Chapter 25 Fury (Part 3)
Major Bandar's orders clearly went unanswered, as all the tanks in the camp had been deployed, so he could only watch helplessly as the lieutenant colonel sped off in his AMX-13 at the front lines.

At the same time, Lu Lin was also ambushed by Zion infantry. As he fired at the chieftain, the bullets from three machine guns lashed out like whips.

Bullets clanged against the vehicle, and a 7.62mm bullet pierced the left observation window and grazed the driver's eyebrow.

"Mom!"

The driver yelled, thinking he had died a heroic death. Lu Lin glanced at him and said, "It's nothing, just a small scratch! There are girls watching here! Be a man!"

Yehena said earnestly, "Don't worry, if you sacrifice yourself, I will take over driving the tank for the lieutenant colonel."

Lu Lin: "Did you hear that! You're not even as brave as a girl!"

After the original commander was removed from the vehicle, Lu Lin took over the position of commander and gunner, while Yehena was responsible for reminding them to avoid shells.

Enzi in the sky was responsible for providing him with a global view, which made Lu Lin think he was playing "World of Tanks".

Zion's infantry rarely equipped themselves with anti-tank rockets because they believed that their own tanks were enough to crush the enemy's armored forces, and that the infantry's job was simply to provide cover and clear blind spots.

So when Lu Lin charged up in his AMX-13, the infantrymen's first reaction was to hide behind their own tanks, and only then did they belatedly begin to fight back with machine guns and grenades.

Lu Lin shouted, "On my command, turn the turret 30 degrees to the left, armor-piercing shells, fire!"

He specifically targeted the Chieftain's weakest points: the turret and side armor. The first 105mm armor-piercing round hit the welded area of the side armor, and the second round penetrated the ammunition compartment.

Lu Lin watched as the tank commander in the chieftain scrambled out of the control tower, so he climbed out onto the roof and used the roof-mounted machine gun to send the enemy to their deaths.

"Reverse and change position!"

After using the terrain to his advantage to destroy the second Chieftain, Lu Lin did not hesitate to give the order to switch positions. The light tracks of the AMX-13 frantically dug through the sand and rapidly retreated to the other side of the dune.

Lu Lin switched to the eagle's perspective again, and this time he suddenly noticed a conspicuous mark lit up on a mountaintop not far away!

It was the commander of the Tin Armored Forces!
Lu Lin was overjoyed at the sight of the target; the bright red marker was hard to miss. He grabbed the radio and shouted, "See that hill with trees in the distance? Give it a good blast with the mortars!"

"Is that Lieutenant Colonel Amir?" The voice on the other end of the radio was full of surprise.

"Who else could it be but me? Does that guy Bandar know how to use artillery besides driving tanks?" Lu Lin laughed and scolded.

The artillery position immediately replied: "Roger!"

Two minutes later, he saw through the eagle's perspective that the artillery position had opened fire, and high-explosive shells were being thrown at the hill as if they were free, turning the entire hill into a sea of fire.

As the mark disappeared from sight, Lu Lin burst into laughter.

This time, at least we didn't let that guy get away!

But then he heard Yehena shout, "Back up!"

The driver reacted quickly, and the three of them worked together more and more seamlessly. The next second, an armor-piercing round passed right in front of them.

Lu Lin quickly switched to the Eagle's view and realized that his crew had rushed too far ahead. By the time he came to his senses, they were already surrounded by enemy tanks.

They could only huddle behind the only shelter, a sand dune, as the chieftain slowly approached, aiming his cannons at them.

"The lieutenant colonel is trapped!"

Ahmed saw this through his binoculars and was extremely anxious.

Just moments ago, AMX-13 seemed to have descended like a divine warrior, but now it was like a cornered beast fighting desperately, and the situation had suddenly reversed.

As a Chieftain tank circled around to the side and aimed at the tank Lu Lin was riding in, the veteran's heart sank to the bottom. There is a kind of distance that is so close yet so far.

Just then, the sound of tearing cloth came from the sky.

A jet fighter flashed across the sky above the Nukoshir outpost, its entire body painted in camouflage and its nose spitting out shark fangs.

Ahmed instinctively shouted "Take cover!" But the oddly shaped fighter jet wasn't targeting them; it was targeting Zion's armored forces.

The next second, the air-to-ground missile landed.

Everyone clearly saw a white missile trailing a plume of flame pierce the chieftain's armor directly above it with pinpoint accuracy. Immediately afterward, the entire heavy tank "bounced" off the ground and exploded in mid-air, with massive flames spilling out from every crevice of the tank.

