America: My Time

Chapter 1027 The Suppression Begins

Chapter 1027 The Suppression Begins
Chapter 1017 The Suppression Begins

Oilfield Capital's actions were swift and decisive. Though reluctant to admit it, those guys moved with lightning speed. Driven by profit, the three forces went all out. With their concerted efforts, even the greatest resistance could be overcome. And this was the inevitable outcome; this is America. Before the power of capital, nothing is a problem. If they have the will, they can do anything. Once the donkey moved, the operation against John unfolded frantically, and under this force, the result was swift!

Unfortunately, these guys were too late. John had already anticipated their scheme. The technology imported from the factories in China, as well as the issues with the lithography machines, had already been resolved, and the transport ships had already returned. Their attempt to suppress John had failed. The lithography machines that ASML and ASUS previously worked on, which were previously unrestricted, had already been shipped to China, and the production lines needed by the Chinese factories had also been delivered long ago.

They were dumbfounded. When they learned about the situation in Taiwan, they were immediately stunned. Even if they wanted to stop everything, it was too late. ASML had already been sold, and it was too late to say anything.

"Those bastards have indeed started targeting ASML and my investments in China. Unfortunately for them, their calculations have backfired. I've already completed my plan. I wonder if those guys will be so angry they'll vomit blood when they find out about the situation in Taiwan!" John couldn't help but sneer as he received ASML's call.

Before coming to China, John had already anticipated that the other party was going to make a move and had made preparations. Asmai also notified his boss immediately, as this was something his boss back home had instructed him to do long ago, and he dared not delay.

“John, you should relax. It’s almost the holidays, and you’re still so busy. No matter how important business is, you need to take care of your health. You have to learn to relax!” Seeing that John hadn’t stopped working since arriving in China, Anna, as his mother, couldn’t accept it. After all, a mother’s child’s health is more important!

"I'll keep an eye on it. It's not a big deal, but those guys from the US have started to move. The factories in Taiwan received a notice from the US that ASML can no longer sell advanced lithography machines to China. The electronics factories there also received a notice. Those guys from the US are determined to be my enemy. Unfortunately for them, they're still one step behind. I've already completed my plan, and they won't be able to do anything to me for a long time!"

“John, it’s better to reconcile if possible. There’s no need to keep fighting them. It’s not good for you. Even the wisest person can make a mistake. You can’t always have everything under control. Just one mistake can cause you a lot of losses.”

"I know, and it is precisely because I know that I have no choice but to have a real showdown with the donkey. This is not only aimed at the donkey, but also at the oil capital and those old guys like Rockefeller. I want them to know how much they will pay for their actions. Only by making them feel pain can we deter them from making any rash moves!"

I feel relaxed here in China. At least I don't have to worry about being targeted by the media or any other problems. I may be a bit busy, but I'm in high spirits. I feel incredibly happy to see my enemies suffer. Even if these guys know they've been tricked, they can only swallow their anger. They brought this on themselves.

John had a clear understanding of the situation in the United States. At least the security personnel he had left there would help him find out exactly who the enemies and friends were. This failure would accelerate their other plans. He just needed to wait for them to make their move and for them to walk right into his trap. If they didn't make a move, how could he have any reason to continue transferring manufacturing?

"Suit yourself. I hope you know what you're doing and don't push people too far, or a lot of trouble will ensue. Don't treat those guys like fools!"

John smiled calmly and said, "I know. I've never considered them fools. I take them very seriously. It's just that I understand their greed even better. Dealing with a bunch of greedy bastards is pointless; they'll cause trouble on their own without you even having to lift a finger. I want to see them continue causing trouble. If they don't, my plan can't begin. I'm currently in China, not in the US, but the moment Donald came to power, he targeted my company. If this gets out into the public eye, it'll be clear whether it's my fault or theirs. I'm not one of those people who lack propaganda skills. If things escalate, it won't be me who suffers, but them. Breaking the rules has consequences. This isn't the first time they've done this. If they strike again, I'll have even more reason to ruthlessly eliminate them and deliver a fatal blow!" John paused here, a faint smile appearing on his face, and said, "That's right. I need to give them a little more stimulation, to make them even more frenzied. Once they lose their minds, the situation will become even more chaotic."

