whistle and slowly started moving.

The platform outside the window began to move backward, faster and faster.

The magnificent or dilapidated buildings of Moscow were gradually left behind, and the view opened up.

The train left the city and entered the suburbs.

Outside the window stretched an endless wasteland covered in thick snow.

The harsh winter of Siberia, in its most primitive and cruel form, unfolded before Qin Yuan's eyes.

Meanwhile, train K3.

The vehicle had been rumbling along for four full days and nights.

The train has left the Soviet Union and is now traveling across the vast grasslands and deserts of Mongolia.

The air inside the carriage was heavy and oppressive.

The fatigue of the long journey was etched on the faces of every passenger.

Outside the window lay a monotonous, withered yellow meadow covered with a thin layer of snow, occasionally dotted by a few low yurts, making the landscape appear even more desolate.

The atmosphere was relatively quiet in the four-person soft sleeper compartment where Binzi and Wu Weiguo were.

Binzi sat on the lower bunk, his gaze returning from the window to Wu Weiguo, who was resting with his eyes closed on the opposite bunk.

In two more days, they will be able to return to Yanjing.

suddenly!

"boom!"

"Crack-!"

A dull thud, mixed with the crackling of shattering glass, suddenly came from the next carriage!
Immediately following was a man's loud shout:

"Robbery! Don't the hell move! Anyone who moves, I'll stab them to death!"

The sound was like a thunderclap, instantly shattering the dull tranquility inside the carriage!
Binzi's expression changed drastically, and he suddenly sprang up from his bunk!
Almost at the same moment, Wu Weiguo, who was in the opposite bunk, suddenly opened his eyes!
Those eyes, which were originally calm and serene, now flashed with a sharp light, as sharp as a hawk's! A tangible, cold and powerful aura instantly emanated from him!
The two exchanged a glance, and without a word, they both saw shock and solemnity in each other's eyes!

problem occurs!
The next carriage!

Wu Weiguo moved with lightning speed, landing on his feet in a single flip, and silently approached the door of the private room, listening intently.

Binzi immediately followed, holding his breath.

The hallway outside instantly became noisy and chaotic!

Terrified screams, suppressed sobs from women, harsh shouts, and the dull thuds of something blunt striking a person... all mixed together like a symphony of hell!

"Ah—! Don't hit me! The money...you can have all the money!"

"Please! Spare my daughter..."

"Damn it! Hiding it in a shoe? You're asking for it!"

"Behave yourself! Hand over all your valuables!"

Wu Weiguo's eyes were cold. He carefully opened the compartment door a crack, his sharp gaze sweeping towards the adjacent compartment like a probe.

The passageway to the next carriage was blocked by two menacing-looking figures!

One of them was lean and wiry, with eyes as sinister as an eagle's, and he held a gleaming dagger in his hand!

He recognized the man; he was the one following behind Kayo, I think his name was something like Falcon!
He stood blocking the doorway, the tip of his dagger pointed intentionally or unintentionally at the terrified crowd inside the carriage, a cruel grin playing on his lips.

The other one was burly and muscular, like a humanoid beast, and was none other than "Lynx"!
He was carrying a heavy iron pipe that he had taken from somewhere, and he was impatiently banging it against the side of the carriage, making a dull "clanging" sound that intimidated everyone.

Behind them, a man wearing a black leather jacket, with a well-proportioned figure, a stern face, and a faint scar on his left eyebrow, was pacing leisurely.

He toyed with an old but well-maintained Tokarev (TT-33) pistol in his hand, the muzzle occasionally sweeping casually across the crowd, bringing a deathly silence of fear!
Kayo!

His face was expressionless, his eyes were frighteningly calm, as if the bloody robbery before him had nothing to do with him, or as if he had everything under control.

He simply scanned the passengers in the carriage, who were like lambs to the slaughter, with his cold eyes, searching for any potential resistance or valuable prey.

Under their coercion, the passengers in the carriage were already terrified.

"Everyone, please cooperate. We don't kill anyone, we only want money."

Kayo's voice slammed down; he didn't even consider the people of this world to be human.

In his eyes, they were all game NPCs, just data.

Therefore, he did not hesitate at all.

He pulled a shifty-eyed middle-aged man from his seat, pointed a gun at his head, and said, "But if anyone doesn't cooperate, like this man..."

"what!"

The middle-aged man screamed as the lynx's iron pipe slammed into the back of his hand.

The lynx bent down and pulled a money bag from under the middle-aged man's seat.

Unzip it, and tens of thousands of rubles in bright colors catch the eye.

"Still trying to hide?" Lynx struck again with his stick, six blows in a second.

This scene had a tremendous deterrent effect.

They also knew that the K3 train was dangerous and that they might encounter highway robbers on the way.

But I never expected to be so unlucky as to actually encounter this situation!

A young man watched this scene and huddled in a corner, clutching his backpack tightly.

Falcon appeared in front of him, pointing a dagger at him. He was so frightened that tears streamed down his face. In the end, he could only hand over his backpack in despair, which contained all the savings he had prepared to take home.

An old man was trying to stuff a few dollars into his sock when he was spotted by a lynx. The lynx mercilessly smashed a metal pipe into his back, and the old man screamed and fell to the ground. The money was taken from him, and he convulsed in pain on the ground.

The stench of blood mixed with the sweat of fear filled the carriage.

Cries, pleas for mercy, shouts and sneers from the thugs... all intertwined to create a scene of hell on earth.