"God, what is that?"

A soldier muttered to himself.

But if Lu Lin were here, he would probably recognize at a glance that this fighter jet is an F-4 Phantom produced by the United States, and that it is carrying the famous Maverick air-to-ground missile.

A Saxon accent came through the radio.

Ahmed didn't understand, but Major Bandar did. He shouted into the radio, "United States air support is here! They'll help us deal with the Zion tanks!"

"Well done!" Ahmed shouted.

Unfortunately, the F-4 Phantom II had a limited missile load, carrying only six missiles. After accurately destroying six Chieftains, including the one that threatened Lu Lin, it turned back to base.

Meanwhile, Zion's ground forces also came to their senses and began to reorganize their final assault.

Major Bandar was about to call the artillery position when he found only static on the radio.

A centurion ran over the burning wreckage of a Sherman, followed by infantrymen armed with flamethrowers.

At this moment, the 120mm smoothbore cannons deployed in the outpost came in handy. Lu Lin had long ago ordered these two heavy cannons to be laid flat and hidden, and now they finally came in handy.

With a deafening roar, the shell accurately struck the bottom of the centurion's turret, penetrating the armor and nearly flipping the iron giant over.

However, the remaining crew of Zion became cautious. They didn't know what caliber the cannon was, so they stopped charging and instead relied on their distance advantage to begin long-range fire suppression.

Meanwhile, the outpost lost its artillery advantage, as the chief's heavy artillery could now fire directly into the outpost, rendering the fortifications ineffective.

"The United States' support has arrived! We have to rescue the lieutenant colonel! His tanks can penetrate the chief's armor!" Ahmed shouted.

His first thought was to use smoke generators; by creating a large-scale smoke screen, he could help Amir escape.

However, Shuangzhi's smoke launchers are all vehicle-mounted and cannot reach that far unless someone can drive an M3 or rush to the enemy with a smoke grenade.

The veteran looked at the M3 infantry fighting vehicle behind him and gripped the pistol at his waist.

“Look there, Lieutenant Colonel!”

The driver exclaimed, "Smoke is rising!"

Lu Lin looked toward the checkpoint and saw several vehicles rushing out from both sides, flooring the gas pedal and charging forward. Smoke grenades were rhythmically fired from the sides of the vehicles, like a white curtain being drawn up.

The Zion troops also noticed this unusual behavior, and immediately opened fire with machine guns and tank cannons.

The lead infantry fighting vehicle was hit in the fuel tank and burst into flames instantly, but another vehicle then emerged from its burning black smoke and continued charging towards the enemy, carrying the white curtain of smoke even further away. Besides the infantry fighting vehicles, the camp seemed to have deployed every mobile vehicle imaginable; soldiers in reconnaissance vehicles used smoke grenade launchers, the smoke bursting into white fireworks on the battlefield.

Lu Lin soon heard someone calling him over the radio: "Lieutenant Colonel! Head north!"

The three men immediately realized that this was a rescue force, and they were risking their lives to cover their crew's evacuation.

Yehena pursed her lips, her nails digging into her palms until they bled: "They're throwing their lives away!"

Lu Lin clenched his fists. He could only watch helplessly as these people sacrificed themselves for him. If only he could take down the remaining enemy tanks.

The AMX-13's 105mm main gun was only confident of penetrating the Chieftain's side armor at a range of 800 meters or less, but now that they were more than 2,000 meters away, their shells would be deflected by the angle of the armor.

They will only have a chance to turn the tide if they can drive the tanks within 800 meters.

However, the Zionians are now very cautious and dare not engage in close combat with the Twins' soldiers. Even the chieftains equipped with inclined rolled steel are positioned far away.

Lu Lin felt his head burning and his temples throbbing. Looking at the smoke rising from the battlefield, a bold idea suddenly came to him.

He shouted, "We won't retreat! Use the smoke as cover and charge straight in! Take out Zion's tanks!"

Lu Lin felt his heart pounding. He had a cheat code, a global vision; in this environment, the opposing team was a bunch of blind people, no one would notice their movements. He had only one thought in his mind:
Screw the retreat, I'm going to kill these Zion bastards!

The driver was stunned by his "crazy" idea and stammered, "But our visibility is poor, and the smoke will also obstruct our direction."

"You can't go wrong if you follow my instructions!" Lu Lin shouted. "Allah will guide us!"

He discovered that God was truly useful; whenever he needed an excuse, he could use God's name to cover up his cheating.

"Uh," the driver secretly glanced at the female prophet beside him and found that she did not object.

