Chapter 66 Who was it last night?

Yang Huimin only woke up somewhat groggily when Jiang Xun half-carried Yang Kaiyi and opened the car door to put her inside.

When she learned that Yang Kaiyi had sprained his ankle, although she scolded him a little, she still went over to check on him with concern.

Feeling guilty, Yang Kaiyi lowered his head, afraid that his aunt would notice his flushed cheeks, while Jiang Xun quickly chose to make an excuse to urinate.

Given Yang Kaiyi's inability to hide his feelings, if he were there, Yang Huimin would most likely have noticed something.

After Jiang Xun returned, he said to the two people in the car with a hint of helplessness:

"I have good news and bad news. Which do you want to hear first?"

"Speak!" "Speak!" The two women glared at him simultaneously, as expected of aunt and niece.

Jiang Xun stopped playing coy and said directly:

"When I went to wash my hands in the roadside pond, I saw that a section of the road below was frozen, and we probably wouldn't be able to get down there for a while."

"No way?"

This news clearly surprised Yang Huimin and Yang Kaiyi, but they weren't panicked, since they had a car and snacks inside.

"And what's the good news?" Yang Kaiyi couldn't help but ask.

“The good news is…” Jiang Xun smiled knowingly, “we can spend the night together on this mountain tonight.”

"Pah!" "Pah!" Both women's cheeks were burning, clearly thinking that Jiang Xun's ambiguous words were directed at them.

Yang Huimin then personally went to check that section of mountain road. Because the road surface was wet, it had now frozen into ice, making it impossible for vehicles to travel.

And although it's no longer snowing, that section of road definitely won't melt anytime soon; it will have to wait until at least tomorrow morning.

Just as Jiang Xun said, they would probably have to spend the night on this mountain.

Yang Huimin and Yang Kaiyi are of course fine; the two of them together, their families have no worries about where they go.

Jiang Xun could only call his mother and make an excuse that he was going to an internet cafe with his classmates for the whole night.

Given his current grades and performance, his mother didn't say much, just told him to come home early tomorrow to rest.

This is how top students are treated at home. If someone were a poor student, they would get a severe scolding and have to go home immediately.

The three of them returned to the car, and none of them seemed frustrated at all; on the contrary, the atmosphere was quite relaxed.

Especially Yang Kaiyi, whose eyes could hardly hide the joy and smugness that occasionally flashed when he made eye contact with Jiang Xun.

It was already four or five o'clock in the afternoon. Yang Huimin took out a large bag of snacks that she had bought in advance, and the three of them filled their stomachs first.

Then Yang Kaiyi pulled out a deck of cards from behind, and the three of them started playing Dou Dizhu (a popular Chinese card game).

When it came time to set the bets, Jiang Xun suggested taking off a piece of clothing if he lost a round, but both women objected and beat him up.

However, even without any bets, it's still hot inside the car with the air conditioning on, and wearing too many layers isn't very comfortable either.

So as they played, all three of them took off their coats, and Yang Kaiyi also took off her pink tulle skirt, leaving only her undershirt underneath.

Yang Huimin and Yang Kaiyi were wearing the same innerwear, both cashmere base layers, which were lightweight, warm, and flattering. The three played until around 9 PM, when Yang Kaiyi started to feel sleepy, having expended a lot of energy jumping around during the day.

So they lowered the front seats, letting the tall and long-legged Jiang Xun sleep alone in the back, while the two women slept in the front.

After turning off the headlights, the car was plunged into complete darkness, and the surroundings were so foggy that you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

The three chatted briefly for a while, then Yang Kaiyi fell asleep first. Jiang Xun and Yang Huimin couldn't chat freely either, so they played on their phones for a bit before also falling asleep.

Although Jiang Xun jokingly suggested spending the night together, as if something was about to happen, he actually didn't dare to do anything, genuinely believing that these two women were not to be trifled with.

But just as he was drifting off to sleep, he suddenly felt someone rustling in the front row climb up to the back row and then squeeze into his arms.

A faint fragrance accompanied the soft, delicate body, like a ball of cotton clinging to him, instantly waking him up.

But before he could react, he felt his lips being filled with something delicate and soft.

……

A good ten minutes or so passed before the sound of an owl suddenly rang out from outside the window, causing the two of them to tense up and dare not move.

A moment later, the soft thing in my arms slipped out quietly like a fish and then returned to the front row.

A faint fragrance and a strange smell lingered in the air, along with two restless heartbeats and heavy breathing.

One minute, two minutes... ten minutes...

His breathing gradually became steady in the darkness, his heartbeat returned to calm, and the air became still again.

About half an hour later, both of them seemed to fall asleep slowly due to the intense emotional fluctuations and the fierce confrontation they had just had, feeling slightly exhausted.

Jiang Xun slept soundly through the night without any dreams, not waking up until after nine o'clock in the morning.

When he woke up, Yang Huimin and Yang Kaiyi were no longer in the car; they had gone outside to admire the snow scene at the foot of the mountain that morning.

Neither of them seemed to show any abnormality when they saw him, as if neither of them had been the one last night.

Jiang Xun also acted as if nothing was wrong. He went down the mountain to check the frozen section of the mountain road and found that it was starting to thaw. He figured if he drove slowly, he should be able to get down.

The three of them ate some snacks, and around 10 o'clock, they slowly drove down the mountain.

The car drove back to the county town. Jiang Xun got off at the spot where he got on, waved goodbye to the two women, and watched the car drive away.

The two women in the car acted both normally and abnormally today; in short, something was off about them.

But who cares? Jiang Xun was too lazy to dwell on it. The new year had begun, and he had a lot to do.

First, there's the decoration and design of internet cafes. The arrival of League of Legends in China in the second half of the year will bring internet cafe business to its peak, and making money is a certainty.

But if it's an internet cafe with ordinary decor, it can only make a little money. But if he designs it himself, it's a different story.

For example, we can choose a name with a good meaning, such as "King's Internet Cafe".