John quickly called ASML again, urging them to expedite the acquisition of Zeiss. John believed there wouldn't be any problems with the German side; at least the previous farce in Europe would make them more clear-headed about 'cooperating' with John, and they couldn't possibly sabotage John's acquisition. Most importantly, negotiations had been going on for some time, and they weren't opposed to the acquisition!

Watching John continue to cause trouble for the guys in the US, put pressure on the donkeys, and give oil capital more impact, even making arrangements that gave Rockefeller and the other old guys headaches, his family didn't say anything more. From this series of actions, it can be seen that John had made all the preparations long ago and now everything is under control!
Not only would Germany not oppose ASML's acquisition of Zeiss, but even France wouldn't cause trouble. After all, with the significant increase in production capacity at the Chinese factories, the product shortage there was immediately filled. After all of Japan's orders were cancelled, Europe naturally secured those orders, and in terms of software, they were no match. As a Silicon Valley giant, John's software expertise was immense, and global satellite navigation companies had already completed mapping of major global markets and established comprehensive navigation infrastructure. The Europeans naturally knew how to make their choice.

Many initially believed that ASML's withdrawal from Europe would be affected, but now they finally understand that everything was prepared in advance. ASML not only did not experience any setbacks, but it also made further progress. If they hadn't known that ASML had solved the problem of optical lenses, they might have still tried to stop Zeiss's Namo Win, but now no one would do that.

If Zeiss were making money, that would be fine, but Zeiss isn't making money right now. Instead, it's being beaten down by those Japanese guys. It's not just Zeiss; the entire European electronics industry is in the same boat. In the eyes of almost all European companies, those Japanese guys are the biggest threat. Now that ASML wants to acquire Zeiss, Deutsche is naturally willing to accept.

Just as John had anticipated, as ASML accelerated its acquisition of Zeiss, Oilfield Capital dared not continue to allow John's expansion, and Donkey had to speed up their suppression efforts. The American Online plan had already begun, and soon Silicon Valley was filled with jubilation. With the implementation of this internet superhighway plan, Silicon Valley's startup scene accelerated at an astonishing pace. Meanwhile, John's plan was also unfolding silently. Commodity websites, gaming websites, and various other internet companies were emerging in Silicon Valley, but amidst the massive wave of entrepreneurs, they went unnoticed.

Meanwhile, those guys in California have set their sights on the two major media companies, Paramount and Universal Pictures. In short, they're still talking about how these two companies suppress actors' salaries. The Screen Actors Guild is also getting involved. Most importantly, because of the push from oily capital, the Directors Guild and Producers Guild are also raising concerns. Some people are actually willing to accept it! Although they are not Hollywood giants, there are quite a few well-known figures among them, Spielberg being one of them.

Although Spielberg had the support of Universal Pictures and two major film projects, he still partnered with OPEC Capital, which greatly angered Robert Iger. Most importantly, Spielberg had already announced his intention to establish his own film company, a move that had a huge impact on Hollywood, with Universal Pictures being the most affected! This was practically challenging the bottom line of the two media giants, and Robert Iger was well aware of how serious the consequences would be.

In a short period of time, one thing after another happened in the United States. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence could see that this was a suppression targeting John. This situation caused a lot of noise in the United States, but John's counterattack did not begin. Instead, it was still waiting, as if the companies were a bit slow to react without John as their boss.

At this moment, the management of those companies were all waiting for their bosses' orders, waiting for a single command to launch a counterattack. Since the donkey was being so cooperative, it would be a waste of their time not to retaliate. However, things hadn't reached the point John wanted yet. Only when the donkey's oppression was deeply ingrained in people's minds, and John was made the victim, would the counterattack be more effective, more powerful, and would ensure his invincibility, making him an object of everyone's sympathy!
