Chapter 1526 John's Reminder

Chapter 1516 John's Reminder
“John, they’ve all accepted it, so this matter can end here!” Morgan said this the first thing he said to John the next day. He was worried that John had already taken action. After all, under such circumstances, he dared not be careless in the slightest. If John had already made a move, he had to stop him immediately!
"Don't worry, I'm not like those guys. I still have my integrity. Even if those guys are cunning and treacherous, I won't take action against them before I've had a chance to assess the situation. You can rest assured. But I have to make this clear from the start: if you hadn't shown up before me, I wouldn't have done anything. But things will be different now. You've agreed to my request, and they've agreed. This means we've made a verbal agreement. If anyone still doesn't know when to back down, tries to play tricks or schemes, or even tries to renege on their promise, or deliberately delays, then it's not my problem. I won't give them any face anymore. They will pay the price for their stupidity!"

Morgan was not surprised by John's words. If John had remained silent and accepted his explanation, that would have been a dangerous sign, and Morgan would have had to consider whether John truly accepted his perspective. Fortunately, the worst-case scenario did not occur, and John remained as trustworthy as ever.

Morgan smiled calmly and said, "Of course. If anyone dares to do that, I, Morgan, will not allow it without your intervention, nor will the White House. Whoever dares to play tricks or schemes under these circumstances will have to bear the wrath of Morgan and the White House, and the price will be unbearable for them. I know you are worried about those guys. Don't worry, they have been warned, and they will pay the price. The Bering side has even made a promise to place orders with Gulfstream Aerospace, whether for helicopters or passenger planes. That's their explanation."

“Okay, I believe you, I believe Morgan’s promise, I believe the White House’s promise. However, I also understand those guys’ schemes. Making such a promise at this time, placing such an order with Gulfstream Aerospace, is tantamount to damaging my cooperation with the Middle Eastern tycoons and ruining my relationship with them. They are still so insidious and cunning, still thinking they are the smartest people in the world, treating everyone else as fools, believing that others cannot see through their petty calculations. If it weren’t for the greater good of the United States, this matter would not be over based on their little schemes!” John said with a disdainful snort, directly exposing the schemes of those guys in Israel and letting Morgan know!
At this moment, Morgan said with a wry smile, "John, there's nothing I can do either. The White House and the military can't do anything either. And since you've already seen through all of this, and even have such confidence in the Middle Eastern tycoons, this is a good thing. At least Gulfstream Aerospace can get more orders, which can alleviate its own pressure!"

"If I could, I would never want to have anything to do with these guys, because they are a bunch of greedy and arrogant people. I'm telling you all this to warn them not to play with fire and get burned. They won't be so lucky every time, and I won't always be able to remain calm and sacrifice for the greater good of the United States. Provoking them again and again is just courting their own destruction!"

Upon hearing John's warning, Morgan nodded and said, "Don't worry, I will relay your words to them. To be honest, I also despise their scheming and their ridiculous attitude of treating everyone like fools. Just as you said, if it weren't for the greater good of the United States, they would have to pay a bloody price for their arrogance. No one is willing to accept such a scheme, not only you but I can't accept it either, after all, I'm not a politician!"

At this point, Morgan sighed. His decision alone was useless. The White House and the military would not agree, and even the old guys like Rockefeller would not agree. What's worse, there were many people within Morgan who had the same idea. Morgan was not a monolithic entity!
“I understand, so for your sake and for the sake of the greater good of the United States, we can only let these guys go. To be honest, while those guys in Japan are also greedy, even crazy, these guys in Israel are even more greedy and ignorant. You know, before you even arrived, I had already received a call from a Middle Eastern tycoon. They see through all of this much better. Those petty tricks and schemes of Israel have all been seen through by the Middle Eastern tycoon.”

Upon hearing John's words, Morgan was taken aback for a moment, then smiled wryly and said, "So, they told you their thoughts immediately, and they won't change their mind about the cooperation?"

"Indeed, the Middle Eastern tycoons are more trustworthy and sincere than those guys in Israel. They've even placed new orders with Gulfstream Aerospace, and the same goes for Bentley Motors. They've even asked me if I need their cooperation in launching an energy war against Japan!"

Although Morgan had always known that John had a good relationship with the Middle Eastern tycoons and that they had an unspoken understanding, he was still shocked to hear these words. The fact that John would take the initiative to make such a request showed just how terrifying the cooperation between John and the Middle Eastern tycoons was. Their trust had once again reached its highest level. The guys in Seville had lost face for nothing, and the guys in Japan almost faced an energy crisis.

If John were to cooperate with Middle Eastern tycoons in an energy war against Japan, Japan's economy would likely plunge into crisis once again. If the Middle Eastern tycoons cut off energy supplies to Japan, and Asian energy sources also cut off energy imports, it would be a catastrophic disaster for them, plunging the entire country into a terrible energy crisis. The Japanese haven't even recovered from the financial crisis yet; if another energy crisis were to strike, what hope would they have?
Morgan understood that if such a situation arose, the US would intervene before the Japanese could react, with the White House and the military doing everything in their power to persuade John and the Middle Eastern tycoon. Although many in the US wanted to suppress Japan's economy and development, they didn't want to see Japan in a life-or-death crisis. The US still needed Japan's strength, so they couldn't afford to completely destroy them!