"Forward!" Lu Lin gave his first command: "Turn left 15 degrees, maintain speed of 30 km/h!"

He had switched to a hawk's perspective to survey the entire situation. All enemy units had been marked by him, while in the real world there was only a milky white fog.

The driver gripped the control lever tightly, the tracks crushing over the burning wreckage with a sickening cracking sound, but he dared not slow down.

"Those two hillbillies from Shuangzhi are insane! They actually dare to drive a jeep right up to a tank!" the tank driver of Zion Chieftain No. 124 scoffed. "I've never seen such a stupid tactic before!"

“Perhaps their commander isn’t as brilliant as Lieutenant Colonel Avi says,” the driver interjected. “Maybe he knows how to use artillery, but not how to deal with our tanks!”

"There isn't a single general in the entire Arab world who knows how to fight!"

The entire crew burst into laughter.

At that moment, a deafening cannon blast shook the entire Chieftain vehicle, abruptly silencing everyone's laughter. The commander shouted into the radio, "124 has been hit! 124 has been hit!"

"Armor-piercing rounds, fire!"

Lu Lin's voice roared inside the tank, the roar of the 105mm gun almost shattering eardrums.

The second shell hit the same spot as the previous one precisely, this time penetrating the armor completely. The metal jet refracted wildly inside the armor, turning the entire vehicle compartment into a furnace.

After confirming that the red highlighted markers had completely disappeared, Lu Lin gave the order: "Reverse! Turn right and take cover!"

His instructions were executed precisely—the driver was now completely emptied of his mind; his ears were there specifically to hear Lu Lin's commands.

As soon as the AMX-13 slid into the crater, three armor-piercing rounds struck its original spot, and the shockwave sent sand and dust raining down on the vehicle.

It's likely that the 124 vehicle that just fired the warning, but the other side still hasn't pinpointed their exact location.

The Shuangzhi infantry fighting vehicle was still charging forward, and soon attracted the attention of the other tanks. They probably thought it was the infantry inside the vehicle shooting with RPGs.

These soldiers cannot have sacrificed their lives in vain!
He felt his whole body burning hot.
He felt a throbbing sensation in his temples.

They approached the second Chieftain like ghosts from the flank, while in Lu Lin's view, the Chieftain was reversing, trying to escape the smoke and regain visibility.

The AMX-13's main gun fired again, the shell precisely striking the bottom of the Chieftain's turret and completely jamming it.

The infantry below began to counterattack, and Lu Lin grabbed a machine gun and started firing.
"The lieutenant colonel has gone mad." The driver was terrified.

But only Yehena stared blankly at the man; in her eyes, Lu Li was like a burning sun.

Zion's infantry fell like wheat being harvested. As the main gun fired into the chieftain's hull, followed by the detonation of ammunition, Lu Lin shouted, "Next one!"

Meanwhile, the opposing team noticed the tanks hidden in the smoke. One of the Chieftains began to reverse, while Lu Lin was hiding behind cover to their side and rear.

He had already adjusted the angle of the gun barrel in advance, and when the tank and the main gun were aligned in a straight line, Lu Lin roared, "Fire!"

In his opinion, the 105mm main gun was even faster.

The armor-piercing shell hit the target, and Lu Lin saw flames erupt from the hatch.

His performance inspired the soldiers in other trenches, and many teams shouted and began to charge while throwing smoke grenades and carrying rocket launchers.

The two sides clashed again. The only remaining chieftain, number 205, occupied the high ground. A Shuangzhi reconnaissance vehicle rushed towards it amidst smoke, but its engine was blown up by machine gun fire.

His order was: "Charge towards the enemy on the mountaintop!"

The AMX-13's engine roared once again.

The tracks of Chieftain No. 205 were broken, so it could only be parked here as a fixed gun emplacement. The commander had never seen such a bizarre situation before, and the other crews lost signal one by one.

The message coming through the radio was that "Death" was lurking in the smoke.

He looked at everything through the mirror, but all he could see was fog, and he could hear the sound of engines, but it seemed to be coming from all directions.

He knew the enemy was coming. The tank commander was on edge, staring intently at the direction from which the sound came, and adjusting the angle of the turret.

But the engine stopped the next second.

A nimble falcon emerged from the smoke and soared in the sunlight.

The tank commander stared blankly at the scene. Then, as the smoke cleared, he saw an AMX-13 tank extremely close by, its dark gun barrel almost touching his periscope.

"Oh, God"

The train conductor murmured.

The next second, the AMX-13 fired.

The train commander and the entire 205 train crew were blown to bits.