"Everyone underestimated the integrity of the Middle Eastern tycoons, and also the friendship between you. If those guys in Japan knew all this, they'd be even more panicked and would apologize to you even more. They can't afford a decisive battle between you and the Middle Eastern tycoons over energy; if that happens, disaster will befall them!" "No, no one underestimates my friendship with the Middle Eastern tycoons, and no one doubts their integrity. And one more thing I want to say upfront: I know that after all this is over, those guys will resort to their old tricks. They won't target me in this area again, but they'll choose other industries. However, I want them to understand that they can initiate conflict, but when it ends is not something they can control!"

"John, have you discovered something? Just tell me what you're thinking. We'll do our best to solve any problems we can, and we won't let you down!" Morgan instantly understood John's thoughts. He knew that some fools were secretly plotting something, and John already knew about it!
"I have indeed discovered some things, but it's not to the point of fighting them. The choice is in their own hands. You should know that my patience is limited. If they still don't know when to back down and insist on a life-or-death battle with me, then they can't blame me for retaliating. When that time comes, don't try to persuade me to give up!"

"Are these bastards insane? They don't know how serious the consequences of their actions are. It seems you were right before; some people don't deserve sympathy. Our sympathy will only make them more arrogant and conceited, thinking they are indispensable. Perhaps it's time to bring them to their senses!" Morgan's voice was calm, but it was filled with murderous intent. He deeply loathed those guys from Israel. What kind of time is this? These guys are still playing tricks and scheming. If he hadn't spoken with John this time, things would probably be very different now!
"They've always been this crazy, always this greedy. Otherwise, how would they have the land they have now? It's all thanks to their greed. No matter how many people try to persuade them, once their ambition takes hold, their greed won't stop. They will pay the price for their stupidity!"

Just those guys from Selenium? No, there are many more enemies, but John hasn't dragged them into it. However, John can give Morgan face this time and reluctantly accept their explanation, but it's hard to say whether their secrets will still be useful when the real crisis arrives!

“John, thank you for your understanding. Don’t worry, I’ll remind those guys to behave themselves, otherwise they’ll have to pay a new price if something goes wrong. Nobody wants to see conflict, nobody wants accidents to happen. I don’t want to see it, the White House and the military don’t want to see it, and even Locke’s gang fight doesn’t want to see it!”

At this point, Morgan dared not let John go mad, dared not let John lose his mind. If it really got to that point, the consequences would be uncontrollable. No one could be confident in persuading John. Morgan did not have that ability, neither did Rockefeller, nor the White House, nor the military. They were all unwilling to face a crazy John.

If given enough time, Morgan would also like to know what those old guys were up to in the shadows, whether they were plotting something again, and if so, someone would have to pay the price. A kind person is easily taken advantage of, and he knew how many people were after John.

"Heh, Mr. Morgan, do you really believe what you're saying? I certainly don't. I know exactly what those guys are thinking. If they knew when to back down, they wouldn't keep provoking me like this. You should take some time to investigate their little tricks, lest you're kept in the dark!"

As soon as John finished speaking, Morgan felt a chill run down his spine. It was clear that some people had gone too far and had angered John. But now, persuasion was useless; Morgan needed to understand the details first!
"These bastards! I've already stood up for them despite Morgan's own interests, but they're still making underhanded moves. Do they think I'm easy to bully?" Morgan wanted to keep his composure, but he couldn't in this situation!
Seeing the constantly changing expression on Morgan's face, John smiled calmly and said, "Mr. Morgan, I shouldn't have said these things to you in the first place. After all, this isn't your problem. Given our relationship, even if such a situation existed, I wouldn't do anything. But I don't want you to keep being deceived."

Morgan understood John's intentions. The friendship existed, but it wasn't enough for John to act this way. John had his own calculations behind it. Whether John wanted to use him to warn those guys or had other motives, Morgan still owed John a favor, which was what angered him most. This would further damage his relationship with John; those guys were too arrogant, undermining Morgan's foundation!

Fortunately, John didn't get angry and saw through everything. Otherwise, if John stopped trusting himself and Morgan, his actions would have come at a heavy price, and he might even have lost John as an ally. Morgan's losses would have been even more severe. But now was not the time to get angry, nor was it the time to settle scores with these guys!
“John, thank you for reminding me. If it weren’t for you, I’d probably still be in the dark and know nothing. This time, I’ll definitely make him give me an explanation and Morgan an answer. Otherwise, this isn’t over. They can’t keep using American interests as a pretext to pursue their own interests and make us sacrifice. We don’t owe them anything!” As he spoke, a hint of murderous intent flashed across Morgan’s face. To elicit such an agitated reaction from him, one can only imagine how furious he was!
